This is a wonderful very dog-friendly resort, open all year round. They have a large salt water pool, hot tub, sauna, game room, and ping pong table. They have beautiful nature trails for outdoor walks. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The food is unbelievably good at the restaurant. You can eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We liked the wings and steak and eggs breakfast best. We will return and try skiing next year.

This is our 3rd year here for the ski jumps. We decided to rent a condo this year for $650+ said it would sleep 8 and had pull out sofa. Condo had 3 twin beds, 1 king, and no pull out sofa! We made a 13 hour drive from KS! Have guests staying with us that are now displaced. Definitely no hospitality or regard from staff or management!! They wanted to charge us another $$$ per night for a hotel room when their website is very misleading. Offered no kind of compensation whatsoever they are obviously making enough money this weekend to where our stay is not going to affect them. Make sure to ask extent questions when renting the condos!! I worked at a Hilton property for over 10 years, and this is horrible hospitality!!

The service was phenomenal; Leslie is an absolute gem and superlative host. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. The resort was comfortable and welcoming. Beds were comfy and rooms were well furnished and clean. Quaint, charming, rustic. The restaurant did not disappoint. Yummy, homemade, and very reasonably priced. Fell in love with the vibe and the gorgeous scenery. Can't wait for our next visit!

I didn't stay at the hotel, I did on the other hand go to the restaurant. The food was delicious, I had a salmon sandwich which at first I thought was too expensive. After eating it, I realized the exquisite taste and quantity was in line with the cost. My waitress was knowledgeable about each dish and provided excellent service. Additionally, my waitress had a wealth of knowledge on the corporate structure of Pine Mountain which leads me to believe she is proud of where she works.

We arrived late, so crawling into bed to find that it was rock hard and the pillows uncomfortable was disappointing. The photos online made the rooms look exceptionally nice but our room felt like a dorm room. When we woke up I pulled the sheets back to find random short hairs all over and hair behind the bathroom door. It was obvious that the sheets were not changed. For $220/night, this place is way over priced. The only nice review was the front desk was very nice.

Beautiful clean rooms and great staff. The wooden bedframes and furniture are a nice touch. Not much snow this winter, but an amazing place to stay!!!Rooms: Excellent newer beds/mattresses with fun and functional wood accessoriesNearby activities: When you're not skiing or snowboarding, there are still lots of fun activities around, including bowling and a museum

Rooms, especially bathroom are small, staff is far from friendly, they added 100 dollars to my orig room price because my wife was staying in same room. Restaurant was not open for breakfast as quoted. Pool was over crowded with kids not staying at resort. Will not stay here again. On a very positive note, you have to visit the war memorial on top of hill. A must see!!

Dining experience very subpar. One in our party made it VERY clear they were allergic to wheat and ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with NO bun. Yep, served with a bun. No potato or any other option for a wheat allergy. What "full service restaurant" doesn't offer a baked potato? Literally EVERYTHING is deep fried. The one person in our group that ordered an appetizer got it about 10 minutes after everyone else's dinners were brought to the table, and that app WAS their meal. No acknowledgement from wait staff that the wheat allergy order was incorrect. Full price charged for a naked chicken breast and nothing else. Just expected better. Disappointed.Food & drinks: 1 steak offering - a $40.00 14 oz sirloin. Crazy not to offer smaller steaks or a baked potato.

Great place to stay! We came with our 3 kids under 5, stayed over the summer, and enjoyed the pool/hot tub/sauna, restaurant, and the overall beauty of the grounds. Only minor negatives were someone obviously smoked in our room prior to us arriving, there were ants in the room (not 1 .like 20+), and there were a ton of bees outside on the rooms patio(I m allergic). Overall, we loved the place and wished we had time to golf while we were here.

Resort? What a disappointing dining experience - again! The restaurant needs to hire management and staff that know how to run a food service business, cooks who know how to prepare food, and (enough) experienced wait staff -- after they replace all the worn-out furnishings. In the last year, we have spent over 7 months touring Europe and North America. This business is, unfortunately, the worst example to date when going out to eat.

Very friendly staff, very accommodating with pets. Our little dog fit right in. 4 stars on the room only because the bathroom was quite tiny. The shower was a lage walk-in, which was very nice, but the door wouldn't open all the way due to no room. Had to squeeze around the door to use the toilet. However, we did book through an online service and the price was right. I highly recommend this place.

Rooms were nice and clean, staff was friendly and accommodating, Famers is always good, and we even checked out the hot tub, pool, and sauna!Returned a couple weeks later and stayed in one of the condos on the hill. So awesome and spacious!

We did not stay at the hotel. We are locals who stopped in at famers for a lunch. The menu had quite a few items to select from. And a wide variety of of entrees. Fast service and our server was friendly. The food quality was above average. But they always have been above average. The pricing does not seem unreasonable when compared to the same types of restaurants in other areas. The restaurant was clean and the restrooms were clean. We don't usually come to famers during the winter. Even though we live only, the ski crowd is always overwhelming the restaurant. We prefer the more quiet seasons.

The food at Fames is not your run of the mill fare. They had something for everyone, from appetizers to main entree. All of it was above and beyond what I would have expected. From wait staff to the visual of the food to the flavor - all of it was so delicious. I ate every last bite, and that is 100% not who I am. I never finish anything.Thank you for a great dining experience. The staff throughout our entire stay was also friendly and so.cheerful. I highly recommend this place. Oh yeah - the view is outstanding, too!!!

Clean updated resort with incredibly friendly staff. I highly recommend Pine mountain if you are looking for an affordable family friendly ski vacation. Every single staff interaction we ve had has been great. Prices are reasonable and the resort has just enough to do for everyone. We ve been coming every year for three years and this year there was confusion regarding the price from when we booked it almost 12 months ago. Leslie the front desk manager was off duty but heard and stepped in to make it right. She did an amazing job and the resort is lucky to have her!

First time here. We were looking for a quiet overnight getaway. We thought it would be comfortable and quiet--no skiing; no golf. The swimming pool was open to the community members, evidently because it was full of kids. The idea is praise worthy, but we would have liked to have been forewarned.Worse, there was NO hot water. When told the answer was to let it run for 10-15 minutes. Our conscience wouldn't allow that. The front desk offered to change rooms, but we were all settled in. So we lived with it.Also the rooms were not close to being sound proofed. Everytime the front door 'whooshed' open we could hear it and we were on the far end of the building. But the staff! Every person was VERY friendly and attempted to be accommodating. To no avail. This is only a 5 star hotel if the rating is based upon 100 stars possible.

This place is 100% dog friendly. . The front ladies were absolutely amazing. My dad went downstairs to eat leaving his grandpup in the room. She felt she needed to let everyone know that her grandpa left her all alone and she thought he'd never come back. The front lady had a complaint and she called me and was the nicest. She assured me it was ok as long as grandpa came back to ensure her that he did not infact leave her. Crisis averted. I'm glad the staff was understanding and sorry to whomever called her in. She was worried. What a beautiful resort, beautiful rooms and beautiful humans who work here. 10/10 reccomend.

I had to stay at the resort for a wedding I was standing in, I was excited for my stay despite the cost totaling $470 for 2 nights.Which is rather outrageous. I thought for that cost I was going to be getting a quality room and amenities. However, my room was tiny and was not a 2 queen bed room I had been told I was getting - they were 2 full sized beds. There was no included breakfast which they do have a restaurant on site; but again paying $235 a night when I could have gone to a quality inn for $130 a night and got a nicer room, included breakfast and the same pool. My room had a broken tv remote, the bathroom door did not close, the balcony door did not stay shut unless locked (the balcony wobbled as well when being on it), the ac did not let me adjust it, there was duct tape on the floors holding wiring down, exposed junction boxes, the front door had to be jiggled to open, and was so lopsided the light came right into our room. You have to wait 10 minutes for the water to get warm to shower. The only real amenity was free wifi and that was extremely laggy as well and two "free" bottles of water.. I did appreciate the friendliness from the staff - I am just overall disappointed in the price, quality of my room, and lack of amenities for such a steep price (that included bridal party "discount") especially with all the issues I encountered just reserving my room and getting a confirmation and total estimate/check in information.

We stayed in a house on the property which was overpriced, but it was nice to have a fire pit outside. The pool in the hotel was nice. We had a rehearsal dinner here and the food and service was subpar, but the food at the tasting a couple months before was delicious, so sadly we felt cheated.Food & drinks: Again, we were very disappointed in the food and service for our rehearsal dinner. The service at the front desk was excellent.
