I bought a new battery from Walmart's website because they didn't have it in stock at the Holland store and took it here to get installed the next week in the morning. I was waited on within a few minutes, got my information entered in their system and they pulled my truck in the bay area. What's nice now is that they have notifications letting you know what stage the installation is in and when your vehicle is ready. I picked up a prescription and waited a few and it was ready. Will be putting 4 new tires on my truck soon that I have already picked out and getting them installed at this location. Very happy with the service I received from the 2 people that took care of me.

Got an appointment at 7. Crew did not show up until 7:15 but I will say they did a better job than discount tire. They were knowledgeable and I found out discount has been putting on the wrong tires for years. So thanks guys might ve been a rocky start but ended well.

We got new tires at Walmart and were told that it will take an hour to get them on. It has taken over 3 hours. They simply do not have enough people working.Service: TiresService: Tires

I was there the day before thanksgiving. I communicated to the salesman (young man, maybe thirties, tall, charismatic, was married) that I wanted new tires so I didn't risk hurting my baby nephew while he was in my car since the roads had been so bad lately. Everything was fine until one of the mechanics communicated to me that he didn't think I needed new tires, because mine were great. The salesman came out and told him to leave, then informed me that the only reason the mechanic said that was because he was "Lazy". I told him that i had changed my mind about getting new tires, and he basically told me that if I wanted to wait until I killed my baby nephew by sliding off the roads because I didn't get snow tires, it was no skin off his knuckles. I went home crying, and I will not be returning. If I could put 0 stars, I would.Service: Tires

What a terrible first experience at this Walmart Auto Center. I had two tires shipped to the store and upon arriving was yelled at by someone who said I couldn't come into the bay. He later admitted that he forgot to put chains up on that bay.In the office, I was talked at by 3 people simultaneously while the service writer was trying to explain the work to be done. He could not explain it very well to me, misquoting the price of a few things, and he didnt seem to understand how his tablet worked when I asked to see. When picking up, I had a few questions before paying. The cashier in auto was pretty rude and impatient, and very passively called a mechanic over as if it was very inconvenient. Again, one mechanic yelled rather than speaking normally, and just kept repeating "it's synthetic" but not really answering what I was asking.I noticed on the invoice the oil was 3.7 qt; this is incorrect, and I asked about it. Again, a big sigh from the cashier. The mechanic looked in the book and showed me that it was indeed wrong, and should have been 3.9 qt. We agreed that the tech just looked at the capacity in liters. I do know there is a TSB for this model that specs 4.4qt, but clearly the Walmart service manual is not updated to reflect this. So, depending on how you figure it, they shorted me between 5% and 15% of my oil, and it was not even full according to the dipstick.Just a really unprofessional shop with zero basic communication and customer service skills. The only positive about this visit is that I have two new tires. I will never be going back to this shop for any service though.Other points:One of my indicator bulbs is out, but their "multi point inspection" marked it as fine, so obviously they just skipped some of the checks.I got the Roadside Warranty, and one of the DOT numbers for the tire was written wrong. This might present issues with the warranty in the future.Services: Auto tire replacement, Oil change

Rude service from beginning to end. I'd rather pay a little more and be treated with kindness. I gave two stars because they preformed the work, however the auto tech called me a "fancy lady" for requesting a synthetic oil change. I doubt a man would be spoken to in a similar manner.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I had did a online order for some tires, there were 6 cars in the bay and only two guys working and let me tell you, they were fast as hell. Jeff running the counter and Kendrick out there doing it all. Kendrick is great. Have patience when you go. You the whole world has a shortage of workers. And these guys did like six cars in 40 mins I swear. With only two people. Service: Tires

I would leave 0 stars if it were an option! I made an appointment for 6:00pm, arrived at 5:45 and was informed everyone in the service department had gone home at 4:30. I had driven 30 minutes one way so I wasted an hour of my day not to mention my gas. I was unhappy to say the least and ask to speak to a manager. She said sorry that happened, I can schedule you a new appointment. She didn't seemed concerned or even ask what she could do to make it right. Bottom of the barrel customer service right there and no I won't be making another appointment there ever.

This place is a joke! Me and my wife hit a pot hole and popped a tire! Called walmart at 6:00 to see if they had a new one and told them as soon as roadside assistance came to put on the donut we would be there! Its a 10 minute drive! So we get there at around 6:20 and the took forever to check me in finally they did and took my wheel and started fixing it! They did everything, except put the tire on the car, they told me to pay for it so i did then at 7pm the guy starts shutting the garage door and i asked them are you gonna put my tire on the car, they told me they were closed and to come back in the morning at 7am and they will put the tire on the car and just leftService: Tires

Depending on the location the value for service is great. However the Grandville location is understaffed.

Well we pulled up for an oil change, were treated rudly because we didn't pull up to the right lane. I wouldn't have minded if I would have been my mistake and I missed the sign but nope just poor management. Then we pull the right lane and the lady knowledges us and says she's be with us in a minute 20 mins later and I'm still waiting. They are not busy, working on one car. I would never recommend this terribly run establishment. No customer service whatsoever.

I've ordered tires twice from the online website. The first trip in to get my back two tires replaced went smoothly, I was in and out within a 30-45 minutes. This second time I went in to get my front tires replaced, it took them an hour after pulling my car in to even start working on it and another hour and 15 minutes to change out two tires. I got there at 9 with little to no line in front of me.

Went into Walmart 1 week ago for a basic oil change because they re one of few places that are open on Saturdays and don t require an appointment. I was told it would be less than $20 and take an hour or 2 because someone was ahead of me. Deal! After 3 hours of not getting a call, we were done running errands and headed back to check the status. At that time, I was told that they had tried to reach me about not having the correct oil filter for my car, though I never received a call. The tech, Marcus, said to come back 1st thing in the morning and they d take care of it. I work during the day so I couldn t come back until Wednesday evening. At that point I was told that they couldn t fit me in, and that if they didn t have my filter, that meant I had to buy my own and bring it in. At the same time, the tech Alejandro showed be the book they had to look up filters and said my car just didn t exist, because it wasn t in their book. Granted both techs so far were friendly, at least. Meanwhile, if you walk into the store, there is a book to look up filters that is more updated and has correct information. Fast forward to today, Saturday. We went to NAPA and bought a filter to bring back to Walmart. Brought it in and told them we wanted the basic oil change (that I d been trying to get for a week). 3-4 hours later, again no call, so we returned. The cost (after providing my own filter) was $28.xx. When we brought up the price discrepancy, we were told that they assume that when a customer says basic oil change, they mean full service . That means they check the fluids and lights and top everything off, as well as vacuum your vehicle. I was willing to give up the fight over the extra $10 if they had vacuumed my car. But, to my disappointment, the front mats were vacuumed fairly well but the back seat area was completely untouched. So, after 1 week of attempts, a $9 oil filter, and a $28 oil change, I wasted more time and money for terrible service than I would have by going to a dealership. Never again.

I DO NOT recommend going here for anything, yes it's cheaper... But the service is terrible! They told me it's first come first serve, i understand that, i was there every day of the week to get my flat tire fixed, they told me every day i went it would be at least a 4 hour wait. I go in saturday morning once they opened, what do you know, another 4 hour wait when only me and another person was there. They told me they don't do appointments, i asked how is it a 4 hour wait when its only that customer and me. He said, well we have people coming in at 8:30 to get new tires and you're not going to want to wait 4 hours just to get a flat tire fixed.

Online Sunday hrs shows open 7am. Arrived 6:50 to see sign stating opens at 9am...2hrs wasted. Return at 8:45 and was checked in, said it would be an hour. Finally, completed 3 hrs later. 5 hrs for and oil change. Not worth it. Also they did not replace the window sticker. Wasted half a day..Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Went there to get a new tire, we were told it would be about 2 hours, not a problem. The problem came when a very slow moving white male mechanic seemed to be more concerned. with his coffee cup than finishing the car (that came in AFTER we did). When I asked another mechanic how much longer before our car was taken care of? He also confirmed that the black SUV that the slow mechanic was working should have been done AFTER my ONE tire was done since we were there FIRST! In the future I will refuse to not have that slow mechanic touch my car!

There is a couple good workers that are very friendly & helpful, the rest of the dudes act like you re not there. It usually takes at least 20 minutes for someone to come and talk to you, and they act like you re a huge inconvenience to them the entire time. At the bare minimum it takes around 2 hours to get your oil changed.

If I could give Markus and his team a zero, I would. We sat at Walmart for three (3) hours only to be told that they could not perform the oil change and we need to take the vehicle to the last mechanic that serviced it. Markus was not only unresponsive, but he was slow and acted as if he had a higher stature than his team members and his customers. I would highly suggest you take your vehicle to another mechanic; anywhere but here.

I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I came at a time when the tire shop wasn't busy, so that's something.A note: this is about the cheapest place you can get service done, which comes at a cost. For some, this will be time, others, inexperience. But if you come here to get service, understand that you aren't going to the best of the best to get things done.I purchased 4 snow tires from Walmart's website and came here to get them mounted. I called before hand and they were kind and helpful on the phone. They informed me they do service on a first-come, first-served basis. You drive to the side of the store and there is a customer entrance by the tire shop. They get your information in the shop and then have a waiting room to sit in (or you can walk around the store). The seats in the waiting room are about the worst you could have (metal benches), but what can you do.No problems other than them taking a bit to get them done. Started at 3:30 with a couple people in line in front of me. Finished at 5:45.The biggest problem is perhaps understaffing, as they had plenty of room to be servicing more cars, but only 3 techs working.

Prices are affordable but the guy who helped me had a terrible attitude. He was working in the garage so I get it.. They aren't in customer service but they could still talk to people with some respect.

Went there today- I have a nail in my tire and could hear the air coming out of it. Since it is Sunday this is about the only tire repair place that is open.Went inside and the worker went to go look at my tire- mind you it is raining. He said it would be about 4 hours- which I said that was okay.He comes back inside and said that he couldn t see the nail. So, I told him I would pull it up and show him where it was and he said he doesn t want to fix it now because he is already wet from the rain. Hoping my tire makes it until tomorrow morning. WORST costumer service I have ever experienced.

Been a customer for years, and yes they are slow. But I know that going in. I try to plan accordingly, like a 2+ hour plan. Or I stop in early, first thing in the morning so that I'm likely the first in line. They do decent, slow work for a very reasonable price. If you stop in on the first day of snow, expect a long day.

Pretty disappointed in Walmarts tire and lube place. We needed to get tires on one of our vehicles, so my husband has been trying to call several times over the last 2 days and no one ever answered. Called back and talked to customer service, some lady said he would get a call back within the hr. Never received a call, so drove the 30 minutes to Walmart, only to find out that the tire and lube place was closed early at 4pm. I understand being short staffed and all, but come on.. you are going to keep losing loyal customers this way. Needless to say, we took our business to BelleTire in Holland

Very slow location, if you're going to have work done here it's best you make plans to drop your car off and go do something for a few hours. When dropping off your car, instead of taking your information, and keys at the counter inside you have to stand in the garage where it's loud, I don't know why Wal-Mart has it set up in such a way. The good thing about this place, and the reason I've gone here before is that you don't have you stand there and listen to employees try to sell you things the entire time(my least favorite part of an oil change). The employees have always been friendly as well.

1/1/2021Dropped my truck off for an oil change and tires with only one person in front of us and they sent both people to lunch that where working on my truck. (They said it would only be an hour.)While we where waiting in the waiting room I watched three of the technicians stand around and talk. Two females and one male. The work started at 11:15 and it is currently 1pm and the truck is not done.Last time on come here.

Went for an oil change December 19th 2020. Lady manager "short fat one" (dont know her name)Told me with an attitude told me you "i" couldnt get an oil change because my driver side window didnt work. Told them I just bought this car "beater" and all the other windows work just fine. Again with an attitude was told cant do nothing for me. So people dont spend your money with a company that think it's ok to be shi++y to customers. Thank you walmart for instructing me to spend my money at meijers ain't never gonna spend another dime here.

Employee I spoke to on the phone was rude and acted like I was bothering him. I ordered tires from walmarts wesbite delivered to the store. Unlike the store in Plainwell this store does not.allow appointments . So wasted my day there only to be told I don't think we are going to get to you today. Today I am going to Plainwell where they are getting me in right away. This store always seems to be dirty employees rude and very unaccommodating. I understand the reputation Walmart has but these people make no effort to change that like Plainwell does.
