Had the best experience with Sophia G as my cashier. She helped us out big time when I ordered the wrong part by accident. This is why I come to the E Mich store. Y'all are the best.

I was looking for a battery for my SUV. When I checked out their website. They had the battery I wanted. I drive to the store and the only batteries they had in stock were all over $210. This is my second vehicle I drive when my other is not availble. I wasn't even asked if I wanted to see if they could find one. One clerk was to busy with synchronicity to assist and the other clerk was clueless. Do I really need to spell out my review? I agree not necessary.

I ordered a battery online from Advanced Auto 3133 E Michigan Ave, Jackson, MI 49202. I ordered it through them because they supposedly offered free installation according to their web page. This is one of the primary reasons I chose to purchase it from them. There are many more stores I could have chosen at a much lesser price. I have partial paralysis in my hand that makes changing out a battery very difficult to do therefore the need for the free installation. I also figured I could turn in my old battery at that time to recover my core charge. I was given some lame excuse about multiple wires going into the battery terminal clamps and if they unhooked the positive battery cable that the security on the truck would lock the truck down and it wouldn't start. They said it would have to be then towed to Ford(F250)to get it running again. I came home and with the assistance of a neighbor I was able to swap out the battery. Guess what? It started right up. I feel they made an excuse because it was hot and they were to lazy to swap it out. I will never do business with Advanced Auto in the future as the are fraudulent in there advertising to attract customers from their competitors. FREE INSTALLATION? YEA RIGHT. I will shop at Auto Zone in the future.

Sometimes they give the wrong parts. But still a good parts store. All the different parts stores can do that. parts that don't fit. I get so mad when it's screwed up.

I can usually find what I am looking for or pick it up next day. I am bummed about the loss of a good loyalty program. That's ok I guess as long as I get what I need to finish my projects. Yeah I stopped I today to get wipers for wife jeep. No problem with the fronts. The back one however. So the first time was my bad for not being sure what was listed on the rack was what was on the rack. So I got the right package, but couldn't get it to fit. So I had one of the guys try no go. Went in got another package and compared. Turns out someone had bought the first one. Changed their blade, put their old one in the package and returned it. Who ever took the return didn't check and put the package back on the rack. I would recommend if possible, do your own check.

Went into the store in the middle of a snowstorm because my windshield wiper broke. Purchased them and the saleswoman asked if I would like them installed. I said yes because I do not know how and the saleswoman being new asked for assistance from a coworker. The coworkers name was Sam and she was dreadful. Rudely asked the saleswoman to read the sign on the door (that I was not aware of said no installs ) and then proceeded to say she would do it this one time. I told her if she s not allowed to then I would try. She then aggressively said she had to get her coat, huffed and the door to ask me where my car was and then repeatedly told me In a rude matter how she shouldn t have to do this. To which I told her I would try myself. After she stood at my car with a very evident attitude telling me my wiper was frozen which it wasn t. I took my wipers and my business elsewhere. Do better Sam! Oh and they sold me the wrong wipers which I found out later.

Used online ordering, your order ready in 30 minutes. 25% off. 2 hours later order still not pulled. Woman who helped me was very pleasant. The guy working there acted like he wished he was somewhere else.

Sitting in parking lot at 7pm and door says closes at 8pm and online says closes at 8. Still knocking calling and sitting here at 7:13 pm and nothing, no one even bothered to come to the front to just say "hey, we are closed sorry!" Vehicles in parking lot. I will no longer be doing service here. Least they could have done was hang a sign saying closed early due to... I don't even care, don't list a reason, just say closed early. I will be taking my purchases somewhere else!

Outstanding service every time, what I need in stock and I can always get a 20% coupon code when I order online. Tonight, Vince and (sorry not sure of the other guy's name, not on the receipt) went above and beyond. I came in about 45 minutes before closing with 3 different things, a core return, melted jumper cables that I had just bought and used once and I asked if they had time to do a quick charge on my battery. He processed my core return and warranty quickly and put my battery on the charger knowing the time constraints. They engaged me in conversation when they didn't have other customers and didn't act as if they were just trying to get out of there and I was just a burden. He could have easily told me the battery would just have to wait for another day and I would've been fine with that knowing how close it was to closing time. People always tell me I should just go to Performance or Auto Zone or blah blah blah but I will continue to buy what I need from this store. Having the parts I need at a fair price is always good but customer service is always key no matter what business and the employees at this Advance store excel at it. Thanks!!

I use this store more often than any others, and dont have problems. But today I bought a new battery, and after 20 minutes waiting for the guy to come out to install, I went in to find out what's going on. Another guy said that the one who sold me the battery left. OK...? He then said I could take the cart and install it myself. Needing to get home, I did, even though it was 10 degrees out. Not happy.

I took my van for a battery test and was told it was my alternator that was going bad. I took it to get the alternator replaced only to find out it was just the battery cables that were loose!

Love this place to buy they tried to help me but couldn't and tried for me to go out to art Moen Chevy dealership or bo's locksmith on north st but didn't get a chance to go there and it look like they closed their business no hours shutdown

Only have one buying experience here and the service was good. Went to buy an alternator (new) before I headed back to college (600 miles away). The alternator ran for about a week before it died. Lucky me there was a store near my college. What ticked me off is I ended up going through 6 alternators in the matter of 2 months! I paid $120 for 6 alternators, thank God they were under a life time warranty. They continue to honor the warranty which is why they get two stars instead of one, but I've been left with a dead battery too many times to risk ever buying something from them again.Additionally by battery passed Autzone's test three times and on the fourth alternator my battery was declared dead! Another $100 gone because of this.The next time this alternator goes I'm doing the swap blindfolded... but this current one has lasted months now so kind of disappointed I can't do a blindfolded swap yet xD

I buy my oil from here so it's nice to be able to bring the used oil in, when I get more for my next oil change. Been buying parts from here for years and they are always helpful.

Does not matter if I call between 9 in the morning and 8 at night I will sit on hold for 10 minutes every time. Not one other part store has this problem in town even the other to advance Auto Parts
