Made a phone call to Imlay City Ford after problems with my current dealership and had the pleasure of Tammie Bishop picking up she had such a warm spirit and pleasant decided it was a great place to take my business. From the phone call to picking up my vehicle was a great experience thanks to Tammie Bishop and the Imlay Ford staff.

Great place and very good prices for new and used cars. Ask for Nicole!!Amazing experience right at the start, I was welcomed in by staff and helped by Nicole. Nicole showed me the vehicles I was interested in and even helped me get the best deal I could on the new truck. She communicated every step of the way and got me on the road in my new truck as soon as possible.

Always a pleasant experience at Imlay City Ford whether I m purchasing or servicing a vehicle. Friendly and competent service department that keeps you in informed, answers questions and is responsive to concerns. Great all around dealership!

I this lot seems shady when it comes to financing. Came to an agreement on the price only to be told they do not accept my financing from navy federal. Which is. Check/voucher ..payment would be released as soon as the lot confirms info with them. The finance manager tells me that s been their policy for a few years due to having issues in the past. Not sure how getting payment in the form of a check/voucher is causing issues when you shouldn t release a vehicle until payment is verified. Instead they strongly tried to get me to finance through them or even use ford easy credit then refinancing through my preferred institution resulting in 2 more credit hits.

Traded my vehicle in for a new lease. Called and spoke with Cheri who answered all my questions before I made the drive in. Cheri was amazing to work with, so nice and everything went very smoothly. Mike in finance was also amazing to work with, very nice and professional and no high pressure sales for add-ons. Drove the extra distance to this dealership for a more reputable experience and that is exactly what I got. Would highly recommend if you are in the market for a new or used vehicle.

Will never recommend this used car dealership. Went in looking at 2016 Ford Explorer with a nice cash down payment for a 13K vehicle. Dan the salesman didn t even try to get me approved - came in Saturday with a co-signer instead of giving my business to another rep knowing how badly I needed a vehicle told me I needed to wait 45 mins. So, I went to the dealership in Lake Orion on Wednesday got approved and drove off the lot!added: my credit was pulled and don t even try to see who would accept me. so, Dan didn t even try to get his best shot - I was trying to support local before going out of the city.

My sales person Mike was amazing. I had just had my car totaled. They help me get in to a new Bronco sport. They went above and beyond to help me! Best part was that Mike work around my schedule to get my new Bronco asap.

Mike in the service department went above and beyond for me when I booked my service appointment. Imlay city ford offered me a rental at no cost while my vehicle was being serviced for a serious issue getting fixed. I will always service my vehicles through them from here on out. From appointment to pick up after service I was always updated with progress and treated with the best customer service, being in the automotive industry I can say that their service department stands to the highest standards compared to many dealerships local and around the country.

Bought a ford edge here. They know what they re doing and don t sell lemons. I ve had the car for 7 k miles, bought it a month ago and I couldn t be happier.Forgot the lady s name but they know what they re doing and don t try to rip you off. It s better to drive a bit and know you re getting a good deal.

The salesman was nice. I do not like theSet up of the screen to confusing for people who are not tech smart.For leasing you should get more milage without paying more. 10,000 is not very much, you should at least get 12,000.I am not sure but I think I got charged to much for a demo with also having my grandson discount who works for FordI also put a little bit of money down. $550.00 is a pretty big payment. I should have walked away and got the Chevy equinox with a cheaper payment.We had that before I got the edge and we liked that just fine. Just thought I would give this a try. Besides that it is not gas friendly. It is comfortable.

I was not at all happy with Imaly City Ford. I went there and purchased a used Vehicle from them only to have the engine light come on within 24 hours. Took it back to have it checked out and find out it has a cracked engine block. Then end up getting a used motor because they supposedly couldn't get a new one until March of 2024. Then they don't even give you any documentation of how many miles are on the used motor they put in your vehicle. Makes it kind of hard if you wanted to sell it later on to tell purchaser what the mileage is. It took 2 months for them to get my car back to me and now it has transmission problems. I bought my car in August of this year but didn't get it back until October. And at some point will have to have the transmission done. I would not recommend buying a used car from them because evidently they have no problem selling you a car that has major issues. I would have given no stars but since that wasn't an option I had to give one. I am one VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER!!!

This was the best dealer expirience I've ever had.I bought a 2022 Ford Escape from Dan on the pre-owned side. It was easy and comfortable, I'll be back for sure.

From used car sales to the service department all the people I worked with have been exceptional! Trevor in the service department has been absolutely fantastic and easy to work with. Even the loaner department ladies were so efficient and knowledgeable with everything.

I needed to get my vehicle in for service and Dave D made the process effortless. I got my truck back a day earlier than expected and everyone was very friendly and helpful throughout the whole process . This was my first time at Imlay City Ford and I will be back .

Service department is great to deal which is a good thing because you will see them alot if you buy a used car from here. However the sales side does nothing for you once you purchase a vehicle. I bought a car that is definitely a lemon it has been physically in there shop for repair 3 of the 8 months I have owned it. And the only options they gave me was me buying an extended warranty from them or giving me 6K less then I paid for it towards another one of their cars.

I am very happy with the whole service department . From start to finish, will not hesitate to bring all my Ford vehicles to Imlay city Ford. I am buying my next car from this dealership.. Jusr for that reason.

Integrity, honesty, great communication and good value for services provided define my experiences with Imlay City Ford. When they fix a problem it stays fixed. I used the word Integrity because twice I was advised by other service providers that I needed immediate work done on my truck lest it break down on the way home. Imlay City Ford looked at the first alleged problem, and found nothing. The next time, another provider told me that I needed $1,000+ in transmission repairs; Imlay City Ford remedied the problem with a simple adjustment for $150. I trust them.

I had a great experience from start to finish. Tim Young made the whole experience painless, which speaks very highly as I was dealing with some family issues at the time and he was still very patient and professional. I absolutely love the truck, and every member of the staff at Imlay City Ford that I dealt with was absolutely fantastic. I couldn t be happier!

The Customer Service with in this dealership is beyond awful. Scheduled a repair for Transmission work on warranty told 2-3 weeks to get in never received any calls always had to call dealer multiple times to be told lies by Trevor oh we looked at it and ordered parts that was never even inspected yet or parts ordered. Then spoke with David the service manager promised calls as well and never called once either, so then drove to dealer to find out what is happening to be told by David we need an engineer to come out and that will be 3 months with very little to no care at all. Very horrible customer service with zero care....

Terrible experience with this company. Had everything set to purchase a vehicle- even had insurance on the vehicle- then they sold it from underneath us. Unprofessional and won t do business here again. Will also encourage everyone I know to do business elsewhere.

Dale is a great guy. Best salesman I've ever delta with. We came with our own financing but the lady didn't like that, she strongarmed us into using her preferd lender after she stated the would not accept msu. They must get a kick back. If it wasn't for Dale we would have walked out
