Ray showed up within a reasonable amount of time. He communicated with me from start to finish. We struggled to locate the gear to lower the spare but he didnt quit and we found it. Very polite and saved the day.

My subaru would not start. Ray came very promptly to our house. My husband and I are very particular about our vehicles, and Ray was able to get the car out of the garage safely and onto the flatbed. He was also very careful with our property when turning his truck around.It was also awesome that Ray explained what he was doing to my son (who was super curious).Even though I hope NOT to need towing assistance in the future, if I do, I will 100% call Kiefer towing again.

If their business plan is to drive wrecklessly to create business for themselves, then by that accord they are doing well. This flatbed truck pulled out in front of us without even yielding when coming out of the subdivision on Golf Club Rd. He then proceeds to blare his horn when we go passed him as he returns to home base.

I locked my keys in my car. Karl came out on a cold , snowy morning, he was kind and so knowledgeable. He got my car unlocked quickly. I am definitely keeping their number for future use. Thank you!!!

I called and spoke to Karl the owner. He was very very nice. I asked him if he could help a homeless veteran with a jump. With no questions asked he said he would do it free of charge for the veteran. It s businesses like this that are willing to help people in need that we need more of in this world. I am so grateful for Karl and his employees being willing to go the extra mile and help someone in need. If you need a tow or assistance I would definitely recommend this company!!!! Thank you!

Absolutely cannot reccomend this business enough. Kiefer is one of the rare solo companies that truly care about giving the best to their customers. They are honest and do truly quality work.When my car overheated on the highway, Kiefer was there to tow me and took time out of his evening to assess the damage right then and there. When I was already shaken from the ordeal, I felt like Kiefer didn't just make sure my car was okay, he made sure *I* was okay too.Kiefer was upfront about costs and worked in a budget I could afford. I had Adam from Kiefer come and pick up/tow my vehicle today. He was timely, helpful and considerate. The service seems to be very professional and I felt respected and relieved to have it taken care of so easily! Highly recommend!

I took my car here after having an issue with my power and they told me I needed my throttle body replaced. I paid them to replace the part and it was not what was wrong with the car. When I dropped it off I told them what I thought was wrong and they said they my "theory" was wrong and that they new best. They did not. My alternator went a day after it got out the shop and I had to have my boyfriend replace it himself the next day. They hosed me took my money for something I did not need replaced. They will never get my business again. I need more work done and I'll will not have it done at this shop.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I was extremely lucky to receive help for a lockout service from one of the Kiefer techs. After calling AAA with a wait time of two and a half hours, that kept getting pushed out I was beyond frustrated. With a phone dying and not being from the area, I was running out of options. A tech spotted me at a local gas station and volunteered his services getting me into my car within 20 minutes of our conversation. I owe my sanity and a huge debt of gratitude the Kiefer Automotive Group.

I was unfortunate to run over something that cracked my oil pan and damaged my right rear tired. Being new to Howell i didnt know where to go so i googles shops and found Kiefer towing. Kiefer shop was very helpful with placing a claim with insurance and getting my car fixed in a timely matter. I will def recommend for anyone in the Howell area!

Great customer service but besides that not muchelse from what I can tell. Took my 1500 here lastyear and it sat for half a year. All this place is goodfor besides towing is storage and collecting rust!Not to mention I was told to just 'scrap it' aftermonths when he had already accepted taking onthe body work- it being a family truck I justdisregarded the comment and ignorance andmoved it to a different shop where I had noproblems and my truck back in two weeks.Amazing how fast that job was, I'm just glad Igave my money to them and not here.

Needed my son's jeep towed last Sunday(5/28/23) through Roadside Assistance. Dispatch said 1.5-2 hours. At 2 hours called Kiefer and was told due to police towing, it was going to be another hour. After another hour, and repeated attempted calls (They stopped answering the phone).. Had to request another service.Then, again on 6/1/23, Roadside assigned the tow to Kiefer (needed to get the jeep towed to a shop) and dispatch was 1.5-2 hours. After nearly 2 hours, Kiefer called and said that they would be delayed until later int he after noon due to a need in Novi.Stop taking roadside tows if you can't do the work. You leave people stranded and wasting the day waiting on youService: Car towing

Karl was very easy to deal with, and got my super duty repaired very timely! After 3 other shops said the tear in the aluminum was not able to be repaired, Karl WAS able to repair, rather than replace my entire bedside. I am very picky and It looks like new, can t tell there was any damage at all. Anybody with an aluminum Ford he is your guy! Greatly appreciate his work!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

If you've ever just had one of those days (you know, everything is just going completely wrong and then, on top of everything, you ended up stranded in your car on the side of the highway) Karl Kiefer is the person you should call. I was a total, blubbering mess when he arrived to help me (just minutes after I called with no clue where I was). "Don't you worry, I'm going to take care of this and you'll be back on the road in no time." Indeed, he did and I was. I can't tell you how much I wish every service-person I meet was like Karl- caring, helpful, and efficient. If you're questioning who to call, call Kiefer!Services: Battery service, Fuel delivery

Totally satisfied with my experience here. I usually wait for the other shoe to drop and feel ripped off, but not with Clayton at Kiefer AG. He definitely went the extra mile to help me out and make me feel confident in his ability. I went in with an emergency situation, and left with a shop I'll go to for life. Honestly, I don't think I've ever reviewed a place of any kind before- these guys are worth it!

I recently took in my 2018 Jeep Wrangler to have side rails installed. They boxed up and returned all the original parts and returned them to me. The job was done more quickly than the estimated time they gave me. I consider the price I paid for the work extremely fair. They did a fantastic job and I would definitely recommend their services.

The owner Carl is the Absolute man. Was in a fender bender with my work truck and needed my bumper pulled out from rubbing on the tire. He came out within minutes and helped me get it to where I could drive my truck back to my shop. Seriously such a cool guy and I cannot thank him enough for helping me so quick in such a stressful time!!!

Had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with a rude representative of your company. Never did catch his name, some older grey haired gentleman who was having a bad day I guess, just a swear word toward me nothing more. Reflects poorly on your business and will let others know the same

Karl and his team have taken care of our family for years and are easily the best auto care outfit I have worked with since we've lived in Michigan. I always know that Karl is looking out for my family by recommending the best options for us and the body work they've done is A+ every time. Highly recommended!!

I had a no start with my 03 5.9 Cummins I called Kiefer automotive, Clayton Smith took care of me and my truck. He did an analysis that determined I was driving with 6 bad injectors and the only symptom I had was a no start in cold weather, he then did a Stage 1 injector swap and it s never ran better, it s like a new truck, and I received it in a timely manner. Everyone there is polite and pleasant to work with, fair pricing and they know what they re doing, I am extremely picky who works on my truck, but Clayton did a superb job! You can really tell they all take care and pride in there work.

Would never go there or recommend them to anyone! Had my truck in there to get a trans put in and they messed my two front rims up putting it on the hoist. 5 months later and the owner just says he s working on getting me new one. At the time the truck was there rims were only 3 months old. Now I m supposed to wait to get my rims replaced that were messed up in Karl s shop by his worker. First time I called about it I got yelled at and cussed at!!
