Schroeder s has done my regular maintenance on my Sprinter van, and they have been worth the long drive! They use the same oil as the dealer BUT it costs less.Recently when my van was struck by lightning, they were able to diagnose the problem and get me back on the road safely with a new alternator. Their experience working with insurance companies took away any hassle that one might expect from dealing with insurance companies.I will definitely continue having my vehicle serviced here!

Thanks to two inept drivers from Howell that are unable to properly pull into a public parking space, I have had the pleasure of visiting Schroeder's Body Shop twice within the last months. The office staff. estimate people and the actual technicians are all amazing. In ALL my years of driving I have never needed this kind of support. The people at Schroeder's made what I considered a difficult situation manageable. I was amazed at how my poor car looked after Schroeder's worked their magic. You would never know there was any damage. A very special thank you to Chad for his efforts on this most recent visit.

We had our travel trailer repaired at Schroeder's after a large hailstorm. It was hassle-free, the employees were awesome, and the work was done quickly and it looks great! Evelyn and Chad took great care of us. We would not hesitate to have work done here in the future if necessary!

Schroeder's took great care of our 5th wheel camper. We had a bedroom slide out issue, a hydralic leak, and an AC unit issue. They took the time to explain what was done and why and even took care of a switch on the wall that we did not discuss. I would highly recommend Schroeder's to anyone.

ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL service from the entire team - Chad, Art, Christian all killed it! We had some significant issues (Fresh Water tank / Electrical) with our Forest River Travel Trailer. Chad kept me updated throughout the entire process and could not be happier with the level of service they provided. Also, our $$ came in much lower than expected!! In these current times of overall customer service going in the toilet, Schroeder's team is bucking this trend by putting customers first and providing excellent communication throughout the entire process! You ROCK, thank you!

What started out as a windshield replacement for our RV evolved into a full chassis inspection/maintenance , spark plug change and floor structure repair. We felt Schroeder was really looking out for us with these actions. We realize they are very busy but once they were able to get started, they didn t mess around. We will be taking all of our vehicle work to them.

Schroeder's went over our RV from top to bottom and listed every little thing that was wrong besides what we found! So many problems and with their recommendations we were able to have the RV go back directly to factory to be fixed. Finally back and we couldn't be happier. Thanks to everyone for all of your help getting us there!!!

I highly recommend contacting them for your RV needs. I made an appointment about 4 weeks before we arrived for the repair. Our appointment was at 11 am and we had our RV back by 3 pm. We did explain that we live full-time and they were able to get us back on the road the same day. Now, I understand this may not be possible for many issues, but for us, they did a great job. Chad and Evelyn were absolutely great to work with.I know I'll be contacting them for RV issues that may come up in the future.

We are first-time RV owners. The folks at Schroeder's have been far more helpful than the outfit we purchased from. They have answered our questions and helped us with issues we have found along the way. They have been polite and professional at every step.

I had an amazing experience with my first visit at Schroeder s Body Shop! I recently purchased a travel trailer and wanted to get the roof inspected before winter. Everything from scheduling the appointment with Evelyn to the actual appointment with Chad went great! They worked swiftly and very efficiently to get me in and out of there ! I will definitely recommend Schroeder for Auto/RV needs !

Amazing Service. Came in for repairs on my Tiffin motor home. Evelyn and Chad were great to work with in the office. Christian and Ryan answered all of my questions. The work was completed on time for our trip south, and even came in under the quoted price.A+++ all around. Will definitely be back.

We brought our Winnebago Vista RV to Schroeders to have a cracked windshield replaced . They caught some rust on the frame when the windshield was removed and showed us and then repaired it. They are a very professional and friendly team to work with. We are lucky they are only 4 miles from our house as we will be using them for both our auto and RV repairs.

Our first visit on 11/7/23 was truly amazing and very satisfying!! We brought our previously purchased used Class A coach to Schroeder s and we have no experience. Evelyn, Chad, and Christian were very friendly, patient, and helpful. They shared valuable tips as well as great service! We highly recommend Schroeder s!!!

Unfortunately, my experience was just not a good one. I brought my vehicle in for hail damage in June. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant. In August they needed the vehicle for the day for additional insurance info. About a week later they had it another day to replace the windshield early at my request due to cracks spreading. In October they had me bring it in for the actual body work. Second day they had it they called for me to come get it due to a 45 day back order on parts. I m at work so I couldn t get it till the next day (so 3 days of rental fees). I called about 2 weeks after parts should have arrived. Was told they came in day before and I could bring it in. Did so the following Monday. I called not long after the timeframe they said repairs would take. I was told it need to be painted and should be ready in a few more days. Called end of week for status and was told they d call me back. Several hours later I get a voicemail saying it s all finished but it s just not running right . No mention of this in the weeks they had it till now. There was no issue when I left it. I insist to just come get the car. Then I am told they are still waiting on parts. I end up having to leave it over Christmas because it is running so rough we don t trust it to make it home. At this point they are kind enough to offer me a loaner because I complained I ve spent at least 1k over my reimbursement allowance. I m told there might be a light on the dash, you can just ignore it . The loaner has 6 different warning lights on (engine, abs, power steering, brake, traction control, and tire pressure). Feels like a death trap but I have to get to work somehow. A week later my vehicle is ready and I m charged for some air sensor (MAP? about $200). Pick it up and next day discover the rear washer fluid does not spray out (not great for dirt road living in winter). About 2 weeks later, they call me to bring it in again for those remaining parts. I let them know about the washer fluid issue and that I will need the vehicle back end of day. Dropped it off at 5am Monday morning. Called at 10 am (got home from work at 1am) just to make sure they know it s there, remind them of the washer issue and that I will need it back end of day. Whoever answered doesn t know anything about my vehicle. I hear nothing from them the whole day. Husband and I go up when he gets home from work. All looks well. Washer fluid spraying. Go inside, give my name, handed keys. No explanation on the washer fluid issue, but at least they didn t charge me. Young lady was pleasant. Get in to leave and the driver s seatbelt is hard to pull out and does not retract unless you feed it back in. The height adjustor is stuck in the up position as well. I m 5 2 so I leave it in the down position. There was nothing wrong with it when I left it. At this point I ve left my vehicle with them 5 times for about 5 weeks total. I will deal with the seatbelt another way.I will say the body work does look good from what I can tell at this time.

Made an appointment in the fall to have my travel trailer wheel bearings repacked, brakes checked and slide out adjusted because it was hopping when retracting. It's a cable driven BAL accuslide. Booked about 1 month out but it was worth the wait. Told them to replace the slide out motor if necessary. After they serviced my trailer they said the motor replacement wasn't necessary. Saved me hundreds of dollars on part and labor! And the slide is functioning great now! Hard to find honest repair shops but this is definitely one of them. Highly recommend Schroeder's!

My car was vandalized. A scratch from headlight to taillight. I took my car to Schroeders and they did an outstanding job! They had a car that I could borrow since I don t have car rental insurance, they even detailed the inside of my car! I was completely satisfied with their service and would highly recommend them to anyone! Thanks SchroedersServices: Painting, Body & Trim

I cannot stress enough how much I recommend this place! I had some pretty extensive hail damage on my car, and not only did they fix it in far less time than I expected, but their work is PERFECT. My car looks brand new! All the staff members that we talked to were super friendly and helpful. This is the place to go for auto body work. Thanks, Schroeder's!Service: Body & Trim

We were stranded in our 34-foot A class with what we thought was a blown transmission and were towed to the closest repair place, Schroeder's... it was a Godsend! They could easily have sold us a new transmission for thousands more than our repair cost; instead, they repaired blown lines, flushed our coolant, and had us on our way back home in less than a week. They communicated the issue well and were honest. We even got better gas mileage after their work in the 700-mile drive home. Good Sam let us down, but not Schroeder's.

Although the last part took a while for them to receive by no fault of their own , as soon as they had it in their hands , my car was reassembled and ready for me to pick up . I even got my vehicle back steam cleaned and wiped down, which was a happy surprise! I highly recommend the folks here for all your auto body needs ! Very professional and kind staff .Service: Body & Trim

We bring our RVs in for service every summer while we are here in Michigan. We are full-timers so planning and execution is very important for us.We unfortunately have become beyond frustrated with the communication and lack of execution by the team at Schroeders. We have run into scheduling and communication issues in the past which we understand can happen, so we overlooked it. We asked them to inspect our tow bars and they tightened them so much we couldn t pull them apart. So we understood to not bring our towing issues to them and overlooked that. We had them replace our awning and quickly realized it wasn t installed properly. They asked us to let it sit out in the sun fully extended. We did so and it still wasn t right. We brought it in for them to to fix and they let it sit out in the sun for entire day and it still wasn t fixed. They finally scheduled an appointment to have it replaced, knowing it was the end of our stay here in Michigan. We were told by Chad that he would get 2 guys on it asap on our scheduled day and it would only take a couple hours. We dropped it off on our scheduled day, discussed with Evelyn what needed to happen. Less than an hour later I got a phone call from her asking what needed to be done to the RV. I got a second call saying they received the wrong color awning fabric so they can t fix it. I agreed to have the wrong color fabric installed if they would put the right one on when we returned next summer. They did not want to do that. They said the awning is fine because it s usable. Evelyn also told us that there wasn t enough time to get it installed on our scheduled day, which it was noon at that point. She must think that I don t remember paying for 2 labor hours when we originally got it done. So their way of making it right is to let us live with it not rolling in all the way on one end all winter. We asked for a refund and will now never return. The lack of organization and communication between employees, on top of Evelyn s attitude and creating one excuse after another was a total turn off.

I wanted to find a local business to handle our RV needs.General RV is quite a distance from where we live and there is always a long turn around time involved.I was pleasantly surprised with the RV department at Schroeders and in particular with Craig. He is very honest and upfront individual and has kept his word about everything he has said. They expertly worked with our Progressive Adjuster and took care of our small claim.I had them rotate the tires, change the windshield wipers and winterize our RV!Thank you Craig and the team for taking good care of us!I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Good as New!!! Had some minor body damage to our RV and was somewhat skeptical that anyone would be able to repair it as good as it was before. Took our Navion to Matt and he exceeded our expectations. Not only was the repair completed to perfection, Matt and his team also completed the job within a week (including parts delivery from Winnebago).Great job guys, you've got a customer for life!

Back in September 2018, I had two puncture holes in my 2017 Lazy Daze Class C RV. Schroeder's Body Shop patched the holes. They did excellent work! I returned again in December to have them fix a warped/bent side entry door.In 2020, I had two "OOPS" situations on my 2017 Lazy Daze Class C RV. The first was when I swiped a cement pole pulling away from the pump at a gas station. The second occurred at a Ford Truck repair place where I was getting an oil change. When they were lowering the RV on the rack, it tilted and scraped the front of the overhead cab. Schroeder's Body came to the rescue again for me. See attached pictures.Nov 11, 2021: Had an oil change and tires replaced on my 2017 Lazy Daze Class C RV. Another great service experience.Services: Painting, Body & Trim, Oil change

Short Story: If you need RV repair choose Schroeder's for speedy, accurate and prompt communication and repair. They work with insurance, have a clean and well-kept facility and even excellent customer service.Long story: I needed body repair to our 2003 40ft Class A motorhome in fall 2022. Schroeder's had a slight wait period before they could intake my RV and I decided to go with another local "Truck and RV Repair" shop that said we could drop the RV off next-day. That was a huge mistake. My RV sat for 6 months without any work being done. The owner of the shop never called me, I always had to call. he would tell me the insurance estimate was off and that I needed to work with insurance to get it right. He would tell me the parts needed were impossible to find. Zero work was done. I finally contacted Schroeder's for a second opinion. Schroeder's knew exactly what my RV needed, worked with my insurance company directly, and completed repairs in record time. I could tell from the moment I called that they were the right company to work with.Thank you Schroeder's for saving my RV in time for camping season. I will continue to recommend and use your shopService: Body & Trim

Pride of ownership shines at this family owned business. My recent unexpected car repair was professionally managed by Jeff at the service counter. He was courteous, very knowledgeable, and thorough. My car was repaired on time at a fair price, along with future recommendations. They have earned my respect and future business. Can't recall a better auto service experience anytime anywhere.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Oil change
