Called several times and was told Bill would call me back. Never returned my calls re: servicing my Mercedes. I'll also never take my Porsche or Lexus here either. You're not the only game in town anymore and Automotive Perfection is cleaning your clock.

Had a repair done that had a mishap I called back and asked if they could redo it and not only did they fix it they put a brand new part in for safe measure and did not charge me at all 10/10 service as well

I was driving home on 94 to Chicago from MI when my car s oil light came on and gave me a warning message that I had NEVER seen before! I called my mechanic who was able to find Kelly Imports and direct me to them for assistance. They could not have been nicer! They were on a wait but they were able to get me in and fix the issue very quickly. Their prices were super reasonable, they got me fixed up and back ok the road to Chicago before too long at all. I really appreciate them and if you are in the area and need a reliable and fair service provider; I totally recommend this shop...I wish I had extra thumbs so I could give them more than 2 thumbs up!!Service: Engine repair

I m kind of disappointed in the service I received on my vehicle. I had spent 1200 on a belt, tensioner and a brake flush. Granted it fixed the issue but I had asked them about a coolant leak I know was coming from engine. He said it s more likely just the reservoir when doing an oil change and they didn t find anything when test driving ex. I work at the dealership an know the basic automotive findings. So I Pick it up and again asked about coolant leak as Wes just said nope Literally drove maybe 5 miles in a garage to look at a COOLANT LEAK ON FLOOR. Call the next day, all I get was to bring it back an I m more the welcome to CHARGE Ya for more. What s Crazy is it was 850 just in Labor. Charged me for things without asking, neglected to tell me about issues, and I even suspect that they created an issue after I turned down a repair.I took my Saab 9-3 into them after having some severe acceleration issues, because they were the closest shop willing to see me same day. I had 5 quarts of oil and a filter in my car just waiting for me to find time to change my oil, so I asked them to do it while I was there.This visit ended with them charging me $300 to clean my throttle body, neglecting to tell me about the giant crack in the sensor housing. $30 for the oil change, over-tightening the drain plug to the point of needing replacement. And $8 for washer fluid (without asking).This last part I can't prove, but they told me I needed an AC recharge. My AC has been down right frigid before this appointment, so I declined. After getting my car back all of my AC line caps were missing and my AC blew warm air...To sum up this review, avoid this shop at all costs. They will over charge and find any way (to the point of creating problems) to charge you for work that you don't need.

They never recommend unnecessary fixes. Kelly and Bill are the best! They keep my car in Tip-Top shape!Update: this place fixed my Honda after a drive in oil change place over filled my cars oil causing it to throw a rod. They kept me in the loop the whole time, and had my car running perfect when they were through. I will never go to another mechanic

Highly recommend for any car service & maintenance, especially BMW. About a half hour shorter wait then the dealer, a little bit cheaper and did a full free inspection. Very thorough and detail oriented staff, Wes was exceptionally personable and polite. They didn't push or recommend any unnecessary service. Adjusted my cars computer service interval alerts to my liking and used all OEM materials. Really well versed in all things that go into maintaining a BMW.

I am extremely happy to the service that I have received at Kelly Imports. Kelly s is extremely fair and provided a very detailed assessment of the issues with my car. They worked with me to prioritize what items needed to be fixed and what items could wait based upon my budget. I highly recommend them.

Knowledgeable courteous professional regular people to make you feel comfortable, appeared to be reasonably honest had no reason to doubt the young gentleman that I came in contact with. He was very helpful very friendly and I'm just grateful that he was as kind as he was very easy to talk to he was very respectable as well. You could tell he knew what he was doing; but you better be prepared to spend all your money if that's all you got is enough to fix your car because nobody up there is going to work with you feel sorry for you and there's nothing personal or emotional they don't give a rat's butt about what you going through they don't care if you have but only a week to live!! You don't have the money they quote you just to check it and what would a may be shaken an hour is that they wanted to charge me over $200, furthermore what he did not tell me was that for the headlights to work on my vehicle it must be grounded in the only way it can be grounded through the casing of the headlight! Real sad he can see that it couldn't and it was not grounded, therefore the likelihood that it would have took all day until the next day to figure out what was wrong with highly unlikely so just to diagnose it they would have left a bill up on me probably close to $800 and that's before telling me what the problem was! For them to fix it only $100 would have been applied to the bill and then of course labor and parts so they would have ended up running for something that only took and only will take now that I found by the grace of God thank you Jesus!!, I need to probably replace the casing of my headlight to ground the bulb.If you don't have anyone that is knowledgeable and good and honest with you ladies don't go... gentleman with a foreign car as well; please don't go without your own mechanic who is honest and decent as I stated two sentences ago!!You probably will get ripped off, though I did get the feeling that with the proper lighting I'll say they won't overcharge you like the attempted to do to me. And that's only because they could tell that between myself and my cousin we had nothing else to go on but their word and because of the kind of car I own it's supposed to sound right to me.... duh I guess I must have gave them the impression that I just came off of some kind of boat, my people was here long before it was discovered you can't discover nothing it's already occupied let's just say keep you a mechanic that has knowledge of foreign automobiles if not you're in for a ride if you resemble me

Contacted them by phone for a quote on a repair only to receive no response. I went into the shop to get an estimate and the man behind the counter was condescending and quick to offer extra services, car rentals, and other things that would cost more $$. I told him the specific, exact repair I needed (replaced transmission speed sensor and plugs) and that I wanted an estimate, he insisted they take the car for several hours, possibly days to find out what was wrong because "it could be anything". Then in his estimate for the work included all those pesky maintenance things that were "probably not something I wanted to mess with". Just because your customer's a woman doesn't mean they don't know how to check the oil level and ensure headlights work.

I have been taking all of my vehicles to Kelly's for at least 5 years. It is the best, most trustworthy shop I have found in this area in my 21 years of driving. I know auto repair is a sensitive topic and I know different people have had different experiences. However, I would recommend, and have repeatedly recommended, Kelly Imports to anyone looking for a good mechanic.

I take all of my vehicles to Kelly Imports. Because I trust them. They have gone over and above great service at times in order to get my truck back on the road for a vacation. They are thorough, always communicate well with me and help me through the "fix list" that inevitably creeps up on aging vehicles. Bill, Wes, Bruce and Terry are awesome!

I really wouldn't give them one star, but it wouldn't let me post without clicking one of them. Very disappointed in this place and would never use them again or recommend them. Took our 2008 VW Jetta to Kelly Imports because of an issue with the car starting to run really rough all of a sudden. They charged their usual $180 price just to look at it and write up a quote to repair. They came back with "The engine is blown and will need to get a new one." The cost for this would be $7,000. Did not have them do the work because husband didn't think it sounded right that the engine was "blown up", based on how the car ran and other things... So, ended up taking the car to Williams Auto World in Lansing for, if nothing else, a second opinion. Well guess what... the engine is NOT blown up- it is a timing chain issue and will cost much less than $7,000 to repair. Thank goodness we didn't trust Kelly Imports on this and just let them replace the engine and charge us all that money.

Failed to pull the pin on the timing belt tensioner when they did a head gasket replacement on our 07 Outback. Took it back to them a couple times because of the rattling tensioner, only to have them tell is all good before it jumped timing and lost oil pressure. They denied it throughout a year of court proceedings including submitting falsified statements to the court regarding facts of the case. Since they were able to pay an unethical lawyer to persuade a judge that we shouldn t be allowed to represent ourselves pro se as the law provides, we were only able to get them to settle for $1,000 instead of fixing the $4,000 in damage it caused.Run fast in the other direction to anyone but them.

Took my Prius for the ABS, traction control and brake lights all coming on at once. First they fixed one problem that did get rid of them, then after driving for a few days the problem came back, took it back and they found another problem that may have been the main problem, fix it and without trying to upsell me like most places would.Quite a few weeks later and the fix is going strong.10/10 would recommend them if you have a Prius.

I have an 05 Subaru wrx and had an alternator done here about a year ago, they replaced the battery and the alternator and ever since then my car has had a voltage regulation issue, since then I ve tried to fix it, I ve had 3 different alternators 2 batteries and I still have the issue. I ve taken it to many mechanics since to try and chase this issue down but still no luck.Service: Electrical repair

Does not stand behind their repairs. Went in for timing belt and water pump routine maintenance. One year later, engine needs to be replaced due to faulty replacement of the water pump and timing belt. Kelly would not repair engine. Kelly Imports happy to take your money!!!!!!!!

I go to Kelly's because I appreciate that they do not talk down to me, they explain things in an easy to understand manner, and have never tried to talk me into any expenses I don't need. The options are given, information is provided in a clear way, and they allow me to make the decision. I usually drive older foreign cars - Volvo, Lexus - so I've been to Kelly's many times.

Great place for any exotic car, you bring your car here and you will not regret it I promise you guys!! Its ninety five to check your car but if they find anything they can fix during that time and under that price then it is covered so with that said bring your car into that place and enjoy a great experience and an amazing car care experience :)

The service is great. They answer all my questions, provide a comprehensive list of items to consider and are always able to do what's necessary when budget is a factor. It's good to have them in town and I will keep using them in the future.

Management is willing to work thru communication issues, if you talk to them. They seem eager to make things right, I appreciate willingness to have a dialogue when needed. They seem to be community minded and want to help the town.

$4600 repair because they said my engine would need replaced otherwise- 2 weeks later my engine went- the owner said I'd have to prove it in court
