Alright, I have done my fair share of traveling, but this may be one of the best gas stations I've ever been to. Let me tell you why. Inside it reminded me of a general store that you would find at a high-end campground.Let's talk about food. My wife had the breakfast burrito and it was fantastic. I had a sausage egg and cheese on a bagel and hit the spot. We stopped here on the way to Wilderness State Park.But what really made it special, as well I was standing in line, customer after a customer came in and the wonderful lady behind the register knew everyone by name. That is damn special.I find it very funny that someone left the negative review further on down about the pumps being from the '80s. I started laughing because gas is gas my friend and you're missing the point. It looks like this place is more than just a corner grocery or gas station. It looks like they supply a lot of the necessities for the community. Should be a five-star every time.I applaud the $10 minimum. Credit card companies and crazy fees have made it increasingly more difficult to sustain this kind of model. 3 and 1/2% over the period of a year adds up to crazy numbers especially for a busy place. I actually apologized because when I travel I try to make sure I carry cash for these instances. Sorry for the long-winded review but we loved our experience here.Thank you for making our day yesterday.

The Village Mart is a great slice of Michigan warm, friendly faces, fabulous home cooked comfort food, sweet treats, always some new swag, and the true hub of our Village. Stop in and say hi! They have everything you need, plus gasoline!

Nice place. We stop here before we leave to fill up on fuel and grab a soda for the 5 hour trip home. It's a nice little place, but it does give me a bit of an uncomfortable sensation... Maybe because it's kinda crowded in such a small space. Their ice cream is great!

Very nice local place. So great to have it in such a remote location.The owner is very helpful and simply a kind and honest business.They do a great job providing essential to the nearby community and deserve praise and a lot of business.

Friendly and helpful service. Hot food items in the deli and the tuna mac is yummy. Only place to get gas in the region. It s amazing all the products that fill this little store. Convenient stop by on the Tunnel of Trees route.

Excellent store with new owners. Well where do I start??? They have fresh baked goods, hand dipped ice cream, pizza, fried foods, lunch meat, and groceries lots of beverages and they now have their liquor license. This store has lots of potential and I think the new owners are the ones to take it to the next level. See you soon when we are in town we have to stop here. Thank you

I love this place. Tonya has the right stuff. Kasha has all her fresh baked muffins, cookies, turnovers. The breakfast sandwiches, pizza, biscuits & gravy, and breakfast hot pockets. All homemade, I hope they succeed in all they do. Girls you are off to a great start!!! Congratulations

Best gas station around. Homemade delicious food made fresh daily is a plus here. The environment is very friendly and the owner is very professional. Would recommend to all.

This gas station was absolutely amazing. The blueberry muffins were incredible. So incredible we went back 2 days later on our road trip

Please remove your $10 minimum on credit/debit card purchases. As a local I like to support local, however with a $10 minimum purchase I cannot do that with your business. I run a business myself in Petoskey and would never turn away a customer because of thier method of payment.

If you're out there its the only spot. Equiped with porter potties and gas pumps from the 80s. Oof. Had to update to a one star, went back recently and it's worse than before.

Love this place ! Couldn't be friendlier...so many fresh goodies AND they just got their liquor license... You'll LOVE this place...5 stars all the way
