On a very windy day I was towing my travel trailer from Blue springs state park in Florida. The drive was two and a half hours. It was incredible the way my truck was handling the trailer. That day I believe it was trucks day in I 95 north. A year before I got my pro pride 3 p hitch, I was towing in Colorado with terrible windy conditions. This was the most terrifying drive in my life. After that trip my decision was made to purchase the pro pride hitch. My nightmares is over. Windy, trucks passing you, no problems. My drive home from Blue Springs was each even with wind gust over 30 mph. I strongly recommend this product.

We have had our 3P hitch now for 4 years, ever since we upgraded from a pop-up to a 31 travel trailer. All the touted benefits of sway control and turning radius we have enjoyed many times. Our experience last week though really underlined the benefit of this hitch. We had a catastrophic blowout of our front passenger-side trailer tire on the interstate. There was no doubt what the big bang was, but the truck and trailer _barely_ reacted at all and allowed us to safely navigate onto the shoulder of the highway to make repairs. I shudder to think what it may been like had we not had the 3P.

We tow a 30ft Airstream with a Ram 2500. We transitioned from a weigh safe to the Pro Pride. We had constant trouble with the scale in the weigh safe. It was always off. Sometimes by 300 lbs. The scale burst at one point and lost all the hydraulic fluid. We purchased a rebuild kit with a new scale and fluid. The problems remained.I could feel semi s when they passed us with the weigh safe. Not bad, but definitely a little push and pull. With the ProPride there is absolutely nothing when a semi passes. Our turns are quiet and smooth, no popping like with the weigh safe. With the ProPride it is almost like our Airstream isn t back there. A much better towing experience.

I have only towed once with it, 4 hours to bring my Jayco 28 BHOK (8000 lbs dry, 1200 tongue weight) to the dealer for warranty work. The towing experience was amazing. I was in a 25-30 MPH cross wind for most of the trip. The wind was pushing the truck a bit but the trailer was straight and true behind it. I went from using a major brand hitch where the trailer owned the truck and sway was nerve wracking to a smooth sway free towing machine. My truck is a 2023 F150 SuperCrew with the 3.5 Powerboost. I got it in June of last year when we had a 26' Hybrid trailer. We decide to take in and RV show and ended up purchasing this new trailer in August. If I would have known we were getting such a large trailer I would have upgraded to an F250 when i got the new truck. Oh well it's a lease and the next truck will definitely be the F250. Sean was absolutely amazing to work with through the whole process of getting this hitch. This company understands excellent customer service in this crazy Post Covid world. Absolutely the best. I'm very mechanically inclined and have installed several hitches over the years including 5th wheel rails, this installation took me around 3 hours. I think I'm setup really good as I am right on height-wise on my front fender measurements, rear quarter measurements are about an inch lower that unhitched and trailer is 1/4 inch lower in front. Truck feels really balanced on front and rear weights. Like I said earlier I didn't feel anything being passed by any transport trucks (I tow at 60 MPH) and the heavy side winds didn't seem to bother the trailer for the most part. A couple of times when I got hit with a 35-40 MPH gust I expected to feel some sway as I was so used to it with the other hitch, this one never skipped a beat. It was the most relaxed I have been towing this trailer since we got it. I'll be going to pick the trailer back up next Saturday and look forward to a relaxing ride home. Only advice I can give is do it, you won't be sorry.

If you re on the fence about purchasing a Pro Pride hitch I promise that you won t regret it. Trust me, buy it!This hitch saved my a**! Like many novice travel trailer owners I made the mistake of buying too big of a trailer for my pull vehicle. I looked at the weight ratings and thought ok cool, I can get a trailer that weighs up to 8000 lbs . Boy was I wrong. I ve since learned that wheel base, tire type, and suspension stiffness also play a major role in what you can pull safely. (Unless you have a Pro Pride of course)So there I was with a 36 7000lb trailer and a 2018 Chevy Tahoe to pull it with. The minute I hit the highway after leaving the dealership I thought that I had just made a huge mistake. I could barely drive 55 mph without developing a death wobble that felt like it was going to throw me into another lane. But wait, I paid extra for the sway control system at the dealership ($1800). Surely I just need to tighten the torsion bars. I cranked them to their highest setting. No change.I called a friend of mine that also owns a camper to tell him how bad I had screwed up and that s when he told me about Pro Pride sway control hitches. I was highly skeptical given the price tag and my current experience with sway control systems but he promised me it would solve my problem. I bit the bullet and purchased the Pro Pride. To say it was a night and day difference is an understatement. I immediately put it through the paces and to my amazement I was able to get up to 85mph with absolutely no sway at all! On a calm day I can barely feel it behind me at speed.I ve had mine for 3 years now and it still performs flawlessly. The reason I decided to write this review is because I contacted the company to ask about maintenance and potential bearing replacement and to my surprise they offered to do it for me at no charge! This level of customer service is outstanding and deserves recognition. I can t say enough good things about this company and the product they manufacture. 5 stars all the way around!

The 3P hitch works as advertised. I tow an Arctic Fox 25W with a 2017 F250 with the 6.7 Powerstroke. It eliminated some serious sway issues I was having with my new heavier trailer with a higher hitch and the weight distribution works as expected. You will need a solid half day to install the hitch and there is a bit of a learning curve to getting hooked up. The instructions are excellent. However, once it is installed and you are towing it is well worth the effort. The V2 jacks are a big improvement over the original design. If you can afford this hitch then it is well worth the steep price because it really does eliminate dangerous trailer sway.

--- 2023/02/14 ---Finally got our new ProPride P3 hitch professional installed today.Less than a day into our recent 6 week shake-down trip, it was blatantly obvious that the hitch sold to us by the dealership where we got our Arctic Fox was woefully insufficient! The tow home from the trailer shop was significantly better than all previous towing with the old hitch. Very glad we had professionals tackled this complex install.--- ORIGINAL REVIEW ---AMAZING customer service! Got a call from Brent after placing my order to thank me and to confirm the order details. Greatly appreciate their attention to detail and confirming customer's understanding before shipping. Liked the experience so much that I went back this weekend and ordered several accessories for my new ProPride P3 hitch. I'll post photos of the hitch once installed on our Arctic Fox camper and F350 tow-rig. Very excited as the P3 is a BIG UPGRADE from our current wimpy hitch!!!

BEST HITCH EVER!!This is a NO SWAY Hitch. All others are anti sway, meaning you will still encounter sway and you will need to respond when, not if it happens. Ask me how I know. My wife Loves this hitch and has never pulled the trailer with it. She sees how much more relaxed I am while towing our travel trailer. We have had it over 2 years and 5000 miles so far and no white knuckle driving. No more being sucked in when a Semi passes or consistently looking in my rear view checking for sway. It might seem a bit expensive, but once you tow with it you ll regret not getting it sooner. I ve been smiling ever since installing it. Now, besides being the best hitch you could have, it comes with the best warranty and not to sound redundant but THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE any company has ever had. Propride stands behind their products and has your back before and after the sale. Go on test it, give them a call. Ask them anything, they ll be there when you need them, from install questions to how to do maintenance. I have never been happier with a product and their customer service. Lastly, if you re still on the fence because of the cost, ask yourself the price you put on the safety of your loved ones, and the expense you have invested in your truck and trailer. Bite the bullet, you will not regret it.

We bought a new to us 26' Trailer and started planning our first trip from Georgia to Texas. The Trailer came with a Curt WD\Anti Sway hitch, one of those things that you have to take apart in order to back up. I didn't like it, I felt it would be too hard for me to handle on my own so I started looking further. Trailer sway was also a huge concern for me. As soon as I started looking for an alternative ProPride 3P stood out. Expensive? Sure. But I tow a gooseneck horse trailer and ProPride promised that with their hitch pulling my Travel Trailer would be comparable and it looked like something I could hitch to my truck and unhitch on my own without my husband's assistance, if needed. Once I placed the order we started watching the YouTube videos and when the boxes arrived my husband was able to get the thing installed. There were a few hiccups, learnt a few curse words, rewatched the videos, reread the manual...all of which is very clear and helpful and got it installed. The promise of a sway free experience was true. One thing I learned from watching videos was that vehicles (particularly 18 wheelers) overtaking us would push and pull our rig, that was true. It happens when I'm pulling the gooseneck horse trailer too so I was ready. All and all the peace of mind was well worth the price of the ProPride 3P hitch.Oh, and avoid Interstate 10 through the South if you can. Lord what a mess!

Propride where were you all my life! First trip fully loaded since I installed it a few months ago. Traveled down the dreaded I95 S. Very, very little sway and that was in a moderate wind. Cats scaled and was able to get weight distribution 50-50 to the front and rear axles with 3 inches left on the jacks. Eliminating sway on a short wheelbase SUV is no easy feat and Propride nailed it! Absolutely no comparison to my E2 hitch. I will definitely be talking up Propride to everyone I can. Thanks Sean for all the help getting what I needed! I don't know why there are no views on this review, they are a top notch company!

I ve had the Propride hitch going on three years now. I have nothing but good things to say about the hitch itself and the company. I tow a 32 travel trailer and have two small children. Safety was/is my priority. After towing the trailer with the original hitch I immediately started researching different hitches. Towing with the original hitch was uncomfortable to say the least. I recently had to have some repairs done on the main unit (damage caused by my trailer). Dealing with Brent was a breeze. He was very responsive. I shipped my main unit to them and had it back within two weeks. It s nice dealing with a company with a good product and good customer service. Rare these days.

I just want to thank Sean Woodruff and the ProPride Team for such an awesome product. We retired and went full time RVing in 2021. While moving our belongings from Virginia to Texas for storage, I had encountered some crazy swaying and white knuckles with our 30 ft Airstream. About halfway, we stopped and placed an order to be waiting on us in Fort Worth TX when we arrived. Long story short, we have traveled 1000 s of miles exploring these last couple of years, and have even changed RVs, but one thing we still have is our ProPride and will never tow without it. I have helped several friends in our RV family realize how important a ProPride is to have. Actually, I just had a text from one the other day. He got hit on the driver side rear of his 33 ft Classic Airstream by an 18 wheeler that feel asleep and my friend came out ok. I told him, I was very glad he had just installed the ProPride and that I was 99% sure it saved him. Last photo of his Airstream damage. If you re reading this and thinking about getting a PP hitch, just do it! If you don t have one it could be too late when you really need one. I can go on and on about this but really I just want to say, Thank You ProPride!

I purchased the ProProde P3 Hitch system and could not be happier. I have been camping with our trailer for several years now, and we recently upgraded to a 30' trailer with our 2021 Expedition. It handles the tow nicely, but the winds, interstate traffic and other factors gave me a lot of sway with our previous hitch and weight distribution system. The new P3 has eliminated all of my frustrations and we have a much smoother ride to boot. We love our P3 system, thanks ProProde!

Sean and team at ProPride make the best hitch on the market hands-down. It is a huge improvement over the original Hensley design in my opinion, and takes almost no time to learn to use once installed. Hitching and unhitching is a breeze even at weird angles and inclines, by simply making minor adjustments to the jacks and angle. The way the physics of this hitch system work allowed me to tow a very long trailer with my half-ton with zero sway. We were under all weight limits, including payload, and loaded carefully each time even when hitting the scales to ensure proper tuning, other WD hitches like the BlueOx SwayPro allowed some scary amounts of sway over 50mph, especially when large trucks passed by. The ProPride fixed that, and you could drive with just a finger if you really wanted to at normal highway speeds. Sean and the whole team at ProPride also provide excellent customer service, and go out of their way to make themselves available to help at almost any time of day.

This hitch works great. I bought it when I upgraded to a larger 31 ft. camper and a Dodge RAM 2500 and wanted the piece of mind that I was being as safe as possible while towing with my wife and two boys.It has performed perfectly for the 5 years that we have had it, including a long trip this summer across 5 states in 2 weeks. We did add reflective tape to the receiver so that we could see the target in the dark when hooking up using the rearview camera on the truck.

I have a RAM 1500 and was looking to purchase one of the largest bumper pull travel trailers you can buy. I have towed for many years so started searching for what was the best hitch on the market. Pretty much all my research pointed toward the PP3. So I purchased the hitch which BTW had wonderful customer service experience. Then, I loaded up the hitch and traveled about 2000 miles to purchase my trailer. I picked up the trailer and driving it 4 miles to the campsite was so stressful. It was all over the place. I installed the PP# at the campsite. Everything was top notch! I'm very picky and inspected the welds and all the hardware with no issues found. I had watched the videos, so the instructions made perfect sense and installation was not an issue. Took about 4 hours because I was cross checking everything. I pulled on to a flat surface to make sure everything was adjusted properly. We started our journey back and had no issues. The trailer was heavy, but the hitch made the trailer pull like a dream. Easy to steer, no white knuckles and no sway. We went up grades, down grades and maneuvered into so pretty tight spots. Wy wife wouldn't let me drive over 65 and we were passed by hundreds of trucks going 75 and 80. You could feel the big rig truck coming and going because now we are a big sale. But, the trailer stayed right behind my truck without so much as a twitch that I could feel. The hitch is just amazing and I would recommend it to anyone hauling a decent size trailer.

Fantastic customer service from a great company. The ProPride 3P is a great hitch and fully eliminates sway. Three years and 30,000+ fully-satisfied miles!

I can't say enough about this ProPride 3P Hitch. It's simply a game changer. I was pretty happy with my previous hitch. In fact, 90% of the time, it suited my needs just fine. It's the other 10% that caused me to look into other options. I live in the Northwest where 80+ mph speed limits are common. When pulling my TT, I would not exceed 65 mph. Anything above that and the trailer felt squirely. The problem with this is that when traffic flew past me at 80+ mph (especially trucks), things got very uncomfortable. As a result, I would spend hours planning routes that avoided interstates with these higher speed limits. This often added hours to my travel time. And there were times that I simply could not avoid them, and had to white-knuckle those stretches. All this meant that by the time I reached my destination, I was pretty stressed. Strong winds were the other issue with my previous hitch. I would watch the forecasted winds enroute and would delay my trip if they were planned to be anything more than 20mph or so.I just completed my first 2,000 mile round trip with the PP hitch. Wow!!! Just as they say in their marketing materials, it doesn't limit sway, it eliminates it! I regularly cruised along at 70 mph, and occasionally 75 mph when passing, and this was a non-event. I no longer avoid the interstates, meaning much more direct routes. On the return trip we had an 11 hour travel day as we were trying to get ahead of some weather. I never would have even attempted this prior to the PP hitch. But with the PP hitch, it was actually a very comfortable ride!During this last trip, we stayed at 10 different locations. This meant that we got plenty of practice hitching and unhitching. This became much easier and felt natural after the first two tries. As others have said, the key is aligning the stinger and receiver angles both laterally and vertically. If you take the extra two minutes to do so, the actually hitching becomes a non-event.I would highly recommend this hitch to anyone that's still on the fence.

Purchased and installed my ProPride hitch on our 2850BHS Aspen Trail and for spring break took our annual 3,200 trip to Florida and back. And I can say hands down what a difference from my old WDH. Never a worry with trucks passing you and the side winds. Can t wait to get back on the road with it. And customer service is hands down the best I ve ever dealt with. I would recommend this hitch and company to anyone.

Towing a 33' Keystone Bullet with a Ram 1500. Had the dealership install my ProPride 3P and decided to go with the 1400# bars for future trailer upgrade. During a 700 mile first tow, trailer towed flat, straight, and true. Claims of sway elimination are true. Couldnt feel any movement when Semi's past, or during heavy rainstorms. Will NEVER tow another bumper pull travel trailer with anybother hitch. Customer service, advice, and information is second to none. Would highly recomend this hitch to anyone.

This company is beyond top notch!! What I see from them on a daily basis on the FB page and my interactions with them since becoming a customer is better than top notch. ProPride sets the standard on how customer service should be. They really have created a family among their customers and I am proud to have their products and be a part of that family. Their 3P hitch is better than advertised and I 100% trust the safety of my family and the families of others on the road with their hitch. I will never tow another travel trailer without my 3P.

I used to own a hensely arrow hitch for my camper it was alright but hard to hook to and no weight distribution. I recently bought a pro pride p3 weight distribution hitch what a difference easy to hook up. With the comfort of control and absolutely no sway. Love this hitch.

We love the ProPride! We have had ours since April 2021 and it s been a night and day difference. Before our ProPride, our RV had horrible sway! It was so bad that it was a dangerous white knuckle driving experience every time. AFTER we installed it .wow! No sway, no FEAR on the highways! The trailer was rock solid behind our truck with zero sway. I HIGHLY recommend this hitch to all my friend and families and really anyone who will listen that gas an rv! Top notch product and unbelievable customer service!

Pulled my 7,000# Wildwood Heritage Glen from Michigan to Montana, Idaho, and Utah last fall all through the Rockies and across South Dakota in 40 mile an hour winds. I ve experienced a sway event with my old sway control friction hitch. Not fun! ProPride 3P is an entirely different level of sway management. Truley effective. And extraordinary customer support and service. Love it!

Love this hitch, support is excellent as well. We have a 34 foot airstream that we pulled 3 times(max of 1 1/2 hrs), I thought no doubt I couldn't drive with it anymore. Installed this hitch and it's like a different trailer. Very manageable now, we have been on numerous longer trips now. Before I was worn out after an hour long drive, now I have driven 7 hours several times and still had energy to mow the yard after. Just know that if you have a low riding trailer, this hitch does eat up some of your ground clearance. Not going to be an issue for most, but just something to know. Thanks so much guys for the work you are doing!

Being new to RVing and concerned with sway, I embarked on discovering what could be done to make towing as stress free as possible. This led me to investing in a ProPride 3P Hitch. The packaging, quality and customer service is top-notch.Installation: Be prepared to allocate four to six hours to install and setup the hitch properly. My biggest challenge was installing the weigh distribution jacks within the specified range of 24.5-to-27.5-inches from the center of the trailer coupler due to the electric trailer jack and propane tank assembly. Even after moving the propane tank assembly as close as possible to the trailer jack, raising the tank plate half and inch, and having the plastic tank cover straddle the front U-bolts of the leveling jacks (the latter suggested by ProPride), the best I could do was 28.5-inches. ProPride said the hitch would function at 28.5-inches. IMHO, having the plastic tank cover straddle the front U-bolts is more acceptable than ideal. The 3P Hitch s biggest cons are its cost, weight, and hitching on slanted terrain. The cost is multiple times more expensive than load-leveling hitches. If the hitch prevents just one accident, the investment is justifiable. Being able to tow a travel trailer with less stress and in windy conditions when others cannot is also valuable. The 3P hitch is understandably heavy it needs to be for strength. Before and after tongue weight measurements showed an increase of 200 lbs. A CAT Scale visit and Spring Bar adjustment(s) got the Rear GAWR of my half-ton truck was under its limit of 4,100 lbs. Three-quarter and one-ton truck owners are unlikely to exceed their rear GAWR. The Stinger too the section of 3P Hitch that goes into the receiver and 3P Main Hitch Unit (MHU) is also heavy. It weighs approximately 65 lbs. and is the section one removes when not towing.Next, given the Stinger couples to the MHU via a square connection, the stinger must align with the MHU like a key into a lock. Meaning the alignment of the tow vehicle and trailer is more demanding compared to hitching with a traditional ball and coupler. On level ground, hitching is relatively easy. However, on slanted terrain, gravity pulls the MCU toward the lower side of the trailer. To get around this, I keep and use a stick to hold the MCU in position much like a kickstand on bike. Fortunately, slanted RV sites are uncommon. Note: retracting the load-leveling bars primarily changes the pitch of the MCU not the roll so much.To summarize, if you want the best sway control hitch on the market, I recommend ProPride s 3P Hitch and the company itself for its outstanding customer support.

By far, this is the best hitch ever. Just returned from pulling my 30 ft camper to the upper peninsula of Michigan with my Ford F-150. We experienced some high wind driving and this hitch was outstanding. DO NOT hesitate to buy this hitch. All white knuckle driving is eliminated. Thanks ProPride. And thanks to Dan's Service Center in Elkhart for the great service with installation. Couldn't be happier.

1st class company. Excellent products and excellent customer service, if I could give them 10 stars I would. We love our ProPride hitch, worth every single penny, best investment I have ever made in RVing. Simply the Best hitch ever! NO more sway and white knuckle driving. The journey is every bit as enjoyable now as the destination. Semi's passing? windy? don't even notice anymore. Don't hesitate you will not be sorry.

A ProPride Hitch is one of those things you may not realize you need until you have one. We just got into having a trailer back in September 2020 and fortunately purchased a used Airstream that already had one on it. While I had heard that nothing pulls like an Airstream , I had heard from people the horror stories of sway and nearly flipping their trailer due to high winds and the like. Pulling our trailer with the ProPride is such a breeze. I would recommend seeing the hitch as an investment in peace of mind. We have pulled our trailer since through high winds and just have not experienced the sway or side to side motion that I have heard from others. You can tell the entire hitch setup is built to last and that someone spent a lot of time making sure it will last for many years. Regardless of whether you are new to camping or been doing it for a while and tired of that side-to-side uneasiness, I recommend ProPride 100%.Lastly, their customer service is fantastic. I contacted them recently with making changes to our setup because we just installed larger tires on our trailer and they took the time and addressed every question. In summary, ProPride in my opinion is everything you hope for and want in an "American Made" company. Keep up the great work guys!
