Joe has taken care of my car on 3 different occasions now. Each time he has been quick and efficient, minimizing my time off the road. He is honest and reasonably priced. A faithful mechanic and hidden gem in the Highland area!

Joe had great communication and got my vehicle back on the road quickly. I was on a tight budget, and Joe was honest as far as what work needed to be done immediately, and what could wait until later. I highly recommend Northside Garage.

Joe is seriously awesome! Had my car done way faster and for much cheaper than expected. Got right back to me on price. Was open and up front about everything. I feel confident in the work he did, and that my car is now safe to drive. I will definitely be taking my car there again should anything else happen. I was worried, as I'm a young woman, and we all know how that tends to go with mechanics. However, I felt Joe was super respectful and honest about what really needed to be done. They fixed our old Ford Flex a couple weeks back when we brought it in sounding terrible. They seem to do it all there when other places told us it was useless, not to mention other places telling us the wrong things were wrong with it. He set us straight and showed us the said part afterwards. I think anybody is generally weary of service when they pay a bit but this was far better in my experience than other known branded shops around town. We didn't even know they were there either, hopefully more business finds it's way to them.

I am very pleased with Northside Garage. They did a great job repairing my older Chevy truck. Very thorough, they made sure that I was well informed and discussed all of the repairs with me. They found a couple of additional problems while they had the truck and gave me the opportunity to have those items fixed as well. They were very friendly and easy to work with. I have taken a few of my vehicles to Joe, and his fabrication skills are second to none. He recently made a complete manifold back custom exhaust for my 94 Jeep wrangler and I couldn't be happier with it.

Great service, thanks Joe!!The brakes failed on my car from a corroded right rear brake line on a Monday afternoon. Contacted Joe Tuesday and after explaining to him that it was my only car, he had it on the hoist late that day and finished by 9:30 that night!!Thanks again, I'll be back!!Service: Brakes

I went in for an exhaust leak and some other general maintenance on my truck. Joe was incredibly helpful and walked me through every step of what he was doing and why. Took my sons Jeep Wrangler to North Side for diagnosing. Joe s was great working with and communication back and forth was great. I won t use anyone else going forth for future service. North Side was recommended to me by a friend. My experience with them was great! The owner diagnosed the issues with my 2015 Ford Explorer and was very thorough. He was very helpful with going over my options, best and worse case scenarios with regards to keeping cost and quality in mind.I would highly recommend North Side for any basic maintenance or major car repairs!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes

I brought my car in for an exhaust leak and cause my check engine light was on. Joe was able to diagnose the engine light (it had a misfire) and repair it very quickly as well as the exhaust leak. Now my car runs great and is quiet again. Plus his cost of service is so affordable. I know with any other mechanic I would have paid way more and not received as great of service as I did with Joe.Services: Exhaust, Auto engine diagnostic

I had a leak in my gas line. While the dealership tried to tell me both lines would need replaced, Northside fixed the leak in very short order, without replacing a perfectly good part, and car runs fabulously! I will definitely return if anything else goes wrong with my vehicle.

I had Joe installed an, SPE Disaster Prevention Kit for the C4 Fuel Pump onto my 2018 F/350 6.7 Power Stroke.He started around 0800 on a Saturday Morning and I was driving by 10:30 - very professional, knowledgeable, clean, reasonably priced and willing to work.Its so refreshing to deal with Professionals like Joe after so many Dealership experiences with insincere employees/clock watchers. This guy definitely cares about his business and it shows.Highly recommended.Services: Transmission, Carburetor cleaning, General repairs & maintenance

I m a backyard mechanic who does a lot of work to my three vehicles My third vehicle is older, with high mileage.A friend told me about NorthSide Garage.I had a muffler problem that I didn t want to fix in the cold, laying on my back in the driveway.Joe got me right in.They put the vehicle on the the lift and within three minutes they pointed out the four problems I already knew about the vehicle, including the missing lug nut that I had stripped the day before, while rotating my tires.I definitely needed a new muffler and tailpipe.The job was quick, inexpensive, and done right.I had already received two quotes from muffler shops and Joe beat both of them without me telling him the prices.I went to pick up my car and when I got it home, I noticed they replaced my lug nut. I know it s a small thing but it showed how much they appreciate their customers.I will be going back to NorthSide Garage with my other mechanical issues.Thanks NorthSide Garage.Ken R.

A lot of dealerships and mechanics I have had to deal with in the past always try to push things on you or fix multiple issues that aren't relevant. Joe at North side Garage was great and easy to talk to, straight forward and extremely helpful. I was recommended to him by family and would continue to recommend him to anyone else that needs work done. Great service and Great Fair Price.

Joe was great to work with when our son's car needed extensive work on tie-rods, control arms, brake work, coolant leak and a new battery to boot. There were a few other issues that Joe also identified as possibly needing attention, but was also able to advise on what could wait and what needed to be done immediately which was very helpful in this instance. The price they quoted me for the amount of work needing to be done seemed extremely fair and I know was a fraction of what it would have cost me at a dealership or some other shop. Joe kept in contact while the work was done and when they ran into significant issues that cost them extra time and effort to complete that were not expected, Joe kept to his cost estimate and did not try to come back to me for extra money to cover the extra time, which no other shop that I know of does regularly. Highly recommend Joe and his team there at Northside Garage and believe you will be happy if you trust your car to them.

Northside Garage not only did a great job fixing the A/C and coolant leak in my 2015 F-150, they were also very friendly and easy to communicate with. I would recommend them to friends and family. Joe and Ryan are fantastic!! I called Joe in a pinch and needed brakes/rotors ASAP before a road trip and Joe got me in that evening. Price was great! Work was great! Joe explained everything during the fix as I waited. These 2 brothers are something special you don't find anymore in the mechanic world. Honest, hard working and fair.. Thanks guys!

Joe did a great job on fixing my classic Convertible Dakota when it surprised me by overheating. He quickly and accurately diagnosed the real problem, made a few solid suggestions about replacing my 30 yr old hoses along with the thermostat, and fixed an issue with my exhaust. He did quality work for a reasonable price and I will be coming back to see him again in the future.
