Had to have a full rear axle rebuild and the guys did a fantastic job, were very straightforward about the additional parts needed and showed and explained the damage in depth. Although it was expensive it was far less money than expected. Going to be my new go-to for anything driveline related in the future.

The folks at drive line were able to get our work vehicle in quickly (for how busy they are) and they got our vehicle fixed in a timely manner. Andy (the one in charge), is an expert in his field and does great work! The staff were all friendly and able to answer my questions. They were able to fix our transmission issue without the need for a full rebuild and it saved us a ton of money. After we picked up our vehicle there was a ticking noise coming from somewhere underneath our vehicle, they got it back in and on the lift right away to address the issue at no cost to me. Turned out to just be a heatsheild rattling and they fixed it free if charge. Great service, knowledgeable staff, the only place I would trust with transmission/driveline work in the area!

My transmission went out while we were on vacation. The guys here were able to move some things around and get my transmission rebuilt in two days for a very reasonable price. They even suggested a good place to find a rental vehicle. They made a bad situation less painful and saved my vacation.

Vehicle issues can be frustrating, but knowing that Northern Driveline has my back makes them easier to swallow. Each time I've brought in a vehicle it was diagnosed quickly and accurately and the repairs are done in a timely manner, every time. Outstanding service. My son got a quote on his car from the local dealership and Andy was able to fix his car for $600 less then what they wanted. I called Andy Thursday night and my son's car was fixed by noon on friday. Huge help since we live 9hrs away. Highly recommend this place. Reliable, fast, and great prices. Go there with confidence. They do a fantastic job!!!!! 5 star.

This joke of a transmission shop left my positive battery terminal disconnected on my dual battery diesel causing my truck to start on fire and burn down, total loss. The owner then refused any compensation and is forcing me to file a lawsuit against them. I paid over 3 grand for them to ultimately burn my truck down. Also a friend had his battery terminal left finger tight causing his alternator to burn up the very day after they worked on it. Another friend had his truck positioned wrong on the hoist, and bent his frame when they lifted it. If you care about your ride at all go elsewhere.Service: Transmission

I would highly recommend this place to anyone. One of my friends heard it was good and I read a bunch or good reviews. I had a choice to get it done here or go home and get it done at home (I had other reasons and was going home anyways). I chose to try this shop and I am glad I did. Very honest people. Mechanics can tell you anything (especially if you are a college student who doesn t know much about cars) and charge you for stuff you don t even know about. These guys won t do that. I went in for a transmission leak and had some work done. I dropped it off a day before they needed it and had it done that day. I was called 30 minutes after dropping it off saying what was wrong and how they wanted to move forward. The price was good. Honest people, honest work, and a fair cost made me a customer for the rest of my time in Houghton. I won t go anywhere else. They won my business and I highly recommend them to anybody. The only thing I noticed is they didn t wear their masks. A lot of mechanic shops and other businesses like that are prone to having maskless employees which is fine. It doesn t bother me but it may bother others. Regardless no reason not to go thereService: Transmission

My transmission in my 2015 Buick Encore was acting up. Brought it in, they checked it out for me (fortunately I just needed a flush and new fluid) and gave a detailed report. Very polite on the phone and got to my car when they said they would! They came highly recommended from my local mechanic. If your transmission is acting up, I suggest going here, you won't be sorry!Service: Transmission

The mechanics at Jerry's are top notch. The prices are very fair at 77 dollars per hour for labor for the quality of work these guys do. Evan and Andy will take good care of you and get you back on the road quickly. I am new to the area and I would highly recommend them to any MTU students looking for good honest people to fix your car or truck. They will also give you a ride back to campus if you need one. Was in town from out of state and had issues with drive ability of my 4x4 van. Northern driveline was able to fit us in the schedule and fix the issue we were having. Very reasonably priced, very nice, would recommend to others.

This kid did me a solid. Keweenaw Chevy dealership say on my car for five weeks with no clue what was wrong with it. I bring it here and not only did I get my car in great working condition he was absolutely reasonable on his prices

Went here to get the valves lashed and clutch bled on my 2002 Subaru Forester. When I picked up my car, I was informed that they were unable to bleed my clutch and didn't adjust all the valves correctly, so some were still making noise. I was still charged $250 for unfinished work.

How refreshing to work with a shop with such high integrity. We're from out of state and broke down on the road. They could have told us anything, but it turned out to be a simple fix. They could have gouged us but that's not how they do business. We were back on the road in no time. If we lived there, they would be our go-to guys every time.

Son needed a transfer case repaired work was done fast and at a good price. Heard the sound about 10 months later, they fixed at no cost to us without any problems.I recommed them to anyone

My daughter broke down at a gas station on a Friday morning. We called and they got her in right away and fixed the problem for a very reasonable price. I live in Minnesota and was expecting a difficult experience, but they couldn't have made it easier. Thank you so much!!!

My differential blew up on Hwy 26 in middle of nowhere (Donken). Had to get towed somewhere, blindly chose Jerry's transmission and later I found out it was THE place to go. Evan was very helpful in sorting out my troubles, very prompt in getting in up on the rack, discerning the problem, ordering a used differential, AND installing it. I can't be more grateful with his professional attitude, ethics and efficiency.I highly recommend Jerry's Transmission and would go back again if ever in need.

I ve been here twice now and both times have been speedy with no BS. The second time i thought a wheel bearing was going because there was play in my wheel, but it happened to be a loose castle nut. Proof positive if you want an honest business this is it.

Was having trouble with my transfer case while on a winter trip to the Keweenaw. They got my truck on the lift first thing and I was back on the road for cheap. Great guys.
