The experience was fantastic. I knew I would be dropping my car off and had plans on walking 3 miles home. The weather wasn t bad, but it wasn t really good either. I was offered a ride home and they were willing to come and get me to pick up the car the next day. It made the experience much more enjoyable. The ordered part was obtained and installed as planned. I highly recommend Geldhof Tire and Auto. They did me right as they have been doing for approximately 2 1/2 decades. Thank you.

The guys at the front counter are very helpful. When I call with any issues or to schedule general routine maintenance I can typically get scheduled within a short time. I try to call a few days ahead and schedule for my day off. When we have unexpected issues we can leave the vehicle and they fit it in usually within a day or two. Pricing is comparable to Grand Rapids dealerships but with local convenience.

I just recently moved from Grand Rapids To Ionia. I support small shops and want them to stay in business for as long as possible. I recently went here last week and today to get tires put on. They were quick with the job. Friendly with the whole experience and the prices were great. Thanks again and would highly recommend

Having had a couple issues with my car lately I called geldof's and was given an appointment right away, being by myself it seems good to have a place that will take good care of me and my car. Geldof I appreciate it very much, you're always very courteous, and reasonable. Thanks!

Spent over $1500 to fix a "Reduce power mode" message. Didn't work. Ordered a GM throttle body and installed it my self. Fixed ! I won't be back

It was suggested that I take my car here to find out what was wrong with it. I know that other previous customers have never been charged for diagnosis, yet not only did they charge me $44 to look at it, but their estimate of costs to fix it was the most expensive of all the places I called. If the cost to look at it is a new thing, then shouldn t I have been informed of the charge when I called to bring it in?! I would think so. Not once was I told until after it was looked at. Won t be using them in the future and hope others realize the same.

DONT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE.Another update after replacing my water pump and having my car towed right back to the shop. Because it died. stating my head gasket was blown 3700$. Just Wow they worked on my car told me it was good to go.Road tested as they said.My car died 10 miles away on my way to get my wife and daughter.My car will not start but they replaced the water pump and said it was good to go.What a jokeOwner called me last week to try and make it right funny it going to cost me 3700$ for this owner to make it right for me.....The only reason I'm giving a 1 star is purely over the OVERPRICED work.They charged 219$ for a 112$ from the dealership part. A water pump to be exact. That's absurd plain and simple.Not to mention for 2.5 total hours of work on my car was charged 274$ that's more than 100$ an hour. I'm never going to this place again. Ever. PERIOD.the work is done it's a water pump. Good or bad is not something that can be rated.(Side note for the mechanic and the person taking the information at the front desk maybe write the notes down)My gear shifter had soda spilled on it so the plastic slides that move with the shifter stick get stuck every now and again. Simple fix when it catches push the plastic down so it doesn't catch.The mechanic didn't even care enough to notice the center plastics of my gear shifter coming out stopping the car from actually going into park. Thanks guys... Wow sitting in my car writing this my car is now shaking in park and rocking absolutely ignorant. Worst mechanic in Ionia.

Although maintaining a vehicle is not cheap. I feel they were fair on pricing. Also when they did the inspection they didn t have any future repairs listed which tells me they are being sincere about the work done. They could have said I needed new breaks or struts just to get more money. I will be using them for my future auto needs! Thank you!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection

The only place I know that will have your vehicle for 2 months and not even look at it and when you call to check to see when your vehicle will be done they want to get an attitude with you because they haven't got to your vehicle cuz they've been putting it off. I can honestly say they're not real mechanics they're just technicians because when you have an older model vehicle and you don't have a scan port your vehicle gets put dead last cause they don't have a slightest clue about old fashioned mechanic knowledge. Not to mention, I brought my vehicles to them before, and I can say the work was overpriced and didn't even fix the problem.

Had an unexpected flat tire, couldn't be fixed, 4 Wheel Dr. vehicle, and had to replace all four tires but they managed to find a way to make it work! And did it all in one afternoon!
