Had bought brand new battery. Had oil change at oil change facility. They checked said it was not in the cold crank range it should be. So went back to auto to have them check. They could not check because their equipment will not check under different cold crank temp. It's written on the battery that they sell. Their battery checker will not it only checks at zero temp. Very disappointed. Should have better euipment if your going to check battery other than bad or good. Otherwise very good people and friendly no other real trouble with other products.

I ve been there a few times and Angela (who I think is the manager) has horrible customer service skills and quite frankly is down right unpleasant. Each time I ve been in she s been argumentative and abrasive when I ask questions, I m asking because I don t know, and I looking for guidance. She didn t stop to listen to me but rather continue to interject and treat me as if I m supposed to know. I ve also witness this behavior when she works with others. I m finding either another location or another place shop. At least Google doesn t talk back, it educates and doesn t give attitude.

AutoZone has been a long time Staple in the Holland area I like to go there because there's never a long wait and they usually always have what I need and usually the prices are comparable if not even sometimes better to shopping online and if they don't have the parts you need at the store you're at it can sometimes even get them from stores across town or in the area but they're always glad to help it seems. It's my go-to stop anytime I need car parts.

The staff here were so kind from the second I walked in the door. Angela was so helpful and the guy who put in my car battery was so nice and it did it so fast. Would highly recommend this autozone

The Commercial Manager Ashley here at the James St Holland location is the absolute easiest to deal with and always makes sure I am taken care of within a timely manner. She will go out of her way to make it happen which in-turn makes me order more parts from this specific store. Autozone is great and should realize she is a great asset to this specific store.

I just met the most amazing customer service rep from AutoZone on James Street. If you need help, Pops is the man to see. I had my.whole system of starter, battery, and alternator checked. They tested fine but he noticed how badly corroded my battery connections were and offered to clean them for me. Thank you so much Pops! You are a gem!

Honestly, the other reviews about the staff are right on the money! So friendly, helpful, and quick! Big shout out to Abbi, who helped me find wiper blades quickly and helped install them on my car, along with Kefor (not sure if that was his name, sorry!). They were SO kind!I know that staffing is hard these days and most people are not in a great mood, so it was really lovely to have the experience I did today with the staff. I will definitely be back!

Here I have always found happy, helpful service. They make maintenance on my car much easier. I don't have to do all kinds of research and make tons of decisions because when I come in they will tell me what parts are best for my specific car.

I am so grateful for Steve Raebel and the team! I was stuck at the Holland State Beach over the weekend when my car died. He was extremely helpful when I frantically called. He was able to identify the battery I needed right away and assured me everything was going to work out. He was friendly, professional and very empathic. When you have car troubles, and you re in a rut, it s so comforting when a store associate listens and is helpful to you. When I got to the store, he and his staff were extremely friendly, professional, kind and fast. I was able to get my battery replaced in the parking lot which was super convenient, especially since I m not from the area. I highly recommend visiting this AutoZone anytime you are in or around Holland! The store was also very clean and followed CDC protocols. Thank you so much Steve and AutoZone! You saved my car and my weekend :)

This store has the friendliest staff. They seem to always be willing to help and answer any questions you have. They will even call other locations to verify parts are actually there vs having you run all over. Super nice!

I would give John and Joe more stars. I was traveling to Chicago for a flight. My car battery died at the Sam's club near by and the wonderful attendant jumped it for me. I headed to the nearest autozone with quiet a bit of distress. I was so panicked when I got out of my car. John was so calm and helped me pick out a battery. He installed it for me too. He is the kindest soul and I'm glad to have met him. Because of John, I made it to Chicago and seattle. If the store owner sees this, you better do everything you can to keep him (vacations, raises, lunch everyday, do something). Also give him and Joe a raise. I'm so thankful. Thank you John, and thank you Joe!

Ashley was a life saver! I ordered rain guards for my car online to be shipped to my home. I couldn't get them to go on and when I went to the store she let me know I had ordered the wrong kind. She was extremely helpful in returning the wrong rain guards and ordering me new ones. She's even going to put them on for me when they come in in a few days. Thank you for having such a confident female employee!!

I needed help with my air conditioner. I thought my refrigerant was low in my 2003 Envoy XL. The staff helped me with locating the R-134 and the correct input valve. Before I used the refrigerant I noticed That my AC compressor belt was missing (must have broke and fell off). I returned the refrigerant and bought new serpentine belt and AC belt. The staff were fast, friendly and knowledgeable. No hassles.

(Read to the end)The staff here is quite friendly and does their best to provide solutions to customer issues with the resources they have available. Bonus points to the staff who are working on their ASE certifications and I will often ask them a challenging question to help them build that knowledge base. I used to do automotive engineering and the more everyone understands about their car and how it works, the less money we waste. Two important pieces of info for anyone reading this: #1. In most cases, your catalytic converter is probably just fine despite what your OBD-II diagnostic codes say. The cat is not supposed to be a wear item, it should outlast the life of the vehicle, and it has a federally mandated 10 year warranty on it from the vehicle manufacturer. HOWEVER, the two oxygen sensors in your exhaust pipes ARE INDEED wear items. The upstream O2 sensor is used for fine tuning the fuel mixture in the engine. The downstream O2 sensor is used to make sure the catalytic converter is present and functional on the vehicle. Both of the O2 sensors wear out over time as they deplete the chemistry required to make them function, slowly causing your car to run a richer mixture (upstream) and eventually trip a warning that the catalytic converter isn't doing its job (downstream). Always replace an O2 sensor before replacing the catalytic converter (which has the job of disposing of the extra unburned hydrocarbons in the form of carbon dioxide and heat for the most part). Typical service life of an oxygen sensor is 60,000 to 100,000 miles, but I have seen them hold on a bit longer despite not being as effective as a new one. Save your money, change an O2 sensor before changing a catalytic converter.#2. When buying spark plugs, identify if you need a ball tip connector (common) or a threaded post connector (uncommon). If you need the ball style connector, DO NOT purchase a spark plug that can do both. The threaded ball nut on the end will often slowly unthread it self from the post and

Absolutely amazing service! My windshield wiper blade flew off my van while driving in a snow storm today, I bought 3 new ones this past Friday. I walked into the store and all the staff there helped me with no questions asked! They replaced my missing wiper and made sure the other two were safe and secure! Thank you to the amazing staff at the James St location! My self, my husband and my kids appreciate all your help keeping us safe and able to see :)

I needed assistance. My engine light came on while driving. I was told they have a diagnostic tool to read the code relating to that. Robert, is the guy who took care of me. I was flustered and he took the time to explain the printout, what it meant and how to remedy the problem. Also, explained how it could be a old code that was never cleared. I appreciate his assistance especially because I m one with very, very limited car knowledge. That s why auto zone/Robert gets a 5 star rating!
