Had my installation performed yesterday. The work was performed in a timely manner and the staff was professional and pleasant. Overall an excellent experience.

Worst experience EVER. Between the horrible customer service at this AutoOne shop, and terrible experience at Smart Start, I have nothing good to say. They changed our calibration appointment 2 times. Went to start the vehicle to go to my appointment, and was locked out due to a violation. Immediately went to DNA in Howell and took a test to prove there was no violation. They told us we'd have to get the car towed. Charged $80 for missed appointment. Next day our appointment was at 9am. We couldn't get a tow there precisely at 9 and called. Charged us another $80 for missed appointment. ??? Realized this company is IMPOSSIBLE to work with, and decided to have unit uninstalled. AutoOne in Howell wouldn't help us, so had car towed to AutoOne in Fenton, where btw, they couldn't have been nicer. $200 towing, $400 in "fees" and we have no clue what the violation was. Could it be that since THEY changed my appointment and was over the limit in time for the calibration.??? Could it be that the unit sucked my battery dry and I ran out of power? If that's the case, guess we need to sleep in the car to be sure we're not locked out. We're now going to their competitor in Commerce and they are much nicer and understanding to work with. Also, neither company told us how to remediate the situation. I'm out $800 and disgusted. HORRIBLE

Diane from smart start was so helpful, on the other hand the guy at Auto one was rude very rude and he didn t verify anything tried to charge more then I was quoted and very unhelpful I recommend having Dianes phone number handy when there

Got smart start installed and now my vehicle won't start even tho the tests pass. And can't get through to smart start tech support.
