Drove almost 2 and a half hours (from traverse city) to look at and test drive a truck an hour before closing. Let them know a day beforehand and said they would be happy to see us, and the truck was still available. We showed up, and Carson was happy to greet us with the truck ready to go. He was honest with pricing and how long the vehicle had sat on the lot and didn't try to sell any extras. Caryn in financing was also super awesome to work with. Both Carson and Caryn went above and beyond to make sure we drove home with the new truck, which we did. They stayed until 10pm to make sure we were taken care of. Would not hesitate to make our next vehicle purchase here!

Great experience, A.J. Helmus was our sales person. No pressure, he went way above and beyond. I caught A.J. actually polishing the exhaust pipes on a truck while the new owners were waiting for financing. Never in my life have I watched a sales person polish the truck and tail pipes after the sale. Good job A.J. Thanks for the good experience. I really like my truck.

Called about a vehicle on the lot. Asked why it was still available after 6 weeks on the market and why the price was so low. Told salesman we were looking for a well maintained vehicle. Told him we were driving from 2 hours away. Was told vehicle was in the excellent condition. Took time off work to drive the 2 hours to dealership. Got there and it was a smokers vehicle, trim pieces falling off, and evidence of mice under the hood. I don t appreciate that the salesman was not honest about the condition that the vehicle was in.

My last four of my family's vehicles have come from them COINCIDENTALLY. No nepotism. No allegiance. Just the best deals in used cars. Just the greatest selection in the West Michigan area. The fact that they make the transaction easy is a bonus for free.

Would highly recommend avoiding this dealership. The three year old, $35K used car I purchased wasn t even safe to drive off the lot. I had a detailed conversation about the inspection the vehicle went through with the dealership, since I was going on a 400 mile trip back home right off the lot. The sales person told me about their 180 point inspection and how the mechanics are incentivized to repair and replace whatever is needed. After a couple of hours of driving I started to notice some issues. Turns out that three different ball joints were extremely worn and at risk of failure. Both front shocks were in need of replacement, on one shock the shock piston was snapped in half. The bushings on the UCA s were in need of replacement. On top of that there seems to be some electrical problems as the TPMS, clock and nav system are malfunctioning. So far the repair costs are north of $3K and I ve been without the vehicle for close to a month waiting for parts.There s no way that anyone who works on cars could have missed most of these issues. Checking for play in the front end while the car s on the lift easily revealed the majority of the problems we ve found so far.To make matters worse I paid full price because the sales person told me that there was another person in line to buy the car. In retrospect, this was likely untrue.It s been a long time since I ve been worked over this bad on a purchase. When ball joints separate it can cause a bad accident, and these were really bad. I feel lucky that this didn t turn out worse. My attempts to reach out to the dealership have been met with silence. Hate to leave a review like this but hopefully others won t be as stupid as I was and make a purchase from this dealership.

I recently had work done for 2 recalls on my 21 Santa Fe Calligraphy. One of which was a second software update on the DCT transmission. I waited while the work was done. It was completed in 1 1/2 hours and now it operates like when it was new. Good job Elhart! I left the dealership very happy.

They do good work but I am beyond frustrated that after 3 months and 15,000 miles they still don't have an eta on fixing my OnStar module which controls over the air updates, connected services and SuperCruise.

Fantastic dealership to go through to buy a car! My husband and I both bought cars through them recently and all the employees were friendly, helpful, efficient, responsive, and great to work with. Quite honestly I don't like being pressured to buy a car, and Elhart did a great job at being honest and keeping the price/cost barebones and reasonable. WAY better than my experience with other dealerships in the Grand Rapids area who tack on extra fees for "location" and treat you like a fish in a shark tank. Definitely go see them at Elhart!

Words Cannot describe on how we had such an AMAZING experience at Elhart! Specifically with Caryn and Junior de la Rosa!! My boyfriend and I went into Elheart on a wednesday about 2 hours before they had to close for the day because we were in desperate need of a replacement car since ours is super old and doesn't work. The moment we walked into that building We heard "Welcome Friends can I help you with anything today" when I noticed where it came from it was nice to see a friendly smiling face of a man who was coming straight twords us to shake our hand. It was Junior!! I remember literally saying "you're the famous Junior I heard so much about on the Holland Facebook page! Everyone talks about you and your wife!" We laughed and shared about that forawhile and then started to talk about what brought us in. It was so easy to talk to him and to get honest information and guidance to figure out what our next steps were going to be. Especially since we don't have alot of money for a new car in the first place. When he called Caryn over (who By the way is literally the SWEETEST person you will ever meet!!) She gave us a big hug and suggested that we should drive the car home for the night, to Fall in love with the car, and really see ourselves in it. If we didn't love it there was nothing to worry about "no one would be upset" she reminded us. We took her advice and drove it home...Guys we fell in love with this car!!!! We went back the next day of course super excited shared with both Junior and Caryn about how we felt and asked all the questions we had. They were so patient oh my lord I have serious anxiety so talking to this amazing De la Rosa team who understood and went over every single detail I needed ment the world! The next couple visits were just as great, we drove the car some more and continued to fall in love with it, Junior and Caryn worked so hard helping us get this car. Caryn worked her magic the entire time! I was stressing because it's a big investment but when I tell you guys they took so much care of us!! Thats no exaggeration. Today we officially signed the papers, this might be dramatic but I LITERALLY CRIED!!! I was so greatful for Junior and Caryns kindness, Hard work, and dedication. I couldn't hold back I was bawling they were so sweet about it too, gave us big hugs and told us they are here whenever we need them, that they were so happy to help us We took a fun Red carpet picture of us 4 infront of the new car before heading out and of course i was still crying lol. Junior shook our hands for the last time and Caryn gave us one more hug before we hopped in our new car. Before we drove off i told my boyfriend to give me like 5mins because i didnt want to get eyeliner on the car thats how much of an impact they had! I could go on and on about how much of a blessing they were to us and how wonderful they work as a team to help people like my boyfriend and I get a car Everyone seriously, if you need a car, Don't hesitate!! Please go to Elhart and look for Junior and Caryn because I promise you you'll leave there Happy!Junior and Caryn thank you both so much for all that you do and have done for not only us but for every single person you've helped

My 2007 Elantra with over 400000 miles finally broke. So I bought a 2022 Elantra. My dealer Zack was great, very helpful. Only problem is I thought I was getting remote start. Should have checked before I left the lot. We live - learn

From start to finish it was the most frustrating and disappointing car buying experience I've ever had. I tried to remain optimistic and give the benefit of the doubt, but looking back, I was taken for granted the entire way. I fully believe it was in large part to my known situation and the fact I was a young woman. I was fished along the entire way with the same assurance "... well I will definitely check with my manager..." and "... I'm sure there is something we can do..." .... but, every time, nothing happened. It was just lines I was continuously fed in order to keep the sale moving along. The salesman never had intentions of following through on any/all of the reassurances I was consistently given. I understand how sales work, because I too have been in sales, but, I never took advantage of anyone. I have too much integrity and values to go that far. I need to be able to lay my head down at night and feel good about the way that I treat other people, regardless of where they come from or what they are going through.I would never recommend this dealership and especially the salesman to anyone. I will never entertain another vehicle purchase from Elhart.

Our experience with Elhart Automotive was very positive!We came in to get information on Hyundai vehicles, test drive a few and compare it to other vehicles. Our sales associate, Kevin, was extremely knowledgeable and patient with our questions, measurements and listened to our specifications. In a strange turn of events, a few days later a vehicle that had most of our specifications came into the dealership! Kevin called to let us know and in the end we bought it. The purchase process was easy. We left after a tutorial on all the new updates etc in a 2023 Hyundai. Thanks much, Kevin and Elhart Automotive!

I purchased my 2007 Sante Fe a few days ago, it is a very nice ride. The salesman Adam was very helpful and professional. Also Jennifer in Financing was absolutely a delight to work with. Everything went smoothly and I am so glad that I went to Elhart in Holland. I recommend that anyone looking for a vehicle give them a call.

I bought my awesome Hyundai at Elhart Hyundai about a month ago and had an amazing experience with both the financial associate and her husband who was the salesman. They both treated me like they knew me since way back. We were like best friends at that point. I had purchased GAP insurance through them thinking it was a decent deal. About a month later I had found the insurance cheaper elsewhere and want to cancel through the dealership. Needless to say, the financial associate was not friendly and it was like we were no long besties anymore. Boo! Too bad for them cuz I still have a sweet car and better friends. Thanks for the rude behavior by the way.

Bought my car new with a trailer hitch. Need the hitch to pull my waive runner. They had a recall issue with it after a year. Electrical issue so disconnected the electrical after a year. It then took 2 years to find a fix for the issue. I was without a functional trailer hitch for 2 years. Brought back to dealer for oil change and to fix my hitch in June. The dealer did not have the part in for the hitch so had to order it. Still have not heard from them.

Great sales staff! We went to look at a previously owned truck we saw online and everyone we dealt with was very helpful and informative. We loved the vehicle and had such a good experience that we decided to purchase it the next day. You can tell they take pride in their work and the condition of the vehicles they sell.

From the first contact, Troy and the team at Elhart made the purchase of my new truck an enjoyable experience. Everything was prepared for me when I arrived and that made the paperwork a breeze. Bought used car and they said oil was changed as a courtesy even with new sticker in window. My kid is taking outa state for college so i decided to do a once over on car and change oil anyway. Just changed 3k on oil per window sticker and odometer from purchase date. black and broken down oil is what i observed. Deceptive and liars. Shame on the person who shirked this off on a customer. Who knows how long this oil has been in the engine. Simply wrong to lie about it.

The entire experience was the most genuine and honest car buying experience I have ever had. I came from out of state, which layers in complications and the team was able to walk me through the whole thing and provide documentation to make it seamless. It was well worth the drive to purchase the car -- I will certainly consider them for future purchases. Highly recommend!

He made sure to get the car detailed to the highest quality before sending me home with the car. He is also very easy to get in touch with and very responsive throughout and after the purchase of the car.

We came into Elhart interested in a used Hyundai Santa Fe. I'd seen it on both their website and Autotrader. We were both warmly greeted when we walked in and were walked to the salesman that I'd been told (by text) we would be working with. Zach was fun to work with, very upbeat. We we're first shown another used Santa Fe, test drove it, came back and asked for the suv I'd contacted them about. There was a little confusion as to which vehicle that was but it was presented shortly. We decided we liked this one and began the process of buying it. We met Karyn who is a great lady who handles the financing for Elhart. I told her what we were interested in as far as payment, etc. She was going to get everything ready for us and we would finalize everything the following Monday.Now here is my reason for a 4 star review. Now I have nothing against anyone who helped us. I think that this is something that dealers do and I don't think that it's right. I had mentioned that I wanted an extended warranty. It was initially presented as a 100% everything covered. Well I noticed that my payment was much higher and the term much longer than I wanted. I was because of that warranty! I came to the table with a hefty trade in and sizeable down payment which should have gotten me decent terms. I asked just how much the warranty was and was only shown the difference in payments. Once I was able to see the paperwork I saw that by purchasing a watered down version of an extended warranty, it had almost wiped out my cash down payment! Almost $4,000!! That I'm not very happy about.

The worst dealer that I have ever dealt with in my 35 years of buying over 28 cars! Bought a vehicle and the dealer committed to a I OWE YOU for something that was missing from the vehicle. After attempting to speak to the sales person for the initial reminder, i cannot get a return email or phone call from the dealer or GM. They are absolutely ridiculous to not respond at all reading a vehicle purchased from their dealership, let alone one that I paid over $40k

As usual I was quickly in and out for the service that was scheduled. The service manager also spent a few minutes talking with me regarding some general questions about my truck and its performance. Also the scheduler came into the waiting area and I was advised of several maintenance items that were observed and offered to address them now or later. The heads up on the additional service needs was appreciated. Another good day at Elhart GMC!

Elkhart, put a brand new motor in my vehicle, the were able to save me thousands of dollars. They were able to get Hyundai to cover my motor and car rental. Since they were able to do that, I used their detail service to perform a full detail on my car. Thank you Elhart!!!! I now have a brand new car. I will always service my car there from hear on out. Thank for the awesome service and smiles from all of you.
