I have been going to John's Auto for a few years and have had great service the entire time. John is very knowledgeable and will gladly refer you to a reputable business whenever the job is beyond his scope. I trust his work and auto advice.

He checked out my girlfriend heat she had it set wrong. He didn't charge her for looking. Been there myself he's good and price is always good

I cannot say enough great things. John was so incredibly kind and thorough. My dad passed away and I'm bringing his car home to SC. It has some issues, but John fixed what he could and it's safely drivable. He looked over everything on the car. Replaced a bad wire to the AC. Did an oil change and was able to seal the tire that had gone flat. It was only 128.00. He was very honest with me and I am very grateful to him. If you need a great mechanic who is honest, does excellent work, and doesn't overcharge, than this is the place you need to go. I wish he was in SC. Thank you John!! I am truly grateful to have known of this place. I had originally gone to a different shop to get my car looked at. They had told me my right lower control arm was breaking so I have to replace both sides. They never said anything was wrong with the left. Their excuse for replacing both were they re like shoes right? Wouldn t want to replace just one . As well as an alignment for a huge total of $1,200. I had a feeling something was off. I thought of a shop that my mother went to from a recommendation from a friend, it was John s Auto Care. They truly are great. He was honest and there was never anything wrong with my lower control arms it was just one of my tires getting too much traction. What was the solution? Just a simple rotation. I truly saved so much money by going to John s Auto Care. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes an affordable and honest mechanic! Thank you again! My car drives great again.

Gave Me one Price which I comfirmed the Amount before I left My Truck..when I picked up My Truck it was A $200 Price Difference and while I was there I witnessed Him tell a Woman He Couldn't align her Car because She needed a Tierod which she paid them to replace it. they still told her to come back next week..because of a bushing is bad...It's sad to see People operate like this..

This is my go-to spot for everything on the spectrum from oil changes to brakes, to what I call the oh shoot, what is it now??! repairs LOL- I ve had amazing service here every time I ve been here and I would give more stars if I could!I still remember the first time I came here- with a laundry list of things that I thought were completely shot on my car. Simon not only took great care of me, but he also let me know that only a few things needed maintenance and that was all. I was so grateful to have found such an honest and wonderful repair shop to take my car- the people who work here care, and it shows- this is a huge relief for me these days!I ve been here several times for different reasons, it s been the same great service every time, and I highly recommend this repair shop!

My Father would not go to nor trust many shops. He definitely always took his van there. I just took my car and I agree. Great work. Fast call back and great price. Will be back for few more repairs. I see many saying he is a racist. I did not see any of that. A good Mechanic is a good mechanicI was not looking for a best friend I was looking to get my car repaired. Simon and the rest of the crew were so helpful, kind, and efficient! I was greeted in the office, they listened to me explain the issue, took it for a test drive, and took care of my issue right away, getting me back on the road. They were incredibly informative throughout the process as well, which I truly appreciated. This time it was just the heat shield, but I'll definitely return to this place when it's time to get my exhaust replaced.Service: Exhaust

I paid John's to hang a new exhaust system that I provided. I received it back dangling off the vehicle and was told that's the best they could do. Upon furter inspection I noticed they did not Weld it together but merely glue it together. The o2 bung had a spark plug mashed into it. The lowest part of my exhaust is 2" from scraping the ground. My request for a refund was denied. I would recommend finding a competent mechanic since these guys clearly are not.Service: Exhaust

They looked at my sons car and didn't end up charging anything because the cars was not repairable. They were honest, friendly, and I would recommend them to anyone. I went to John's Auto Care frustrated about sensor issues related to/affecting my 2008 Torrent's stabilitrak system. From the first phone call with Simon to the time I left the shop with my car I received superior friendly and professional service. Simon and his team went above and beyond to ensure that I was provided with honest and straight forward feedback regarding the problems with my car. I left there with an overall sense of satisfaction that I had received top notch service and I will recommend them going forward to anyone needing auto mechanic services.

I ve been going here for almost 6 years now, and there s good reason for it too. The staff give you realistic estimates, and sage advice to boot. They tell you what really needs fixing and what doesn t for a while as well.(unlike most dealerships/repair places that scare you into every part you don t really need). If you want fast, quality work, by people who actually care, then come here every time. Simon is the man, he has always been professional and honest in all the years I have known him.

the people there are wonderful! they are so nice and compassionate, it's a pleasure to go there! their prices are so reasonable as well. we all have when our car breaks down we think: "how many hundreds this time" but no need to worry because they are way lower than any other place. I'm so glad I found the guys at Johns Auto! plus they stand by their work! very happy

I am very pleased with the service and quality of work at John s Auto Center. I previously went to the Certified Gm dealership and received a $1800 estimate to replaced shocks, struts, and ball joints that were not needed. A buddy of mine referred me to Johns, and they got me out the door for $50 with a simple fix of greasing the ball joint. My truck is not squeaking now and am extremely happy. I would recommend John s to anyone who wants a quality job without getting completely ripped off by a Dealership.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

I went in for something very simple! my heat shield had come loose, I went in to see Simon and he fixed it for me, no problems and very fast and efficient!! He had done work on my Jeep in the past, and it had always been a very good experience!very friendly and professional! I recommend them!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

This will be the only place I will be going to for all my cars needs. This is an honest mechanic shop everywhere I was going they were telling me I needed my back brakes done I took my car to this place and he checked them out and told me the honest truth that I did not need brakes or rotors and save me hundreds of dollars. He could have told me like everyone else then I needed my brakes replaced and got a quick dollar but he chose to be honest!!!!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo that needed much work done to it and was advised by my brother to check this place out. He's never lead me wrong so I took it there and I'm glad I did. For all the work that was done I was only charged $2500 and I'm beyond satisfied. My Jeep once again runs like a bat out of hell. Not only would I recommend this place, I'm not trusting my truck anywhere else. What an impression! I took my car in for repair to John's Auto because of being referred there by a friend who stated the shop is honest, affordable, and does quality work. My friend was 100% right on each account. Moreover, they are friendly and communicative about the repairs, costs, parts and about best options to get your car repaired and back on the road. Amazing place, very trustworthy, fast, and affordable pricing. Got the job done and for the first time I can actually say these group of mechanics did it right and correct. Most places you go as a woman they try and get over on you... nope not this place. You can tell they are friendly and family based. Thanks alot. Amazing job on my alternator on my journey... and for everyone saying hes a racist... me and my husband went in there and we are a mixed race couple... they were the friendliest, nicest, and most accommodating... treated us like family... so tall are wrong

Spent years going here and have ALWAYS been satisfied. My Wife actually recommended these guys because thats where she used to take her car dating back to the early 00's.They are very informative, helpful and have reasonable prices UNTILL...You see, as an auto mechanic, his very business model is centered around making as much money off of YOU, the "stupid' comsumer who doesn't knw any better. "Its not my fault that they don't knw about cars" is the go-to when its time for accountability.John's Auto had me fooled. I thought they were different and for the most part, they are. But if you give them any reason whatsoever and it can be something as simple as "perceived disrespect" and these guys start using the systems in laws in their favor just like the next slimeball mechanic so they are more of the same until proven otherwise and that's without even getting into the details of mine because people would tell me to sue them but instead I will just come here and spread the word

OMG they were amazing! My aunt and uncle recommend them to me so I had them do my brakes and fix my muffler not only did they do a great job but they went above and beyond and fixed some wires that had come loose. They were done when they said they would be they quoted me a price which it ended up being more to fix it but because they had quoted me a certain price they only charged me what they quoted me;) I will deff be taking my car back

Very fast, courteous, trustworthy shop!! Had my 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix repaired here 4 times. Simon has always offered the best/cheapest repair option. Was shocked to see bad reviews...I highly recommend this shop and have never experienced any racism here!
