I called Bill's Auto Repair on Saturday, July 1st. Thankfully, his shop was open over the holiday weekend. He provided me with some great advice over the phone regarding my windshield wipers that were not working. We ended up at his shop and he was able to order the windshield wiper transmission part that we needed and get it installed on the same day. Thank you, Bill for your exceptional customer service and honesty. I would highly recommend his shop for your auto repair needs.Michelle W.

Bill is so courteous and caring, we will always go to him for repairs from now on!! We live out of town and our serpentine belt came loose. He said he didn't have time to fix our car today, but he would let us bring it in and use his tools to fix it. He even stayed there past closing for us to finish fixing our car. Seriously recommend going to see Bill! The cluttered office is no indication of this man's generous service, so please don't let that deter you.

I'm very pleased with Bill's auto. I had a issue with my car for over a year. I had taken it into other shops and was charged for things that never ended up being the issue. Bill was able to fix my problem. Bill was also very honest and his pricing was much cheaper than anyone else I had received qoutes from. I highly recommend this place.

We aren t from the area. We were traveling through on our way home and had over an hour to go. Our car started shaking violently and engine light flashing. We googled the area and found Bill s. They were closing in an hour on a Saturday, but got us in, and we were 100% impressed!! They were knowledgeable, kind, very fair with pricing, and they had us on our way in under an hour. They could have taken advantage of us being stuck and overcharged us, but didn t. We were completely and totally impressed. Thank you Chris and Bill!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Bill has been my mechanic for over 15 years. I could write a long detailed review but I'll just share one short story. I was having trouble with my van starting I thought it was probably the solenoid and figured I needed a new starter. Shortly after I dropped it off Bill called and said it was all set to go. He explained that a wire connector was corroded so he replaced it no charge. This is just one of several stories I could share to prove his high integrity and professionalism. If you live in Houghton Lake and not taking your car to Bill when it needs fixed, you're screwing up.

Easily the best mechanic around. The guy has walked to my house and jumped my battery free of charge. He has serviced my vehicles since I started driving. If you have a major issue he will tell you in an honest way. I can't praise or thank Bill enough. A+++++

I called another shop in HL. They gave me an outrageous quote that was just rediculous.I kept looking around, and I thought I'd give Bill's auto repair shop a try. I'm new to this area, so I didn't know where to go... let me just say, these are good people at Bill's. My experience was above and beyond excellent. 5 stars. I'll definitely be back for anything I need done on my ford taurus.

Holiday weekend and they gave us a number for a tow and then fixed up our truck so we could be on our way. Very friendly and courteous. Good prices for the tow and the service.

This little shop doesn't look like a fancy auto shop. But it's what they have on the inside is what makes me go back. His name is Bill, he is a very honest man and such a hard worker.

This shop has had my GMC suburban for close to week and a half seeing as it's my only vehicle left me hang told me it was being worked on and not one thing was done to it so he lied constant to us nothing was done and he damaged my woofer
