Called to see if Murphy's could check over a used Subaru we were about to purchase. The woman scheduling our appointment strongly recommended we have them check it over BEFORE we bought it; something we didn't even know dealerships allowed, but they did!The mechanics test drove and put it up on the hoist; everything was fine, and we bought the car with peace of mind. We were impressed with this shop and will be back for our first oil change.

Brought my truck here after calling around to get some quotes and see who could use my parts I already purchased, Murphy's had no problem using my parts and getting my truck in quickly! They came in under budget and do it all with great customer service! I will be a forever customer here, and this will be the only place I recommend anybody bring their car to get fixed. Thank you Dennis! And all the great workers at Murphy's!

Dennis and his workers are thorough and pleasant mos importantly honest. They explain your cars issues in a language a non mechanic understands. Would recommend Murphys to anyone who needs auto repair.

Replaced the Turbo; continuous issues with it since replaced 2 years ago. Spent lots of money finally found out it was not installed properly plus bad parts & broken bolts. Thank God I found a reputable service center finally!!! They are lucky I m not suing!!!

I took my car there on an emergency when it clearly had something break and couldn t be driven anymore! Thank god they were so close to where I broke down! They called me the very next morning and said they were already getting started on my car repair and it was ready for pick up by the end of my work day! EXCELLENT SERVICE AND QUICK TOO!!! Highly recommend and great customer service!!! A great first time experience and I will be going back should I need future repairs!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Oil change

Went in for Brakes, Struts, Shocks and that stupid engine light. They did a great job - rides like a dream now. Under-budget - over the top service. Highly recommended.

I was introduced to Murphy's Family Auto service a little over a year ago. This is the most honest caring mechanic I have ever met! I recommend Dennis the owner to everyone! He takes care ob my 2009 Chevy Tahoe. I appreciate him greatly!

Best mechanic I've ever used, no contest. Offer honest, quick, and quality repairs for literally 1/3 to 1/2 the price the dealership typically quotes. I usually fix my own cars but did not have time so I tried Murphy's...very happy that I did! They did a great job at a fair price. My car has been running great ever since and I just referred my neighbor to go to Murphy's.

Dennis and his team have been servicing our personal and company vehicles for years. We have had routine maintenance as well as major work performed. They are very honest and more than fair with pricing. The high level of service we have gotten is awesome. They have 'Family' in their business name for a reason, they treat their customers that way.

Went there to get 3 bolts removed from my jeep suspension. Granted one was a rear spring bolt that broke, but the other two were rear lower shock bolts that were 100 percent easier to work on especially with a liftAfter 1 hour waiting for them to check it out and he gave me an estimate.Stated he had to charge me 6 hours to do the work. So it would be $900. There hourly rate is $90 per hour. Math didn't add up 90x6 =540 not 900.Went home did it myself10 minutes and my grinder both shock bolts out and new shocks mounted.1.5 hours and spring mount bolt fixed. No professionals mechanic garage just lieing in the driveway.Will never go there again. Not recommended.

Moved to area 6 months ago - have 5 cars with lots of miles, so always need a good repair shop. Found it in Murphy's Family Auto Service. They are as trustworthy as it gets - very reasonable, very knowledgeable, and keep the customers best interest at hand. Highly recommend Dennis and gang at Murphy's!

I have taken my car into Murphy s Family Auto twice in the last 2 months. Their customer service is beyond amazing, priced very well and very upfront and honest. I just moved to Howell and will only take my cars here from now on

Honest and reliable repair shop that gets the job done right, the first time. Owner takes the time to explain things to you, and cares about you and your vehicle. Also all work I've had done on multiple vehicles has always been done on time.

Car was hit in your possession and your attorney says you don't have to give name. So, you screw one customer for another one. I hope that one was worth it. Take care of good customers. That customer that hit the one in your possession should legally have to come clean. Did you attorney tell you that. Way to run a business!!! I will not go or refer anyone to Murphy's screws their customers.

Took our jeep in for an engine on light. Turns out it was a very small evap leak that was hard to find - they were persistent and got it done. I've use them multiple times - always honest and fair. Highly recommended.

A mechanic I trust with all of my automotive needs. Dennis, the owner, has been my mechanic for 30+ years. An honest man, and won't steer you wrong. NOBODY else touches my truck!!

Owner is extremely conscientious. He gets the job done and does it right. He communicates via email if questions come up. He has even begun working Saturdays, despite it being a pandemic. Definitely recommend

Actually came in to check out a used car. Impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of father/son mechanic team. Couldn't buy the car due to a mechanical problem that cropped up but they were forthright and honest about it. I would go back for sure.

Always friendly and extraordinarily helpful on every level. Do not have to think about it. These folk's are running ragged just for you. If you can wait, it is worth the trip!!!
