Can t recommend enough!! I m not from the area and my tire blew on the freeway. I was recommended to go here and I m so glad I was. They towed my car here and got me in right away no questions asked. The whole process took no longer than 20 minutes. Definitely felt like a family run business as well. Definitely would choose again if I lived here!

My truck started having trouble on the way up north November 13 to go hunting and I stopped in here. They got me fixed up in an hour at a VERY reasonable price. I couldn t recommend them more.

This is, BY FAR, the best repair shop I have ever been to! I was just driving through and seemed to have an issue with my vehicle. I stopped at the marathon and asked the worker (who was very polite and helpful) where he thought would be the best place for me to take the car and find out the problems. They came to me for the initial diagnosis and then they checked every inch of the vehicle to insure it was going to be safe for me to use. They were the nicest people I have ever met in my entire life. No one seemed bothered that it was potentially going to make them stay at work late. They were extremely helpful and very gracious. They actually cared. It s mind blowing. My hope for humanity has officially be restored.When it was all said and done, there were some issues but nothing I couldn t wait to take care of when I got home.I 1million percent recommend this place!!Thank you to all of you guys that helped make sure everything was ok. I m so grateful!

We had a leak in our tire while on the road traveling during our big family camping trip. Carl took time to come check out the tire and call down the street because he didn't have any open bays. Super appreciative, such a nice guy and helped us out tremendously!

Excellent service!!! Highly recommend! Had emergency stop with our camper. (tire blew out) The Manager "Andrew" and the employee that worked on our camper, were professional, knowledgable and sooo quick! Just wanted to let everyone know that this is a great place to take your car to get it fixed.We had a most pleasant experience..will fill you in a bit..we had gone to Mackinaw last weekend, and on the way back to St. Clair Shores, MI, we ran over something while exiting exit #310..,it was raining, also, our auto club sent someone out to change the tire..our "spare" was a "donut ", and having at least another 300 miles to go, 3 people suggested we go to Pollard's Auto Repair and Service.. the owner had a tire shipped out of Gaylord, for us..we had to wait a while, but we're so appreciative.A wonderful family owned and run business. We were back on the road after the tire was put on our car.We can't thank them enough for their hospitality, and wonderful customer service.Anyone in the Indian River area, ( or otherwise ), do NOT hesitate to give them your business..you will not be disappointed.Thank God that there are honest people out there, that are so very kindAppreciatively yours, Rick and Carolyn Webster..Service: Auto tire replacement

I needed a oil change and they got me right in. The guys were friendly and thorough. Oil change was a out $10 more than what I usually pay but the convenience and quick service made up for it!

Stopped in on our way to the UP with an engine light that came on on our truck. Gentleman came out immediately with their scanner and within a couple of minutes told us the issue. Very friendly and knowledgeable!!

My car completely died due to a bad connection. The tow truck driver called over to Pollard's and they said they could take a look. They squeezed me in immediately, found the problem, went and got the part from a dealership in Cheboygan and finished the job an hour ahead of their estimate. Costs were reasonable, and the service and friendliness was above and beyond. Impressed and thankful.

Had a tire leaking air on our car during a road trip. drove past their place, asked if they patched tires. Answer was not only yes, but after quickly checking with staff, was "would you like us to do it right now?" They found the problem within 30 seconds, and had it patched up and ready to go in under 20 minutes (granted, this was somewhat contingent on staff availability and timing, but still!) for around $20. Tire repair made the long trip back to Middle Tennessee no problem. In addition overall great customer experience and very friendly and professional interactions with all staff. Would recommend this place to anyone. (service was performed end of July 2022)Service: Tires

Great company, I ve gotten oil changed and new tires here on 2 separate visits to my mom in Indian River before the long 11 hour 1100 mile trip back to Nashville. Fair prices when checked vs Wally World but so much more convent. Nice folks not trying to ripOff a visitor.

Best mechanic in Emmet/Cheboygan counties. I like Pollards because it's a perfect balance of speed, value, and quality service. It's hard to trust most mechanics. Rest assured Carl will get you taken care of right whether you drive a Bentley or a Nissan. I've taken several vehicles of different years and models here and I've never been disappointed.

I had a wonderful experience at Pollard s when I needed to have my car towed there. Carl and his family were incredibly kind and helpful. They were willing to go above and beyond to get me where I needed to be. The facilities are clean and the waiting area is very welcoming. They even have two adorable golden doodles! I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking auto advice/repairs.

Indian River is fortunate to have a service center of this quality in the village. Pollard's is far and away the best service center I have ever used. They are honest, efficient, more than fair on pricing and they consistently go the extra mile to work with their customers' schedules. Over the years typically I will get my car back sooner than expected and the charges have been at or less than the estimate. I would give Carl and his crew the highest recommendations.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Brakes, Oil change

Went into Pollard's today with a tire that was low, and Carl jumped into action, checked the tire, checked the stem and said I was good to go. Wouldn't take any money. My family and I were on our way home from the upper peninsula to Ann Arbor when our check engine light started flashing. We called every mechanic and they were all booked. Pollards squeezed us in between 2 jobs they were working on and got us up and running in an hour! Their customer service was great and they really helped us out! Made appointment for March 1 to get alignment, tire rotation and oil change, recieved a call that more was needed *I figured but was hopeful that it might be simple at first*, owner got right back ahold of me stating they had the parts in stock and fixed my old car after they made sure to confirm and communicate the whole way through. I got dropped off after work to settle up, and he went over everything very clearly and consise. Cannot reccomend enough!

They were a lifesaver Carl was awesome We had trouble with camper tires far from home and Carl was able to get us new tires and even offered to let me borrow his suburban to haul my family around while my tires were being changed he said it might take a minute we're not NASCAR but my huge camper wouldn't even fit in his garage him and his team changed all four tires in the parking lot under an hour. I would give more than five stars but that's all they let me. They got me and my family home safe very trustworthy and very nice people! Twice in the past 2 years my friends and I have had an issue on the expressway & drove in unannounced and the staff is awesome. Amazingly helpful with tips & tricks(once they taped my window up for free when the door motor quit in the winter!). If you're in a pinch you may have to step in line but they are happy to help!

My family has lived in I.R. since 2014 and I've taken both our vehicles to Pollards for oil changes because they are trustworthy and do an excellent job. I've never had a problem with their work and quality. However, they started charging a service fee for using a credit or debit card this April 2017. I didn't see the posted notices and found out the hard way. I was charged 2 bucks for the privilege of taking 63 more dollars of mine for an oil change. I called the manager to inquire about it and he said unfortunately that's what they have to do now because "we end up paying everyone's airline tickets at the end of the year." He then thanked me and hung up. I interpret this to mean the credit card companies are charging them fees for usage at their businesses and the business is passing that charge onto me, which I don't necessarily appreciate. I would recommend Pollards for vehicle work or maintenance based on quality and trustworthiness but I will not go back and be screwed out of even more of my money.

We were stranded at Burt Lake campground. Our Truck was hooked up to our 5th wheel so we could leave. Truck wouldn't start. Called Pollard's Service Center. Carl Pollard came to our rescue immediately when we called him. He towed truck to his facility. And had another vehicle tow our 5th wheel because we had to be off our lot. His garage staff was extremely helpful. They solved our problem and had us back on the road in a couple hours. We can't say enough about Carl's professionalism, helpfulness, and his service staff. Everyone was extremely helpful. Would recommend his garage to anyone.

We had a seat belt issue travelling down I-75, no where near home or our destination. We stopped here and the man in charge (did not get his name-I think it may be Andy) came out and fixed it immediately and would not charge us or take any form of payment as gratitude. Very nice!

We were on our way home to Chicago when out car broke down. I called Pollards to see if they could work on our BMW. They reassured us that they would be able to and towed our car to their shop.The family owned business did an amazing job updating us while we waited in their cozy waiting room.We needed to stay overnight due to the time we got into the shop. They drove us the the hotel and offered us a ride to get a bite to eat and a ride back to pick up our car.Pollards fixed everything at a very fair rate.We felt like family by the time we left.
