It's okay....just because one out of two employees wasn't a lazy a@@. Mike/Michael, rude, bothered, annoyed, and keeping his chair warm. Likes to interrupt people while they are speaking and gives off an impression that customers are wasting his time.

As far as sales and experience goes one of the best places around, prices can be better at O'Reilly's, but for experience and know how; advanced is the stop.

My review was deleted! They don't like to be called out! They pick and choose who gets to complete their doordash orders, they over work their employees and make sure they get zero breaks! They truly need to be investigated for how they do things, Matt won't let certain dashers pick up orders. And some of us doordash to support our kids and by you denying me or any dasher an order you effect is. I've also contacted doordash and informed them of this location so they know to take it off doordash route! Very ashamed my review was deleted! Don't be embarrassed now advanced auto you caused this to yourself!

These guys were the only ones who had the part I needed and they were super friendly and didn't make you feel like you were wasting their time....unlike other auto parts stores locally. Would give 500 stars if I could.

My daughter went to Jackson to have dinner with a friend. On their way back to Hillsdale her car was having a coolant issue. She stopped to get antifreeze. Then she realized she had a leaking hose. A very nice employee, Shaun, helped her get it tightened and refilled her coolant. She was back on the road and made it home safe. Thanks Shaun and Advanced Auto Parts!

Not the friendliest staff or too much help, well the staff member I worked with anyways. They have a decent selection of products but the layout throws me off a bit and it could be more organized. Overall, it's a parts/auto store and most likely will have what you need at a ok price.

Manager on 8/13/22 at 12:00 pm did an outstanding job on getting me all fixed up, I had bought a Reese hitch from advanced and I wanted to return it, Michigan Ave wouldn't return it, however I came to Monroe street and the manager called, and talked and did a bunch of typing and got it all figured out 10/10 would recommend Monroe st advanced auto parts, in addition that manager deserves a raise!

Helpful employees, and very friendly and fun. I appreciate people who can joke around with customers (of course, nothing offensive at all, just general banter that makes the working guy comfortable).I wish more businesses would be "cool" about things and not make everything "professional."Especially for places like car parts stores, most of us consumers are just on our way home from work, and its refreshing to just chat about anything while you get your parts.I know there's only 5 stars, but 10/10!

I ordered rotors and pads for my truck online and they sent the wrong rear rotors even though the website specified that it fit my vehicle. I was just barely outside the 45-day return window and Manager David would not accept a return on my rear rotors. Called the Advance Auto on Michigan ave and Samantha the manager over there was happy to help me and accepted my return and allowed me to order the correct ones. I will not be returning to shop at the Monroe Advance Auto due to David's lack of customer service.

After three great customer service experiences I finally decided to give this store a review. The staff is alway helpful and offer to install whatever they can. I purchased bulbs and a battery from this store and they're always helpful. The employees go above and beyond for customers. This is like my home auto store now.

Will never shop at this store again. I bought a coolant temperature sensor that the employee couldn't tell if it was the right part or not (it wasnt) said imployee told me to return if it wasn't.Went to return today only to be told by the manager that there's nothing he can do for me because it's an electronic part and they won't return it even though it's unused

Purchased a hose for the antifreeze on the car. Told him the sized we needed; he suggested 3foot length and antifreeze and clamps for the hose. Successfully the hose was placed on by us and less then $25.00 was spent. Great experience and patient as well as courteous sales associate. Quick and Affordable! What more could you ask for?

Had an issue with my headlights and the gentleman helped me answer all my questions. He even went out of his way and checked my lights and fuses and helped me get my lights working. Jesse was super helpful and super nice, i will definitely be coming back here for any auto part needs. Thanks again.

I would choose this place over o'reilly auto parts. I've had excellent customer service with advance. O'reilly's most day time personal have been rude and want you out the door. I've actually heard them tell me "I don't know what to tell you."

Good customer service. If you order online and pickup in the store you will receive up to a 25% discount off your total purchase depending on the coupons offered that day. They offer free installation of car batteries and wiper blades so if you don't know how, or just don't want to take the time or tools with you to do it, it's nice. We sent our 18 y/o teen daughter up here to have her battery changed out 1st thing in the morning after we ordered a new one online cause neither of us had time to help due to work schedules. They switched it out for her and it solved her car's problem. They also have the equipment to test alternators, and batteries as well as diagnose check engine lights. If they don't have something you want/need in stock, ask, they may be able to order it for you or their staff can recommend a place to help.

They were helpful and gave great service. I was able to get my fuses for my charging port changed out quickly and they helped me complete the task. Very happy customer.

Prices are way higher than O'Reilly's, like 50% higher. Also the people who work there will tell you they are the cheapest in town, only the cheapest made. Save you pocket book and go to O'Reilly's.

Starter tester doesn't work and if you are there at 8:30 am customer service leaves alot to be desired
