been there twice and both times were a misreable experience, 2nd and last time they "wall jobbed" an alignment and trans flush on our Dodge Caravan. Trashed a good set of front tires and we believe our trans just quit. Chalked it up as a "lesson learned" and will never return. Didn't bother confronting them on it as they'd deny it. Do still have our receipts since it's a company-work van if they attempt to challenge validity of our statements."Addendum" as of 7/7/203. Appears they just attempted to contact me via phone and my guess is to confront me on this "not so friendly, but accurate" review. Got all the receipts sitting on my desk well as the "pre alignment" numbers from Belle when we had to take it back in 3 months later for a pair of front tires and new alignment. Give ya 2 options.... Provide me a retort with an e-mail address so I can send you the info, or have your attorney contact me so we can REALLY have a good time. Personally don't advise the latter of the 2 as if you drag us into court we just may be tempted to counter sue for a refund/restitution. Try as you may the review is honest, accurate and will remain up. Nice try though.

Brought my vehicle in for a rear wheel grinding issue. Paid Wilkinson to much for a wheel bearing and brakes in the rear. They replaced the front. Two weeks later bring the vehicle back. They quoted over the last repair saying it's a "deal" because of the confusion last time.Place is a joke. Trashy, nasty, and rude people. Learn to do your own work if you can.Service: Brakes

Got the work done that I needed on my car in less than 24 hours and at a lot lower of a price than I was expecting! Will definitely be my go to shop whenever needed!

I had gotten a flat tire 9 days ago and could not get into the dealership to fix it. So I called Wilkinson auto and in about 10 min they had my spare tire off and my regular tire aired and back on my truck.I highly recommend these guys. They are very friendly and the price is unbelievably affordable. Thank you Wilkinson Auto Repaire. I will be back if any work needs to be done on my truck

I would recommend them to anyone looking for major engine work at a good price and a timely manner. They are nice and down to earth people. Everyone I spoke with was great They helped us when no other mechanic we called could get to our car.My daughters engine blew engine while on 75. I called multiple different places. Took son's car in there to get timing belt replaced! They told me it was an interference motor and just haul it off for scrap. I told them it was not an interference! As I am automotive engineer for that vehicle, Had to pay to haul it somewhere else to get timing belt replacement!($450) this is the 4th time you guys showed me your lack of automotive knowledge! Won't be back! And will tell all I know how crooked this place is!

Wilkinson does great work on the jobs they are asked to do, but not so much for diagnostics. They will say they found the problem, replace that part, then when the problem isn't fixed, they will not honor the warranty and will even charge for another inspection, even though the problem you paid them to fix isn't resolved. It's disappointing customer service given again that the work they do is truly high quality.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Awesome service, corrected problem with check engine and next day came in for rattling noise, they fixed that problem too. I asked how much did I owe and they said have a great day! Made my day awesome service. My son uses there services alot for his truck! He is extremely satisfied. He has 2002 fortruck, they have fixed ever issue. Amazing customer service. They shoot you straight on the pricing, don't go out of their way to find things wrong like most places, and are just genuinely good people who know what they're doing. After having my car sit at a dealership in Grand Blanc for almost 3 weeks and getting screwed on the pricing it was very refreshing to come here and have them so accommodating and have my car fixed within a day.

The owner is a great guy. He has helped me out in the past (before we ever knew each other) for free because I was stranded with 2 babies, late, on a cold winter night when my coolant line blew and I didn't even have a phone to call for help. The people here are nice and they always tend to get done faster than what is promised - whichvis a rare thing these days!

Took my truck to Wilkinson's this morning for a front end alignment and left very satisfied. They scheduled me quickly did the work for the price quoted and the gentlemen at the desk was friendly and very personable. I would absolutely recommend this shop for repairs.

my truck would not run. i had it towed to them and the repaired multiple electrical issues. the cost was fair, the service quick and friendly. i love being able to support a local business and get value for my dollars. thanks guys. hope I dont need you but you can be sure I will be back if the need arises.

I've been a customer/client for about 10 years. I will always recommend Wilkinson to anyone in need of car repairs. I've never been disappointed with the quality or the cost of any repairs I've had done. And just a side note here --- I'm still driving the same car that I was a decade ago. That alone is a testament to the quality of the work they do.

Took a look at my car and was very honest. It was an older car and not worth getting a new engine for it. They let us keep it there until we figured out what company to have junk it. Highly recommend!

This past Saturday, we called with a problem. They said bring it in today and we will diagnosis it. Suspecting already what it turned out to be, my expectation was to get a diagnosis on Saturday and a repair on Monday earliest.After calling us to confirm the problem, they said they would have it before the end of day Saturday. They were also able to do the leg work to warranty the part, which was done at another shop a couple of years before. The cost savings was substantial and was a result of going the extra mile to do the right thing.Since my first experience with them, I do not go anywhere else. I trust them, and that is not something that comes easy. They have given me ample reason time and again and have always handled the relationship in a personal manner. A particular thank you to Rodney in this case, and Mr. Wilkinson and crew for the integrity you project in your approach to business.

We've lived in Holly for 28 years and Wilkinson Auto Repair is by far our favorite place to take our vehicles. They fully explain any needed repairs before and after performing them. Their prices are always reasonable, and their quality is very high.

I brought my car in for a snapped abs/break wire and left without a door handle. I have been using Wilkinson s auto repair since I was in high school and even though I live a half hour from Holly I was still going to them, but after this last repair I will never be using their service again. I drive a 2007 Buick Lucerne and the release clips were broken on the drivers side handle since I bought the vehicle. While annoying, a door handle with broken release clips is completely fictional and has been that way for years. Wilkinson s has worked on this car lots of times, but when my mom went to pick up my car for me while I was at work she had to climb through the passenger door. Upon seeing my car I realized the handle Had been ripped off and the lock mechanism had been bolted down. I called to complain as I was never called upon the break to ask if I would like it fixed. Had they called me at the time it broke I would ve paid for it to be fixed, but as this did not happen and Wilkinson auto advised they would not be taking responsibility for the lack of communication and care I will no longer be using their services.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have never experienced a more honest repair shop. Chris & his crew will inspect your car from top to bottom. They will make suggestions as to what may need to be repaired BUT will also tell you if the repair can wait. When they get into a repair and find that some of the work isn't needed.......THEY DON'T charge for it like so many other shops do. I can't say enough as to how pleased I have been with them.

The people are very nice. They know what theyre doing and will not hesitate to tell you what needs to be done. Even with all their business, they still manage to get to you quickly. Good payment options, however, they are a little bit more pricey than the others in the area, but for a reason. They also do the best job in the area.

These guys are great. Not only are they extremely fair on their prices, but they go over the top and take time to explain things, if you want.I wouldn't take my car anywhere else for service, unless I broke down in a different service shop's driveway AND I was 100 miles from Holly.

Needed service done on my 2010 Liberty, upon searching internet, located Wilkinson auto in Holly, MI. Called spoke with wonderful person who walked me thru what was need to get vehicle repaired. Arrived next morning they inspected truck and told what need to be service. Next estimate given, then best part they shuttled me home, and delivered my Jeep when finished. Repairs were where done in timely fashion. I am unable to give this establishment enough praise, Thank you for all the customer service expected. Dale.

I had a vibration on a used car I had bought. Turns out it was only loose lug nuts. They could have jerked me around but were very honest and when I tried to at least pay them for the half hour they had my car, they refused. This is hands down one of the better places I've ever been and will definitely go back.

Had Wilkinson do an inspection this morning on a vehicle I'd like to buy. I appreciated the thoroughness of the inspection, and that a link to the inspection was texted to me, as I live 1:30 away. Also they charged me almost 1/4 of what the shop down the road was planning to charge. Thanks!

Wonderful! I needed new shocks and struts, I bought the parts myself and they put the parts on for me which was nice because not a lot of auto shops do that. They also did an alinement for me, but since they're new to alinements they didn't do it right but thats okay. All in all it was $230, very cheap! It only took 2 hours on a Saturday! The owner drove me home since I didn't want to wait which was so kind. I will definitely be going here for all my auto repairs.

Car would crank but no start - started fine 3 days earlier. Went back out to tow it up to Wilkinson's. Amazingly enough it sputtered / backfired and then started! I drove it up to the shop and explained my situation to Chris. He said if he could keep it a couple days he may be able to replicate the issue as it was running fine now.He did say, when was the last time you had a tune up? I mentioned I had recently just purchased it 6 months back and didn't really know. He said if I were willing to tune it up myself, he would sell me the OEM replacement Cap / Rotor / Wires and would definitely save me $. I mentioned I had bought the Spark Plugs from Auto Zone and he looked at his Chevy Guide and told me they sold me the wrong ones! He told me the right ones to buy and I took them back and they exchanged them.The next day the car wouldn't start again, so I decided it was time to do the tune up. Remarkably he was right and the car is running fine now!!! The Cap had sooo much oxidation on the terminals - now wonder it wouldn't start. Thanks Chris for the honest help and $ savings.

Chris and his guys are awesome! They were the only ones I took my Jeep to until 2012 when I was in accident. Still have the Jeep and it will be heading Chris's way soon to get it back up and running for my daughters first car. They are always quick and being a mom with a tight budget I was never taken advantage of. Chris and his guys will always have my business.
