I've been coming here sense it used to be checkers. I shop here alot still but dam the women that work here have absolutely NO parts knowledge once so ever. It's like talking to a brick wall. No help once so ever.I have no problem with the rest of the store it's a decent place to shop but if you get one of the girls there you might as well go in the back and try and find it your self.

I called for a part that needed to be ordered, the guy said they would be there the next day by 2, so I called the next day to see if they were in and I was told that they were never ordered. Make sure you re talking to someone that is competent to order your parts. I was pissed I needed these parts today. I won t ever rely on this place again.

Wanted to give a shout-out to Victoria and the Houghton O'Reilly crew. (I called and got her name specifically for this review.)I was in need of a specific 12V 5AH battery, and not one of the other auto parts stores would even consider ordering, let alone having it in stock. I go to O'Reilly's, not only could they aquire it, they had one on the shelf.This was excellent and all, made my life easier, but what stuck out to me the most was Victoria's response when I relayed this information, she said "Great, big O' for the win"It's this kind of pride in what you do, whatever that may be as your means of income, that really makes visiting an establishment worth going to. I say this because so often you can be treated with barely audible grunts of recognition and 0 enthusiasm whatsoever. If one doesn't like there job enough to find some sort of joy or meaning in it, perhaps consider looking for other employment.Very glad to see a business stand out like this; Houghton O'Reilly is now my first call for parts. bravo guys, keep up the good work and positive attitude; it really makes a difference.

Awesome first time visit experience. Excellent customer service provided by Nathan, who was knowledgeable, experienced and willing to go the extra mile to help me. I highly recommend shopping this store for your automotive eeds.

Well, they had the part in stock, nobody else did. Those guys on Sharon had no idea....headlite clips, 2 for $13 wow pretty spendy, but I had to have them

Exceptional customer service. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, genuinely helpful, and any other positive adjective you could imagine. One of the reasons I am not a big fan of chain stores is that they often seem to beat you over the head with the upsell. I find the staff at O'Reilly do a great job of splitting the difference between the hard upsell and making sure I know about extra products (e.g. brake fluid when I am buying brakes) or an upgrade (better pads for my brakes). It may just be a difference in the training they get but they seem to do it out of a sincere interest in informing me rather than twisting my arm to buy something I don't really want or need just so they can meet some numbers mandated by the head office.They have a great selection on-hand for a small town store and have been able to get anything I needed that they didn't stock quickly. In the past I would shop pretty hard to make sure I am getting the absolute best price but the quality of the customer service at the Houghton O'Reilly has caused me to go to them as a first and preferred source. I still shop around and will buy elsewhere if they are way out of line on price but I am also willing to pay a reasonable premium to support the team at O'Reilly because they are always helpful and their pleasant demeanor and positive attitude generally has me leaving the store in a better mood than I came in with.

I called this location to inquire about my battery purchased in the past from a location down state that was failing. Jordan answered my call and found my purchase in the system from 4 years prior. He said I could come in first thing in the AM on Sunday as I was staying in Silver City 50m away. I had my new battery installed with a credit as well. It salvaged my vacation. He also tested my alternator. Kudos to Jason and O'Reillys.

They were super helpful when I came in to get info on a check engine light code, buy new wiper blades, and generally figure out what was wrong with my car.The employee who helped me installed my new wipers, gave me info on why the check engine light came on, and also gave me some high level information about a DIY engine repair project I was considering.

I live pretty much at the end of the earth, and the closest town with an O Reilly is an hour south of my home. My car badly needed some very hard-to-find transmission fluid, and O Reilly actually had it in stock! The problem was: not only was the store an hour away, but I work until 8pm. The store closed at 9, and it was starting to snow.Long story short, I called as I was racing down there, and the employees (sorry I didn t get your names!) were nice enough to hang out an extra 15-20 minutes so I could pick up my ATF. A HUGE thank you to them for being so awesome! I hope she and he both know that I appreciate them! THANK YOU!

Great people and great service! I have no idea about anything that has to do with cars, and Shane pointed me to the new bulbs I needed for my headlights and helped me replace them, even in the rain! Thank you so much!!!

Your average over the counter parts store. Some things do stand out. You can borrow a ton of specialized tools. Just pay them for it and they give you your money back when you bring the tool back. Or if you decide you want to keep it, it's paid for. Tools I've personally used and had good luck with. Harmonic balancer puller and installer, serpentine belt installer tool.

Nice store. Smaller than what I'm used to, but it looked like they had everything their bigger branch stores had in stock. The counter help was very helpful. They went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of, and had what I needed.
