I had my clutch fail me while I was on vacation in Silver Lake and Dennis took great care of my car! Very reasonably priced and fast turn around time. Always pleasant to talk with on the phone and great communication. I just wish his shop was closer to where I live because I would take the rest of my cars to him!

My husband and I were traveling around Lake Michigan when our car broke down. The tow truck driver gave us a couple of options and we went with Paul's. Our breakdown was on a Sunday when no shops were open. So we dropped the car off Sunday evening. They made time to look at the car on Monday. On Tuesday morning, I was told to expect the car to be ready by late Wednesday. Then I get a call in the afternoon that it was ready! When we went to pick up the car, Joe was there and explained the repair and the warrantee that came with the part. He recommended that we take the car out for a drive to make sure all was in order and then provided his personal cell number to let him know how it went. Our vehicle is a BMW and you never know who is capable of doing the repairs and if parts will be immediately available. We are so grateful to Gloria (the service writer who was so gracious every time I called for an update), Joe, (the owner who was very accommodating and empathetic) as well as the mechanic who did the actual work (thank you! I wish I knew your name!). I am so glad we landed at their shop! If I were a local, Paul's would be my go-to place!

My Jeep wrangler s clutch went out on the dunes and I called around to local places hoping to find one that could get me in as soon as possible since I m not from around here and was about to go on a summer road trip with my Jeep. I called Paul s auto & tire that afternoon and spoke with Joe and he (along with everyone else I spoke to) was extremely understanding and friendly. I explained my situation to him and that I needed a clutch repair and they got me in the next day and were very fair on pricing. I m very thankful that I found these guys and would recommend them to anyone in my situation and anyone local.

Excellent emergency service! Towed our truck to shop and fixed it very quickly very reasonable price. Will always call them 1st for needed auto repairs. Expected wait time, expected charge for tire slow leak repair. Not sure what actual issue was. No ask no tell. Repair seems to be holding, but had to let out about 12lbs air to get recommended inflation. So we'll see...

We had a great experience at Paul's, our Alternator went out on a Friday night on a Holiday weekend in Pentwater and I could not find anyone to service our car. Firs i would like to say this is not to bash anyone they are all very nice people but I have brought my car there twice for a noise i was hearing when going over a bump was told it was my sway bar so had him fixed that picked it up on a Thursday brought it back Friday bc it was not fixed the clunking was still there so they tightened then bc they got lose I spent 400 dollars it was fine for a couple weeks but then came back but worse then i went back for an oil change and full inspection bc i was planning to go on a vacation so i needed my car to be ready was told my serpentine belt needed to be replaced. He replaced that and a couple other things only charge me for my serpentine belt which was very nice. Replace my gas cap. bc it was causing the engine light to come on, put in new ball joints he said he fixed it all up and all i needed were tires well it wasn t fixed so i have someone drive it and he said sounds like my sway bar the ones they fixed twice already he ordered them like two-three weeks and still doesn t have my parts? I took it to another shop and was told my sway bar links are fine and it s probably a strut and my brakes which Dennis had told me my breaks where fine and all i needed where tired after i spent almost 800 to get it fixed the second time im a little upset bc i love my car i drive it every day and its a little upsetting when its not being fixed and im being charged for something that isnt being fixed my car should not be as bad as it with the amount of money i have put into itServices: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle safety inspection, Auto maintenance, Oil change

My can broke down near Hart, MI while on vacation. Being in an unfamiliar place I was apprehensive about where to take it in at, but Paul's auto was amazing. When they found out I was on vaca, they squeezed me in and had my car fixed same day. They even picked me up and dropped me off at my cabin. They were Courteous, knowledgeable, professional. Have gone here for quite sometime now and I always receive great service. They fix whatever problems I have and never change prices. They explain what needs to be done and repair it. Also will do a look around and let you know if you have issues or not . The owner does more than he has to and helps people that are in need too. He has worked with my extended warranty person and got my trucks axle totally replaced in 24 hours. I needed that fast of service, since my wife was terminally ill with cancer and we needed that truck. Thanks Joe for all you do.

Honest! Helpful and professional!Came to pick up a Uhal, asked them about a squeaky belt in a 2020 truck and if they wouldn't mind squeezing us in. They were happy to look and let me know which belt was the culprit. They would have changed it... but it's a special order part. ( We live 3hrs south otherwise I would come back here to have them do it.) Everything for the Uhal transaction went smoothly, trail hook up a breeze! 5 Service: General repairs & maintenance

I had an emergency and DHHS was paying for my repairs. The radiator was froze over and even tho they hung my van over night..they didn't check all my hoses..the coolant system took a stand still and shut it down and just last week I fixed a leak the system had by shoving the upper hose on tighter. They are very nice people to work with...but no matter who foots the bill I hope they look at vehicles like..if I have to put my wife in it..did I make it safe and solid for her to hop right in?

Paul s came very highly recommended to me and did not disappoint! As a woman i ve had my fair share of horrible misogynistic experiences at the mechanic and Paul s was the kind, efficient and thorough mechanic of my dreams!

Needed a water pump in a bad way and they helped on the spot. Thermostat went bad under warranty, called out of the blue got it in and checked. Ordered part serviced next day. UPDATE!!! turns out i never needed any of this replaced. They just threw 600 worth of parts at it. I return muiltiple times within a week and still never fixed the no heat issue, then told me i needed to spend more money.

Paul's Auto & Tire was a lifesaver. We were 8 hours from home on vacation when the charging system warning light came on the day before we were to return. They were able to get the parts to fix the problem and did the repairs in half a day. I don't know what we would have done if they hadn't been so great.

The guys at Paul's Auto are life savers. They made sure everything worked out. I think Dennis was the guy that helped us with a U Haul tow and he had to scramble to figure out how to help us get where we were going in a time when the rentals were all in a super high demand. Best service ever! We were in the middle of a 36 hour relay run when we noticed the valve stem was leaking on our van. The got us right in and right out! Saved our weekend!

I honestly don't know where to begin. I rented a uhaul for a move from Muskegon to Traverse City. The uhaul broke down at the very beginning of my trip. I called for roadside assistance and that is when I was put into contact with Paul's Auto and Tire Repair. As you can imagine I was very upset. The gentleman that helped me was named Joe and I can't say enough about his kindness and positivity. From our first interaction he assured me that he was going to take care of this. Once it was determined that I would need to be towed to Traverse City he was on his way. He hooked up the uhaul and we started our journey. Once we arrived to Traverse City he helped us unload the uhaul (incredible) and stayed to talk to us about his life. Honesty I know this may sound strange but I truthfully believe I was meant to meet Joe. He made a bad situation into a good one and taught me a valuable lesson about appreciating the things that actually matter. Yes, I understand he was doing his job but he went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and as if everything was gonna be ok. My parents and I both agree that we were blessed with Joe's presence yesterday. So of course I recommend Paul' Auto and Tire and the incredible Joe. Bless you.

I accidently locked my keys in my car while visiting a local restaurant after calling AAA they dispacthed paul's and by the time I was 1/2 way through my meal the tech from Paul's was in the lot and mostly into my car.He was fast courteous and did a great job popping the lock. Can't ask for more when you've got an idiot like me behind the wheel.

Not impressed manager was a scammer. had to double check all work found mistakes prices changed after work was complete. whoever the manager was walking around with Bluetooth in his ear was the most rude and unprofessional person I have ever played for a service. will not go again!!!
