Always happy to do business with Hastings Pro Auto. They have fantastic service, transparency, and good pricing. It can take awhile to get your car in due to their busy schedule at times, but that's common in auto repair. Once you do, they are are timely and efficient, and always willing to communicate and work with you. They're all that you can ask for in a repair shop, and have frequently gone above and beyond for my family and I, who have been using them for around 15 years.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes

Told me a pinion bearing was going out on my truck with 70k miles. I got 2 second opinions and it turns out nothing was wrong. I don't like leaving bad reviews, just be honest. 900 dollar quote

Had my van towed here as it wasn't starting. They got to it sooner than they said they could and fixed the issue. Let me know what was up and didn't pad expenses or try to get us to pay for anything extra. $90 want bad for a quick fix and a spot on their lot for a week.I highly recommend if you need auto work done in hastings area, just understand they are busy so it's best to call ahead and schedule an appointment if possible.

I love ProAuto! They are always friendly, knowledgeable, and do great work for a reasonable price. I had my vehicle up there a few times for repairs in the same month, there was a specific problem that had been missed. Instead of charging me for the final fix, they repaired it at no charge. Where else can you go where people are so willing to help? Seriously, I almost cried just because I thought it was so thoughtful of them to take care of me like that. Called last minute to have some struts put together hoping they could get me in. Luckily they could do it the same afternoon. Quoted me 100$ over the phone and when I went to pick them up 2 hours later he said it was easier then expected and only charged me 50$. That's what I call honesty and costumer service.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I had gotten my vehicle looked at somewhere else and didn't feel comfortable with the diagnosis. They gave me a $700 estimate and scheduled the repair a week out. I called Pro Auto 10 minutes after that assessment, my car was making a terrible noise, i didnt think it was safe, it was 430pm, and they said "if you get here before 5 I'll drive it, I'm booked until next week, but we will take a look."I pulled in, they drove it, found a serious problem that needed immediate attention. Even though they had already advised me that they were booked until next week i was told "drop it off in the morning, we will work it in".I dropped it off at 8am. Told work I probably wasn't going to make it in cause I was at their mercy and they were super busy. I got a call at 9:48am that it was done and ready to pick up.My $700 problem, that wasn't a problem. turned into a $100 problem that was fixed so fast. i cannot thank these guys enough for making this process so easy, and (basically) worry free. When the company down the road didnt care about the person and only wanted to make a buck, you cared about the person and got a customer for life. I would give you a million stars if I could.It is hard for a single mom living on one income to catch a break. You made my entire year with this single act of kindness...which you probably just see as "doing your job"...which makes it that much better.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The knowledge and know how, are top notch! The service is always dependable and the work reliable. The guys at the shop are always friendly and great you with a smile. The shop supports local youth organizations like 4-H, and many more! I would HIGHLY recommend Hastings Pro Auto Services to everyone!

Highly recommend. My car has been a pain in the butt, but they keep at it, and as I feel bad about they in sure me everything will work out. Plus they take the time to listen to you. I am totally greatful, Plus they are fair on pricing. So if you need your car worked on and done right Pro Auto is your place.

I have a 2017 GMC 2500 Duramax that had gone into Limp Mode do to DPF filter. They were able to fit me in and fix my truck. It took a little longer than i thought it would but that was due to part supply not the shop. They kept me informed during the entire process. Very bad experience, lied about what was wrong with my vehicle, telling me it was the control arms, and then changed there mind saying it was the rack and pinion which it was not, had it diagnosed from someone else and it was the axle that was broken, do not trust. Recommend getting a second opinion before trusting what they say..

They did some repairs for me at a reasonable price, but the tires they put on had a slow leak in them that I had to get patched.They were really nice and knowledgeable.

It has been a long time since I have gone to Pro Auto and I used to always go there but when I called and asked them about fixing a brake line for me, they told me that based on my vehicle type they would have to fix all of the brake lines and it would take two days of labor to do it and ESTIMATED over 520 dollars without even seeing the car first! Needless to say I said no thanks and called B Wilds in Hastings on Michigan Avenue. They got me in the next day and it took them 3 hours to do and they only fixed one brake line! The brakes are perfect. They did an awesome job in a timely manner and it only ended up costing 192. Glad I saved 300 dollars! Pro Auto was just trying to get more money out of me by replacing all my brake lines for no reason and taking two days to do it so I would have to pay for two days of labor! I do not recommend them!

I have had 4 major repairs done on my 2 cars over the past 5 years at Hastings Pro Auto Service. They always give you an honest diagnosis of your repair needs. I had recently moved to the area and hoped to develop a relationship with a good, honest automotive technician. I hit a home run with Hastings Pro Auto Service. Thank you Jerry and team.. i'm sure I will be back!Update 30OCT2018: Add in another half dozen repairs and still going strong. HPA is what you hope for in a quality automotive repair facility... Period. Good work and honest. I am a big fan of Jerry and crew... there is a reason that their lot is always packed full of vehicles ready for repair!
