I called in the afternoon they got my truck in the shop within a few minutes, gave me a quote and within 45 minutes had the repair work done. It was a new oxygen sensor. The total for the job was $98. Other big shops in the area would ve charged me at least $35 for the computer diagnosis for which they didn t charge me.

Hello, Just thought I would refresh your memory of the 2009 Dodge truck that was said to never had work done at your establishment. Many oil changes and this attached invoice, where you replaced the muffler and the truck left louder. Just wanted the one you took off to quiet my truck. They were very kind and were able to replace my muffler quickly. It was over $100 cheaper than a quote from another repair shop.

I have had a lot of work done at this shop with a few different vehicles. The mufflers on both of my vehicles were done right. The staff is nice and know what they re doing. I have went to multiple mechanics shops in Hudsonville and either there booked out weeks on end or can t seem to do a good job. Muffler man is Hudsonville does great work and the quality is there. There prices are great as well. If you need legit mechanics Muffler Man with take care of you.

Terrible service... The woman behind the counter has no idea about what she is talking about..The head guy goes and uses the bathroom for 45 min and leaving the custome standing...Will never go back! It is no wonder that parking lot is always empty...

Young guys didn't care about doing right, used the wrong oil , blew my engine up. After dealing with these west Michigan mechanics, I gave up and bought a bike! Holland muffler did me great when I owned a vehicle. Only place! I hope they remember a red 2000 Ford F-150 . I had to scrap it because of hudsonville muffler man.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

The mechanics were awesome, it's the front desk staff that's the issue. Her name is Nicole and she was very short tempered and extremely rude! Im shocked you have someone like that working your front desk. Not a good look for your company. She is the reason we will never use this place again! Thank you!Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

Very friendly fast service. It's first come first service so you take a chance with time. I dropped my vehicle off and they called me after they diagnosed what was needed. I received a call approximately an hour after the work was complete. I'm very satisfied with the work so far.***The only negative I'd have (would be 5 stars) The facility could use an update to a more modern waiting area for customers. Things are a little outdated.

I was moving my daughter from GVSU back home to Chicago. Long story short my truck broke down late Friday night. I called places on Saturday morning in the area that were open there were only three. The first two said they could get to me by Wednesday. When I called the third place Muffler Man they told no problem bring it in first come first served. I got there they gave me a quote and did the repairs in a few hours. ( driver side ball joint & rotor) When they gave me the bill it was less than what they quoted. The service and staff were friendly and very professional. I was in a bind they could have charged me anything they wanted but they didn't they were fair and honest. I would go there for all my service if they were closer to where I live. Again thanks for the great serviceService: General repairs & maintenance

Muffler man is first come first served . They have excellent service fair prices, an don't charge $90. To drive thru the door.Adam by far goes out of the way to explain repairs an then get the job done right the first time..

Brought my truck in for a few things after my last mechanic was booked and pricey all the time , they did an amazing job , they even called when they found other stuff wrong but where not pushy to get the extra money out of it , will definitely be back for my vehicle needs

I have taken cars here a few times. The first few times I came, they did a fine job, nothing special, not great customer service, but good enough for what I needed. But the last time I took my car there it was a disaster! I needed my muffler repaired, but due to the expensive price they quoted us, we decided to go a different route. So, we came to pick my car up and it was sitting outside with my sun roof wide open - in the middle of winter! We asked them about it, and they blamed that on us. Then, I noticed my trunk-open light was on, and so went to try and close it and it wouldn't latch - a piece of the latch had been broken off. So we asked them about it and they said they wouldn't have had to go into the trunk for anything, so this was our fault too. Then, one of the technicians came by and said he did have to go into the trunk for something, but the manager still didn't want to do anything about it. After a while of talking to him, we finally got him to fix at least the trunk latch, so he brought the car into the shop and proceeded to jam the trunk shut, so that now it wouldn't open and told us it was fixed! All the while, the technicians were all just standing around smoking. We finally gave up, and brought the car somewhere else. We are sad we had such a bad experience since they've never given us a problem before and we live nice and close, so they would have gotten a lot of our business!

We drove to MI from another state and our muffler broke. It was the end of the day (a Saturday) and they were able to squeeze us in at the last minute. The mechanic did a great job and the price was very reasonable. We are very grateful! Thank you!

You're not going to be impressed with the cleanliness of any portion of this facility, and the staff members may seem a bit rough around the edges. However, these are some honest and very hard working folks, and they have saved my family and I a great deal of money from what dealers and other auto repair shops quoted us for repairs. Honestly, I think their diagnostic abilities have a few limitations, but for the general wrench turning work (brakes, exhaust, shocks & struts, radiator, water pump, assorted sensors, oil changes, etc.), these guys will do whatever it takes to get the job done right, and will not require the sale of a kidney in order to pay the bill. If you want a fancy lobby and waiting area, then go to a dealership. If you want your car or truck fixed quickly for an honest price, then the crew at the Hudsonville Muffler Man have you covered.

They have always been friendly to me. All of the staff. Adam, the manager, is wonderful. He has always been up front. I never felt stupid when I asked a question. The whole crew is great. Adam has been honest and will tell you if something is worth to fix, which is nice since I have an older vehicle. Thank you Adam and crew and the includes you Nicole even when you are not there but at school.

I would NOT recommend anyone go to this business to have their vehicle repaired. Spent nearly $900 to have our air conditioning fixed in our van. The air conditioning still does not work, but they gladly took our money. They made excuses for why it still isn t working, but at the end of the day we are out nearly $900 and still have no air conditioning during a very hot summer with 4 small children and a wife who is 8 months pregnant. EXTREMELY dissatisfied with their service and will never return. Please don t waste your time or money with this business. There are numerous auto repair companies around, might as well go to one where a good and honest job will actually be done for you.

Place is a joke. I had my oil changed there and when I got home noticed a puddle of oil under my vehicle. Crawled underneath and the drain bolt was so loose I could tighten it by hand. I gave them a second chance only for them to try and screw me out of a bunch of money telling me I needed a lot of things replaced on my vehicle when it didn't. Luckily, I knew that prior to dropping it off and am somewhat mechanically inclined, but those who aren't THEY WILL TRY TO TELL YOU NEED TO REPLACE THINGS when actually they are perfectly fine... I wouldn't trust these guys to fill up my gas tank.

I recently had my oil changed here and asked for the full-service which was advertised for $19. When my car was finished, I was presented with a bill for $23. They told me my car needed a "special" filter which cost more. I have owned this car for over seven years and have never been charged extra for a filter, my filter is very common. Their oil changes are advertised as very cheap- but be warned! There are "hidden" charges!

I have taken my 99 Dodge Ram 1500 truck here and Adam and his staff done and exceptional job and fixed everything that needed to be fixed. I took my truck to muffler man with a bad exhaust leak and Adam told me they had to put a new part on because the old one was no good. The new part cost 459.00 and it would cost me 637.00. They repaired it and 1 year and 10 months later, another exhaust leak. I called muffler man to see if they would stand behind it and they said no because the warranty ran out. I took my truck to my mechanic and he told me that whoever installed that part stripped one of the 3 bolts that holds it on and instead of fixing it they just sent it on the way. I would never go back and wouldn t recommend anyone else to either.

My friend brought his Acura TL here to get exhaust tips welded on. The guy working on his car threw his stuff around because he believed how my friend wanted his tips set up was wrong. Very disrespectful and unprofessional. Give the customer what they asked for and if you do disagree tell them and don't throw their stuff. It's not hard.

I use these guys for normal oil changes and trust them. They are always busy, so yes impatient customers will probably make them crabby. Have you ever worked retail/service? Give em a break. We all have bad days and these guys are WAY WAY better than the Jenison Muffler Man. I have called this store before to get quotes on services my dealership has pushed and they tell me straight up if they think its a rip off or not... I appreciate honesty over anything and being a woman talking about cars- having guys to look out for me it always appreciated.

I got my oil changed here and after driving it around a few times, found the cap for the oil tank tucked under the wipers. Not having a cap on, oil spilled all over the engine.In addition to this, during my hour-long wait for them to be finished, I overheard the manager bragging to his employees about how he had lied to a customer about a sensor that he put in. He said he told the customer that he put in a quality sensor with a lifetime warranty, but really he had put in a cheap one with no warranty.I was extremely disappointed with their service, and will definitely not go there again!!!

If there were an option for 0 stars I would choose that option. I drop my car off, and they tell me to wait an hour. Which is okay, I understand people are busy. I come back TWO hours later, and car was still not done. I was told I was next, but this was nonsense. He pointed at a sign like I was a child and said first come first serve, yet my car was above two other crossed off. Just plain bad customer service, and from the guy who looks like he runs the the place. Never apologized just treated us terribly. I would chalk it up to a bad day, but he acted the same the last time I came here. I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN. ANYONE LOOKING FOR AN OIL CHANGE DRIVE A FEW EXTRA MILES, NOT WORTH THE HASSLE HERE!!!

My wife and I love these guys!!!! Hands down the best place to bring our vehicles(including my daughter's) for oil changes , ect. If time is your issue, simply drop your vehicle off. They are first come, first serve, but always worth the wait. Thank you Muffler Man!!!

I went in to have my muffler taken out and replaced with pipe and they didn t secure the inner layer in my exhaust so it rattles. Charged me 180 bucks just for my exhaust to rattle while driving.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust
