Stayed here when we were on a business trip. The first thing we noticed was a moldy stale smell in the lobby. We reserved a king room . when we tried to check in, all of a sudden there were no king rooms left. The receptionist gave us a queen room. However they still made sure we paid the king room price. Once we actually got into our room our immediate reaction was disgust at how dirty it was. From dust to stains and hair all over. The bathroom was covered in some awkward brown goop on the counter area along with, brown stains and black hair in and on the sink as well as the shower. The floor wasn t swept or vacuumed and the foul smell in the lobby lingered in the room. The air conditioning was also spotty. Half the time it was cold half the time it was hot. In addition there was no coffee pot, iron, ironing board or hair dryer. The bed looked like it came out of a horror movie and was barely put together to the point that we went out and bought a comforter and blanket and slept on that. There were no shampoos or conditioner in the room. Just a lotion and facial bar. The towels were thin, hard and tiny also full of stains. in addition to all of this we couldn t even book another place because everything was booked full and it was too short notice. I m not a pest control expert but if bed bugs were anywhere they d be in this place. We unfortunately had to bite the bullet and stay anyway as I said prior we couldn t book elsewhere. If you happen to come across this place do yourself a favor and stay at another hotel. For the price, even though it was minor this place is not worth it.

Will never stay there again!! Someone(who had a key---obviously staff) entered the room at 2am....luckily one of us was awake to chase him out of the room. Then we noticed a loose ceiling tile in the bathroom, so it is possible they are recording guests in the shower. Plus, bathroom door had clearly been broken and only partially repaired. Do yourself a favor---book a room somewhere else!

To start, I have OCD. The women at the front desk was extremely friendly, professional, and handled everything extremely well. If i ran a business, I would hire her based off my small interaction. The first thing I do in a hotel is either not bring my luggage in, or I leave it over the bathroom floor, then I take the pillow cases off the pillows and removed all bedding until I can inspect the bare mattress. One pillow had five cases. Four zip ups and one regular. The others had two to four cases. That was my first weird thing. Then, the bed had a few fitted sheets. I inspected them all until I got to the mattress. I had found a few odd stains that could have been normal, but the small blood stain on the pillow and the grouping of black/brown dots on the bare mattress, also on the box spring, that was bed bug feces. The women at the front desk offered to have us look at a room upstairs, I believe room 211, or receive a refund. I chose to try a different room because I was in a hurry. After pulling back all the fitted sheets and looking at the mattress and box spring, I left. There was also grouping of black dots, bed bug feces.I have dealt with bedbugs personally in the past, I wish I had taken pictures. At the end of the day, the service was excellent. The motel needs regular pest control. They weren't the worst rooms I've ever seen, they're good for if you're in town and need a place to crash. I assume from what I saw, the infestation was only starting and someone knew about it, hence the multitude of cases on the bed and pillows. I've seen worse, and I've seen better. But I'd advise everyone to go with a chain hotel that has regular pest control.Nearby activities: Ton of hiking

Stayed 2 nights last weekend. The motel is very outdated and old appearing. Many of the hallway lights were out, and it just made the hotel look like an old dungeon. The room door lock was very loose, and the dead bolt did not work. So.etimes my card would not work. The door was unclean and may have to do with that. The room had a not pleasant odor to it, and the pillows were hard as stone. I would find a different place if I was up there again. Staff was friendly and courteous, and they offered a very modest breakfast.

Just ok, not bad but the room was smelly, no coffee makers, no fridge or hair driers in the room, the beds were pretty hard, no mattress protectors, or screens on the windows. Breakfast was gone by 8 am. The next morning the bathroom light was going on and off on its own which was very creepy. Best thing about the hotel is the staff was very nice, and the room was only $70.

Decent hotel for the price. Needs an update and a really good cleaning, like deep cleaning. Our room was very stuffy and we woke up with stuffy noses every morning until we got outside and got fresh air. We could open the window and it was beautiful outside so that helped. But you can t beat the price, and they offered a small breakfast of muffins and toast but we didn t partake in that. Stayed in worse hotels so giving 3 stars!

Very clean. Helpful staff. Had a full set of soaking wet clothes from the afternoon's whitewater rafting trip and they opened the guest laundry just for me. Had a sauna that really warmed me up. Plus the full bathtub allowed for a good hot soak. Did not use the exercise room much. But it had great equipment, free weights, tread mill, and more. Had the standard continental breakfast. Good value for.the price.

It's a decent motel. The rooms are clean, the common areas are clean, and the staff is friendly. It could use an update but you can't beat the price. It's located in a very convenient place to downtown and to the big box stores. our deadbolt didn't work so that was a little concerning. But otherwise, it's a nice place to stay for pretty cheap.

Our room was what you can expect from a hotel of it's age and budget level. It was clean in appearance, it had a comfortable bed and pillows, and it had lots of hot water in the shower...which is about all I require. The front desk staff were also very helpful; and they gave our group of touring motorcyclists some latitude and grace in regards to our evening parking lot parties. My apologies for any complaints during our stay.

Comfortable clean room at a great price. The WIFI works fine. The staff is great. If you want a full breakfast, a hot tub, great TV you won't find that here... Go pay double somewhere else. The beds are comfortable. The place is in good repair. Plenty of parking. A lot of customers are returning! Still a great place to stay 4/24.

Average at best, our bathtub was apparently not cleaned from the last customer, there was a bar of soap on the bottom of the tub. The breakfast offered was not very good.Update: Thank you for the reply. I am adding more stars for the great customer service.

Friendly front desk employees. Simple, clean well kept property. Continental breakfast is provided. One note, if traveling with much luggage or a person with physical limitations be sure to request a 1st floor room as there is no elevator. All in all a pleasant stay.

There was an empty beer can in the drawer of the bedside table & a long black hair in the bathroom towel. When I was resting on the bed in the afternoon 2 women & a male let themselves into my room without knocking. Then said they didn t know someone was assigned that room even though I had been checked in since the day before. I feel that was a breech of security and privacy. I have stayed there many times in the past and never had any problems.

Clean rooms, speedy wifi, lots of Veterans transition through here while breakfast is open apparently, cozy heated bathrooms, full thermostat control, uncomfortable pillows, and complementary signals and excercise room as well as guest Laundry to boot. Plenty of parking space and proximity to convenience stores, gas and food makes this a pretty solid place.

This place is GREAT! You never know when you're booking online, sight unseen, so I wasn't sure what to expect. On the outside it looks like a simple place, but when I walked in to check in their night time desk clerk was warm and welcoming, charming and accommodating! Check in was super speedy. When I walked into the room it was clean (I scrutinize as soon as I arrive) and it smelled like fresh air and new carpet! Pleasantly surprised immediately. They have a sauna, and exercise area that looked nice (didn't try it out). I had some delays in town and the staff was helpful and pleasant for our entire stay. A++ If you're looking for a inexpensive, clean, and friendly place stay here for sure! Thanks for everything, we will be back again!

The staff was very friendly and were able to accommodate our request for a first floor room without much difficulty. The rooms are a bit dated, but are clean and spacious.Breakfast was a bit of disappointment. The space is nice and light, but the selection of breakfast fare was very limited. I had a waffle and my wife had an English muffin. We prefer to have something with a little protein when we are riding our motorcycle, but there was nothing of that ilk to be had.

I stayed at the MHMI a couple weeks ago. From the minute I walked in you could feel how warm and welcoming the interior was but most of all the friendly acknowledgement from Sunny, owner/GM.I did not have a reservation and was also traveling with another couple who were unable to make it up to the second floor rooms. Sunny in no time made some changes and had a room for them that was perfect to go in and out of the hotel without issue. From there we all went to our rooms to be equally impressed with the cleanliness of the property. I read reviews and that was one of the comments made about the hotel, I have to say they were accurate. The rooms were comfortable, good Wi-Fi and lots of channels on the TV. Shower pressure was quite good although the towels were a bit small and rough. The rooms were quiet and dark and the bed for me was very comfortable.I didn't have time to try the breakfast but did see Sunny on my way out and share my comments. To my surprise he is beginning to work on renovating the hotel in the coming year. I should say if he is going to improve on what's there now, it will be a grand hotel to stay at.All the best,Jeff

She cares about her customers and makes a difference.I stay here for 1 week every summer to visit my mother-in-law. The breakfast is excellent. The customer service is the best in area led by CONNIE. Easy to get in and out. The housekeepers are outstanding too. They really want the customer to have a positive experience. Everything is perfect!Give this motel a chance. You will be glad you did.
