This is by far the best place to get your car worked on in Jackson County. Very reliable and trustworthy, as the same guys have been here for so long, so you really can trust them. They don't try to pressure or upsell. They tell you what's wrong and give you options and let you choose what you want to do. They are very trustworthy, if they tell me something needs replacing, I KNOW it actually does need to be replaced. Our family highly recommends this place!!! Don't take your car anywhere else!Their prices are right about where everyone else is charging BUT the difference is they know their stuff and arent going to rip you off. They know what they are doing and they are HONEST! Can't recommended them enough!

Have driven my car for a couple of days and have noticed no problems! I am very impressed with their professionalism and willingness to work with me on price. If you take your car anywhere other than Tuffys, you re doing it wrong.

Our wheel started to make a horrible noise on the highway on our drive back to Chicago, so we turned to Google to see if there was an auto shop nearby who could make sure everything was safe before we continued our drive. Called Tuffy and they were immediately willing to squeeze us in and check things out. Most likely culprit was a rock from the road, but nothing needing immediate attention. They topped up our tire pressure and sent us on our way with a smile, free of charge. Thanks Tuffy Team!

The waiting room has just been remolded and is very nice with comfortable chairs, clean bathroom, electrical outlets and coffee. There is no wifi though. The service here is great. The guys are super honest and fair with pricing. I mainly get oil changes here but they are very helpful and always have specials on their website. I'd reccomend them to anyone!

This is my first google review but it was necessary for sure. I took an Audi A3 in for a pre Purchase inspection. The guys there found all the issues wrong with it within minutes and advised me not to purchase. Very knowledgeable, polite, friendly. If you're from Jackson and looking for a new vehicle for sure take it to these guys for inspection.Service: Vehicle Inspection

I can t say enough about how accommodating this place was I needed to reschedule my appointment. They did that without any issue and then I was 15 minutes late for my rescheduled appointment, so no issue on their end they were prompt and courteous. They got me in extremely fast I was in and out of there in a half an hour tops not only did they look at my car, and listen to what I was concerned about. They went and asked her mild to repair something that they caught on their own and did it free of charge. I would highly recommend this place! I will definitely be going back, thank you guys!

I contacted this Tuffy Tire for a used care inspection for a car we were looking to purchase. They had immediate availability for this on a Saturday morning, were polite, professional, and thorough, and offered the inspection as a complimentary service to us.

Had some muffler work done, they did a great job and they did it quickly, I was notified of some additional work needed on my muffler so the price ended up being a bit of a surprise. But that's my cars fault not theirs. Really nice guys going great work

UPDATE: It was my fault. They resounded very quickly, but the email went to my junk mail and I never thought to look there.When I finally remembered to call them, they let me know they did respond and told me the date. That's when I figured to look in my junk mail. Sure enough, that's where it was.My apologies to Tuffy.Kind of odd that I got an email from Tuffy today, giving me coupons and asking for a review of their services.I filled out their online request for a quote two weeks ago and never heard back from them.I will contact them again. I figure them not getting back was an oversight or communication breakdown. I've had excellent service from other Tuffy shops in the past.

Tuffy has always been a place to take cars - my dad always has taken vehicles here and I now take my car here for repairs too. Very friendly staff - Brandon and Tim are always great to work with! My 2018 Compass is always in great hands when I take my car there. Highly recommend!

Big thanks to the guys at Tuffy! They were so up front and honest about my car being at the end of its life. Even took me into the shop to show me the issues that made fixing her cost prohibitive! I no longer live in Jackson but I still take my car to Tuffy because they have always been straight with me. Thank you so much!

I highly recommend Tuffy's!They are trustworthy, honest, helpful, friendly, and always do a wonderful job. I have been going to them regularly for a few years now and never have been disappointed with their service. I cannot recommend Tuffy in Jackson enough! My family has been taking our cars to them for over 20 years. They are knowlegable, kind, honest, and trustworthy. They are excellent with communication and have very fair prices. Everyone I have worked with at Tuffy has been wonderful, but recently I had a wonderful experience with Dan. Dan helped me through a really unfortunate situation with a less than professional car dealer, and I am so grateful for his character, respect, and care for me and my car. He is a stand up guy! WE LOVE YOU, Tuffy! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I used to go somewhere else years ago and they closed down. I spent a year looking for a new regular mechanic until my dad recommended tuffys. As a young woman I started sending my husband (then boyfriend) into places because they'd treat me differently and some even tried to charge me for repairs i didnt need. I can happily say I no longer do that. Tuffys is very trustworthy. They want to help you with your vehicle. They will use all correct terms but explain repairs in a simple way. They also will tell you what's wrong with your car and listen to the symptoms you give them while not pressuring you to spend more money than you need to get your car in working condition. Everyone I've talked to at tuffys has been friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you tuffys employees!

Top notch customer service! Brandon and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. They informed me of the work that needed to be done and gave me a price before they started working on my vehicle. The price was fair for the quality work that was done. The waiting room was very clean and comfortable. I was able to use their WiFi to get some work done while I waited. I would highly recommend them! This was my first time getting work done here, but it seems like a very honest and trustworthy place. I will definitely take my vehicles to them the next time I need some work done!

Their customer service is excellent! We ve taken our cars here for several different issues and they ve always been very quick to get things figured out and taken care of. Got an oil change and they were supposed to test things like my battery which I replaced a week later because it has a dead cell in it and it fried my alternator when I replaced it. It would been nice to know I needed it when I was there because my kid wouldn't have stuck in that terrible ice storm coming home from work. I was not a happy camper. I just wish they would do what their coupon says they are going to do.

I went into this place expecting to deal with the basic mechanic mentality where they think you have no idea about anything that they do and was pleasantly surprised to learn that was not the case. They worked with me when I had to have my car towed into their shop after hours and were very respectful about it all. They even let me park my other car their for a few days until I was able to return and grab it. I told them what I needed done (power steering line - about $300 here and over $500 everywhere else I called) and asked them to check my brakes and that's all they did. I've been to several mechanics and they always try to tack on hidden fees thinking that you won't notice, fluid here, labor here, and everything in between. They gave me a flat base estimate over the phone, had my car fixed in 2 days (would've been one but part was delayed coming in) and I was very thankful when the price they quoted me over the phone hadn't changed when I went in to pick it up. If you're looking for an honest shop that isn't in it just to run up your wallet then I highly suggest Tuffy's. Honest, cheap, and quality care. I will be returning when I need work done in the future that I cannot do myself :)

I had an exhaust leak on my 2015 GMC Acadia. The dealer charged me $149 just to diagnose a hole that we could already see. Then they wanted to charge me $1,300 to repair the problem! I was $153 out the door with Tuffy. Excellent customer service, communication and even a warranty. I will definitely be back if other issues arise. And I've already recommended you to others!Service: Exhaust

I've taken many cars over many years to Tuffy in Jackson. I've always received excellent customer service and excellent service on my vehicles. I've never felt I've been overcharged; in fact, I think they do their best to try to save their customers money. They're honest, reliable and provide great service for my vehicles!

I've been going to this location for service on my vehicles since 2003. Always professional, affordable, and timely with all repairs. I recently had them install an after market muffler for performance and sound quality. As expected, their technicians provided me with the information to make an educated and affordable decision. I appreciate their honesty and most of all the quality of work. Highly recommend using them.

Tuffy is such a life saver! Even though they are far away from my place, the trip is totally worth it. Such a nice staff, fair price, always perfect repairs. The one time I took my car to a shop closer to home, I had a oil sensor replaced just to have the problem come back in a couple of weeks. I took my car to Tuffy, as I should have in first place, and they found the actual root cause and provided me with a solution without any part expense or unnecessary cost. I highly recommend these guys!
