Went here for the first time today and I am one super happy customer. Went somewhere else that told me I needed $8,0000 worth of work done. Was recommended to come see Andy and am so glad I did, the only thing wrong with my car was brakes. Happy to have finally found an honest mechanic and will definitely be using him from now on.

Andy is the owner and he is a very nice man. There aren't many left like Andy, honest! I will tell you that much.I also have to tell you his look reminds me of Papa Geppetto.He was very up-front and honest with us about my daughter's van. We knew the problem and he confirmed it and he also let us know everything else we needed to know up-front including the worst-case scenario on the cost (let's be honest she needed to fix it to last just a few more months) so hopefully, with the great repairs Andy's shop did it will.I would most definitely recommend Autoway Repair to anyone in need of repairs and at FAIR PRICES.Thank you, Andy, we will recommend your shop to everyone. Didn't give 5 stars because I didn't want to seem like a bot but very nice and honest man working here and would recommend to anyone that has any issues with their vehicle quick and honest work for a good price honest to God can't beat it

Twice Andy saved my car - first my catalytic converter was stolen, but he could get me in right away. Andy showed me the hole where it used to be and could get the part and install it quick. The cost was insanely reasonable, and he explained the process patiently and knowledgeably.Second time I stalled at an intersection close to his shop, and I remembered his help. My car had to be towed on a Sunday night! But I emailed the shop, and Andy could still get me through that Monday (which was lucky since there were cars ahead of me).I am very thankful. This place does a great job for a good price, Andy's a kind man and treats his costumers very well, and I'd recommend it anytime.

TERRIBLE SERVICE I brought my car for a water pump and was told the issue was a head gasket or engine problem and he does not do that type of work .! I drive directly down the SAME STREET had my water replaced and was back driving normal 1 hour later I will NEVER recommend Andy or trust him with any vehicle I own

I would definitely recommend this place. Their customer service is excellent, charged me for the price they said over the phone. My brakes were fix in less than 3 hours. Had no issues whatsoever. Very genuine and caring business.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Always do a good job and are very reasonably priced. I've been going there for repairs for a while.*update-as usual they took very good care of me. I called panicking about my car. I was told to bring it in but I probably have to wait until the next day. A couple, hours later..my car was repaired and for a very good price! Thank you! I recommend this shop to everyone!

My vehicle was running extremely loud. Owner ran an engine diagnostic & told me no problem noted. Family/friends who also heard the noisy engine told me not to drive my car until I got a 2nd opinion. Issue was a damaged alternator belt, top idle and pulley needed. All replaced by another shop and car running fine. I was prepared to leave it at Autoway, but was sent on my way. Scared to death as a senior citizen.

My brakes started grinding suddenly, so I went to my oil change place to have them repaired. They no longer do breaks, so they referred me to this place. I went expecting the worst. I expected to suddenly need a slew of things repaired with an astronomical price. I went at 11:30 and a man named Andy took his time to explain things to me in terms that I could understand and offered an incredibly reasonable price. I was back in my car and it was working perfectly at 3:00pm. I felt I d hit the lottery. I will NEVER use another auto mechanic. If you have any issues, go see Andy at Autoway. I would give Andy at Autoway a 10 plus rating I been going to him for over 10 years and he is the best. Andy is professional, honest and the best mechanic you could ever find. if you would try him once I promise you would have a great mechanic for life It is hard to find an honest and trustworthy mechanic and Andy is a gem in his field. Complete & honest car care. Andy is very thorough and knowledgeable about car repairs. Reasonably priced and fast turnaround. I've been taking my vehicles here for years & referring everyone I know. Hands down, I will never allow anyone else to work on my vehicles unless Andy suggests otherwise. I'll give more stars if I could.

I been serviced by Andy (the owner of Autoway) for ten plus years now he is a great mechanic very fast prompt and honest. I recommend anyone who is looking for a MECHANIC to give him a call and stop by his shop. As long as I am in the State of Michigan he will be the only one to service me. Andy was amazing, he had my car ready in 30 minutes from the time of arrival. I have a Terrian truck, and it was loud. Once Andy was finished, there was no more noise. He even test drove my car to check out my brakes. Andy has a customer for life. Thank you. Not expensive and honest. Highly recommend this shop, it's located in Inkster.Service: Exhaust

This place is simply awesome! I have been taking my vehicle to them for over 5 years now. They are very fair and honest in regards to what type of service your vehicle needs. If you don't need the work, they will be honest and tell you that you don't need it. Most places will take advantage of you just to get your money and add on additional repairs just so they can get the extra money. The integrity of this place is great! I want to recognize the young guy who works the front counter. He is very professional and communicates effectively with the customers. He is very knowledgeable and relates the problems with your vehicle in a professional manner. He provides great customer service which is a big plus in my book. Every time I drive off their lot, my car feels brand new like I just bought it again! I recommend to anyone to take their vehicle to this establishment. You will not be disappointed!

Andy has helped me out with three vehicles now. Great work, great turnaround time (same day for all my visits!), And the best price around. These guys are great. They did my breaks. The price was reasonable and the service was to notch.I had some issues with my battery, during the breaks being done, and they went above and beyond to get me heading in the right direction. They got me charged up, and offered me a warm place, from the cold. They also gave me cost saving tips that would help the life of my car, without price gouging me in the process!Finding quality car care, without being taken advantage of is tough, but I will be returning when my car needs future work.

I've always been skeptical about mechanics. Upselling, overcharging, or wrong diagnosis. I just started going to Autoway. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and above all, honest. Hands down the best place to take your vehicle for repairs. I've spent a good amount of money here and never have j felt ripped off. Fred is the man and they will get your vehicle where it needs to be. Honest work. Generous prices. I will be returning here permanently. It's worth my 30 min drive! 5 stars!

Engine diagnostic showed sensor replacement as #1 possible issue, with engine repair/replacement as #3. Owner suggested taking to dealer vs his sensor install. I followed his suggestion. My car needed new engine which was replaced for free under extended warranty. Honest. I have been taking my vehicles to Autoway Repair since 2006. I have never had a problem with getting prompt service and experienced car care. I know that when I drive my vehicle off the lot I'm safe. Andy and his son look out for you like family. One day he gave me and my husband some of his on lunch that his wife had prepared for him. Great shop to take care of your automobile repairs!

I absolutely loved the sevice!They did a great job on my jeep today. I had back end work done the prices weren't bad and fast severice. I was so happy I didn't have to leave my car overnight. they even showed me the parts that they took off of my car and they were bad I'm so thankful to them and they are now going to be my new mechanics!Service: Brakes

Freddie and Andy are very professional and courteous mechanics. They both deserve 5 stars. I will be a life long customer because of how pleasant my experience was at their establishment. They make sure you understand what is wrong with your car and how to prevent it from happening again. Thank you very much for everything. Autoway is easiest the BEST auto repair shop I ve ever been to. Really working, friendly crew...Fred is awesome!And I really appreciate the great honest, helpful recommendations from the crew when checking out my car before in the past and they offer really great straightforward & reasonable prices that are easily explained without trying to talk down to customers (something that I RARELY see at other places!!).I ve been going here for years, with my own car, my wife s car and even my mom s ride, and I strongly recommend checking out Autoway for a great friendly crew & nice reasonable prices for really good work!

I am thoroughly impressed with the work Andy performed, I went in there and my car was rattling making all kinds of noise and completely unstable on the road, and he replaced my struts and springs and rear shocks had my work done all in the same day and back on the road. The team at Autoway Repair are awesome. The staff are always friendly and constant professionals. My wife and I have been taking our vehicles there for years. We moved downriver but we still only trust Autoway with our car repairs. They do honest good work.
