We highly recommend Don's auto repair! Our Mechanic moved so we had too find somewhere new to go. I am so happy we took our car to Dons auto. They fixed my car within two days, they're Very professional they know their stuff and more then fair in prices. Their just awesome! Very disreputable and deceiving! To make matters worse these back yard hacks can't even fix their own receptionists vehicle! Their professional fix was to have her buy a code scanner to just continuously clear the codes that keep coming up from their lack of ability to fix said issue! Definitely won't be returning or recommending to anyone for any reason!

I really wanted to like this place but after they replaced my caliper, my brakes locked up on the freeway because they forgot to put one of my caliper bracket bolts back in. Then refused to pay for the tow back to their shop. I even have the reciept from them stating that they had replaced the caliper on the same side the bolt was missing on. The fact that they can not own up to their mistake and then lie on this review is pretty unprofessional.

Be very careful here. Nice, knowledgable, but after l approved some work to be done, & it couldn't be completed, I left my car over night. The next morning I recieved a phone call & the rear windshield was literally in a thousand little pieces. The car is now in my drive way - no work completed & now it requires a windshield. They left me hangin', & appologies do not get you back on the road. I will not go back, be careful or you may not either.

I called many places to have my brake lines done. Don's was by far the best price, which made me skeptical. I decided to go with them anyways and I was not disappointed. I have a hectic work schedule and they were able to work around it. They got the job done in 2 days! Great service, great price.

Good prices, good work, and most importantly HONEST. I've taken our vehicles there for several years now even though it's half-hour away from me because I know Don will do right by me. Thank you!!

Very nice ppl. They got the job done for cheaper than expected too!! It did take longer than I anticipated but was kind of a big job.... I would recommend this place for car repairs. Great job guy's!!

Excellent auto repair shop in Imlay City! Genuine and honest guys. Father and son owned -- both great guys, very honest, nice, reputable, and run a great shop (with quality work). My family and I have had our cars repaired here (brake jobs, belts, transmissions, etc.) over the years all without issue. Sometimes we've taken our cars here thinking something was wrong with whatever, only later to have them say 'We checked it out, all looks good and we didnt find anything wrong with that' (which i'd later find out to be true, since the issue went away on its own). I think that's just indicative of their honesty.Would highly suggest these guys for any auto repairs/anything you may need done on your car!

My car broke down Monday night just outside of Imlay City. I had the vehicle towed Tuesday morning to Don's. The same day they let me know my timing chain broke and the repair would take as long as Friday. They actually completed the work on Wednesday afternoon. Fast service, excellent work and very dair price. Thanks guys.

Don could have taken me for a high cost ride and didn't. He found a much cheaper fix and was honest with me about it. Strongly recommend him. Very honest and I believe trustable.

Took a car I was looking to buy there so it could be inspected, not only were they quick, they were very honest and pointed out EVERY red flag they found. Best service I think I've ever had!

Took my jeep here to get the broken drive shaft fixed... Less than 24 hours later it was ready to be picked up...

Had to get my daughter's car fixed and didn't have time to wait to get it in, they were able to get it in the following day, was $300 less than the Chevy dealer, $160 less than where I usually went, and the work was completed earlier than they quoted.
