This is an example of how a mechanic shop should be! Very friendly, walked you through the inspection, told you what was needed, and what would be needed later. I was there for the unbeatable oil change special they offered, and I was not disappointed!

Ultimate Auto Repair did a fantastic job repairing our 2017 Ford Explorer. The Ford tech diagnosed the issue as a failed torque converter, which is a major repair. They ordered a new torque converter and other required parts and had the repair complete within a week. They also provided a free loaner car for me to use while our car was in their shop! I highly recommend them.

Over the past few years I've needed various repairs to my car, and Ultimate Auto has been my go to mechanic in that time. Their inspections are very thorough and they'll give you a list of things that could use attention, as well as estimates for the price of each repair. In addition, when I've had to describe a problem or have been able to suggest what might be causing it, I always feel as though I'm being listened to and taken seriously. Their speed also can't be beat - most repairs I've had done have been completed within a day or two, even when they uncovered additional problems when they were working on the initial issue - and they're very communicative about making sure I'm kept in the loop. As a bonus, they often have loaner vehicles available to use for free while my car is in their hands, which has been invaluable as I commute to work and can't be without a set of wheels. When I move out of the area, I hope I can find a mechanic shop just like this elsewhere.

My Honda CRV had a dashboard sign AWD on and off and one of the Honda dealerships that I went couldn t fix it. Howe ever, after I took it to ultimate auto repair two weeks, the sign disappeared and everything been fine so far. Thanks Jeff and team at Ultimate Auto Repair for fixing it. They also gave me a loaner while fixing my car, so I didn t have to miss work.

These guys are awesome. Very thorough and professional. I broke down on the freeway, and Ultimate provided a tow truck to get me there at an excellent price and got my truck right in and out the same day. They did a follow up afterwards to be sure I was good to go.

If you're looking for any Car Services, STOP RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE and go here!Amazing, is the only word to describe my experience here. They went above and beyond my expectations. They took me out and showed me the undercarriage of my car, showed me what was wrong with it and what I needed to do to fix it. They offered me ride to where I needed to be then came back and picked me up. They gave me a written estimate and even offered financing, thank God!The people are very friendly, trustworthy and honest. No hidden cost, no run around and no problems.Basically a very pleasant surprise to find this Gem of place. I definitely will be a returning client.

Very good customer service. We had some problems with first repair. Bad parts. Not their fault!! Fixed it promptly with the warranty. And gave us a loaner.It would be hard to take our vehicles anywhere else!! Highly recommend

I have no words to explain how wonderful the services are. On top of that Carly specifically has been a godsend in providing not only car services but empathetic services as well. Her understanding and willingness to work with me has had a major positive impact on my life. I have and will always recommend Ultimate Auto to anyone mentioning car services to this day. They truly go above and beyond and I can't be any more thankful for everything they have done for me in regards to my vehicles services. THANK YOU!

Called and told what was going on my dad gave the information to get a hold of them. One call tow truck was here. After the did the 1st job as the check my car they found a critical problem. Very happy with the service,the people. I recommend .Thanks ya'll

I was able to schedule an appointment online for an oil change and tire rotation. The staff was friendly when I dropped off & picked up my car. They advised of some things that were getting close to replacement and gave me an estimate without pressure. I will definitely be going back!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rarely do you have to wait more than a day to get appointment. Most of the time, I get appointments the same day. Repair prices seem competitive and their oil change price cannot be beat. Find them to be knowledgeable and practical in recommending repairs. Had an oil change done . Since it was priced so reasonable thought they'd fine other things wrong that weren't really wrong.Pleasant surprise they didn't. Great to find an honest workshop. I definitely recommend them.

This is the first time I ve ever left a negative review of any type. As a small business owner, I understand the impact & prefer to address any concerns directly & discreetly to the owner/manager. But my recent experience was so egregious, I had to post something. I have used Ultimate Auto Repair twice - Aug 23 and Nov 23. First, was to get the manufacturer s recommended maintenance service. That experience was fine. No problem. 3 weeks after my appointment, my check engine light came on after I filled tank with fuel. I tried tightening cap, in case it was the seal. Still on. Contacted manufacturer, asked if app was sharing anything specific? Used entire tank of gas, refueled from well known gas station, no change. I contacted Ultimate Auto Repair - shared that my check engine light on after getting fuel & car acted sluggish the day I got that gasoline, but was fine now, had new tank of gas but light still on. They said bring it in, we ll take a look. After 25-30 min I was given an +$7500 estimate to replace my turbocharger, that was going out. I asked how they knew this? My car was only 4 years old, I ve never missed a recommended maintenance service appointment; was anything covered under my warranty (I bought car new)? I was told that the mechanic removed my turbocharger, took it apart, confirmed it was going out, put it back together and back in my engine. I was told that at any time, my car engine would shut off, no warning, leaving me stranded if I didn t have this replaced now. I asked again about the warranty and was told there was no answer when they called. I was given the estimate again and told if I didn t do this now, I was at risk of my car breaking down at any time & would have to get my vehicle towed, which I would have to pay for in addition to the new turbocharger. I questioned how they removed the turbocharger and I wish they didn t take it apart without talking to me or the manufacturer first. She reiterated that the mechanic put it back together, put it back in car & didn t cause additional damage. Somehow they removed my turbocharger and put it back in, without replacing my gasket. I was charged $124 for time to diagnose cause of check engine light (25 -30 min time). I ve since had my vehicle checked by certified mechanic- who did full vehicle check by plugging it in cleared the data and checked again, just to confirm first read. Nothing wrong with turbocharger. Nothing wrong with engine. Stated that it s highly impossible to remove/reinstall turbocharger within 30 min. In fact, he said he could say with 100% certainty that no one removed MY turbocharger. The whole story & appointment was a waste of time. Spent $124 to learn Ultimate Auto Repair lacks skill set and resources to accurately diagnose & estimate correct repairs for the automobiles they claim to be certified to service. I am reporting this incident to the manufacturer of my vehicle along with the estimate documentation provided by the mechanic, who never introduced himself or attempted to discuss in person, while I sat, alone, in the waiting room waiting for an answer. DON T go here - especially if you are a FEMALE and you show up alone.

I want to say how impressed and excellent the service at Ultimate Auto Repair is. Firstly, I m an RN from Canada, I was working at the local hospital in Jackson. My car suddenly stopped working the morning after a 12 hour shift and I towed my car to Ultimate Auto Repair. While at first they attempted to repair my vehicle, it turned out the auto part was improper or malfunctioned but nevertheless, the owner Carl made up for it by contacting me and setting me up with a local repair shop in Canada! Can t be more of an excellent auto repair shop than that. I want to thank Karli and Carl for their amazing service. If you are ever in Jackson, number 1 place to have your car repaired.

I don t know what happened with my last post. So I m rewriting a new one because I think this place deserves good reviews for good work aka extremely hard work they put into vehiclesCarly was super helpful with helping my figure out my car so I greatly appreciate her I also want to do a huge shout out to the guys that worked on my transmission as I know that job was probably very difficult. I dropped my car off running cruddy and picked her up running smooth. I m happy with my car and I m super thankful for the people that helped me get going again. Trust is a big thing and I ll be back to this place if something happens to me again

I highly recommend this garage to anyone needing service on their vehicle. From the first phone call through picking up my car they were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, honest and professional. I believe that their pricing is very fair. I'm happy I chose Ultimate Auto. They provided me a shuttle home so that I could work while they were fixing my car. They also shuttled me back. This is a very nice service. I was charged $2k for a fuel pump and valve covers back in the spring, with another $2k quoted for fixing my "unsafe" car. I went to FastGuys in North Adams and they fixed all of my issues Ultimate said I had for, wait for it, $500. Ultimate Auto is a scam and I will not be coming back.Outer tie rods, alignment, exhaust leak, rear brakes, plus a thorough oil change, would've been at least a thousand here at Ultimate.They also came up with some weird things that they said needed fixed, including my CATALYTIC CONVERTERS (which was almost $2k themselves) and FastGuys found NOTHING wrong with my cats or front sway links and other stuff Ultimate quoted me on. I don't typically leave negative reviews, but the price, service, and quality difference between here and FastGuys is insane. Make sure you get another quote before you commit to fixing your car here.Update: posting proof because they read my review and called me, probably to insist that I wasn't overcharged. I was. Everyone I have talked to knows I was. $500 vs $2000. I know which one I'm choosing.

These guys know how to run a business and know what they are doing i worked w Karly the whole time she is amazing we will definitely be back I Took my 08 suburban in to get looked at needed some work lots of work that is they literally took my truck Monday and had it back same week that Friday all I can say is wow I m impressed I ve never been to mechanic shop and felt like I did when I walked in ultimate auto they care they are fair w the prices does nice job on all there work if I could give them a 10 on here I would thank you so much for fixing my truck ~Ashley~

I sent my girlfriend to Ultimate Auto for an oil change which I received a flyer for $34.95 oil change with 5 qts. Full synthetic oil, filter and 15 minute safety check. Oil change went ok as far as I can tell. They said she needed new tires and had an oil leak. They gave her an estimate for 4 new tires at around $850.00 and $147.50 to find an oil leak. Even though the back tires were less than a year old and not worn at all, they determined she needed 4 tires. She went to Discount tire and they sold her 2 tires to replace the qorn front tires with no issues. When she went in for a wheel alignment 2 days later, they said both ball joint pinch bolts were loose and she needed an outer tie rod end. So much for their safety check done 2 days earlier with the oil change, which they didn't find loose ball joint pinch bolts OR a worn tie rod end. They gave her an estimate for $235 to tighten 2 bolts and replace the tie rod. I TOLD her to just bring it to my house and I tightened the ball joint pinch bolts in 5 minutes and checked the tie rod end. I didnt find it to be worn at all. Then, looking at the estimate, they were charging $95.00 for the part plus labor for install, 30 minutes, $62.50. The cost of a tie rod end for MOOG, was $22.00 from my supplier and only $40.00 from the local auto parts store. The owner called her and I asked why the 125% markup on parts and he said he had overhead, taxes, insurance, wages and a laundry list of other excuses for overcharging for parts. He also said everyone thinks he gets a huge discount on auto parts and hinted that he didnt get ANY discount on parts. ALL mechanics get a discount, even if it's only 5%. I told him I was a mechanic and his overhead costs were the reason he charges $125.00 an hour for labor. He is NOT entitled to mark up the cost of parts. He doesn't even have to pay a guy to run get the parts, the store delivers them to his shop. After that experience, I highly doubt he even used synthetic oil at all. He still had the nerve to tell me when I got the stuff fixed to bring it in to get the wheel alignment. HAHA! I wouldn't let him even put air in my bike tire!! Even if it was free!!
