I recently purchased a new Yamaha from a different dealer for my wife and we were in Hancock for our first ride. The snowmobile had immediate problems and M&M Motorsport dropped everything to diagnose and repair it same day! We also were able to rent a snowmobile for the afternoon and enjoy our trip! I d like to thank everyone that helped us and give a big thumbs up to a very professional dealer! Highly recommend!

I do not recommend that you use M&M Power Sports for rentals. I was planning to visit the Keweenaw and through my research I found M&M to have a good rental option, a two seat Yamaha RMAX 1000. I booked a rental for Sunday Oct 15th, and arrived that morning to find out that they are closed on Sunday. We called several times, walked around the property looking for any left behind notes, or any info whatsoever on what we needed to do, but were incredibly disappointed to find that there was nothing. We tried waiting to see if anyone would arrive, but once again no one showed up. The availability of a Sunday rental implied the ability to have a Sunday rental. As a last resort we sent an email to Chad found on the M&M Facebook page, we got no response. Luckily we were able to change our travel plans and returned the next morning. This is where the red flags started. We walked in, met someone and explained our situation. Whomever that was began using vulgar language, not a very professional first impression with your customer. We were told that we could bump our rental to that day and were taken to see the unit after paying the remainder of our rental fee. There was no offer for a discount or anything that could have helped make up for the inconvenience of not getting our rental on the day we booked it for. We were given a fairly new RMAX. I noticed the machine had no ORV tags and was told that it was no issue, to take it, and to call the business if we were stopped by the authorities. We were a bit discouraged by our experience so far but were invested and still excited for the day ahead. Out on the trail there was a severe miscalculation and the machine was rolled, we both walked away uninjured and were able to continue. We take full responsibility for the accident. The damage was not the problem, it was how M&M dealt with our predicament. We arrived back and explained what happened, they said they would examine the damage and send us an invoice. We left them with a photocopy of a driver s license and credit card. We then came to find out that the machine we were rented was already sold to another customer by the dealership, in our eyes they were not at liberty to rent that machine to us. Even if they were, they should not have sent it out on behalf of protecting their other customer. That explained the no registration nor mention of insurance on their end. We were told that the gentleman that purchased the unit had bought it because it was such low hours and so clean, I feel bad for that man. I hope M&M disclosed that the machine was involved in an accident. We left somewhat stunned but extremely grateful that we were both uninjured. The next day during the trip home we received the invoice for the damages. The total came out to almost three thousand dollars, a shocking number but not entirely unexpected. We were provided a list of all the parts including a rock slider kit because Lower rocker which is part of the frame is marked up good so we opted for the rocker guards to hide that damage(cheaper) . Meaning they cheaped out on repairs on the unit they had already sold due to it being so clean. We received the invoice and were told our card was already charged without us seeing the total. This goes against the rental terms of agreement which states: Should damages exceed the damage deposit, Lessee agrees to make payment in full immediately upon Lessor's presentation of an itemized repair bill . Yes we were on the hook for the full bill, but charging our card before we knew was a very unprofessional move. It was not the service or the cost of damages that left us so upset, it was how M&M Power Sports handled the situation and resolution of said situation. In our opinion this company is not transparent with their customers and the employees, at least the ones we dealt with, are unprofessional. I suggest looking elsewhere for orv rentals and make sure everything is set before taking the unit. I hope M&M improves their services and can learn from how our situation was handled. We do not plan on returning to this business.

I called several places looking for a tube for my 20 in electric bike. No one had them. I took a chance on the power sports and they had some on hand! Super happy to be able to go ride for Bridgefest weekend! They were not as bad pricewise either! Thank you M&M Powersports!

The only thing I wanted for Christmas was a 2-up seat for my teenage daughter. We sent both our sleds for service. While working on my sled, the mechanic with the coolest Minnesota accent explained that my wires were melted. (Backstory, we have traumatic experience with vehicles that blow up). The melted wires were close to the gas tank and minutes from destroying the electrical components of the sled. We've met many sled mechanics and M&M has the BEST! I can't rave enough about M&M. This is the THIRD time they have saved us. Thank you, Mahalo Nui.

If you are looking for gear this is THE place to go. Great selection on hand. Have numerous lines and equipment available. Very very impressed with how well kept and up to date this facility is.

When renting snowmobiles two things are important. First is quality sleds, second is great customer service. M&M delivers 100% on both! After renting in the UP for many years M&M has been my choice for the last 3 years and is my only choice for the future. Thanks to Chad and the crew, see you next year!

I have a UTV that needed some drivetrain work and the M&M service department was great to work with. They worked with the manufacturer to get the parts that were needed even though it isn't a brand that they sell, and had it done and delivered back to me in a very timely manner.

Just wanted to say that these people will try to accommodate! I lost a pop rivet on my snow flap couple years back and Radical Randy found the exact black rivet I needed to make the rest of the trip! Even the little things matter Thanks to all at M and M s motor sports!

M&M has been good to our crew this year so far. I had an issue with my M8000 telescoping handlebar with 12 miles on sled and while not impressed with Cat quality so far they took good care of me. They took the part I needed off one of their new sleds and got me on my way. I was not expecting that. One of my riding buddies had a user error (or as we call it a lack of talent) and bent up his handlebars on his M. They had a new set ready to go and swapped them out for him in 20 minutes for minimal cost. Good quick service at a fair price when we need it to keep our trip rolling. I will be sure to do more business with M&M when I want to so they are there when I need them.

I just wanted to thank the service department for their prompt and excellent service. I believe Jim is the service manager. I had an idler bearing going and he had it fixed and changed the slides before I could finish breakfast and the cost was extremely fair. Thank you for allowing me to finish my backpack trip.

I recently purchased a used snowmobile from M&M. I am always leery of this because anything can happen. After about 100 miles on the sled it had mechanical problems. I was a long distance away at dusk and distressed to say the least. I called Chad at the the end of the day and he contacted a competing dealer (Timberline Sports) that he knew to pick up the sled. M&M then took the sled back in a repaired it free of charge a few days later. I would like to say that I am appreciative the M&M stood behind the products they sell, New or Used and how they took care of me. I am also glad to see that the folks up there take care of each other no matter if they are the competition or not. Thanks again Chad!

Absolutely do not do business with these guys! I was in a pinch and they knew it when my battery went dead during deer season! They charged me $126 for a standard ATV battery for my Honda. I went back to my hometown and price checked the exact same battery at the Honda dealership and the battery they put in priced out at $34. If they sense that you re in desperate need they will price gouged the hell out of you and bend you over!!! Do not trust them especially in the repair shop!!!! This is a follow-up to Chad s lip service response pretending to care about all their negative reviews. If you read them all, they are all rehearsed and repetitive stating to just call so the problem can be discussed. This is his lame attempt to show a false intention to remedy the problem. Well, I attempted to do just that and the real Chad you get when you call doesn t give a damn! He just wants to make the reviews appear like his attempts to resolve issues are valid! He stated that he could not find the severely overcharged battery receipt on the review response however when I called him he miraculously did find it and it was sitting right in front of him. After a quick review I was found to be clearly overcharged! What did he do? Absolutely nothing!!!!! Instead, he suggested I should sell my property in the Keweenaw if I was unhappy!!! I see more negative reviews keep flowing in!!! Do yourself a favor and don t do business with these guys whatsoever! Save yourself the headache!!!

Very friendly and spent a good hour helping me find gear that fit, even as late in the season as it was. Got almost everything I needed and met with their friendly service staff to talk about getting me sled up to standard. Had a huge selection of used and new sleds to choose from.

I had an electrical issue with our farm UTV (Kawasaki Mule) that I could not figure out. M&M was happy to take a look at it. They methodically ruled out all the possibilities and deduced that the wiring harness is probably the problem. The encouraged me to have it replaced rather than spend more on labor proving it the issue. I am glad I took their advice. I had suspected the harness and pre-priced what I could get, which was cheaper than they could get, and they were happy to let me order from my source. They were right and I am back on the fields, so to speak. I was happy with their communications and approach and flexibility. Very happy.

This company has the worst customer service we have ever experienced. They rented us a 4 person ATV. We were not familiar with the area at all. They sent us out in a trail without a map. We followed the trail they recommended and got stuck. The owner Chad refused to come help get us unstuck. We called 3 times and they would not help us. We had to walk a mile in woods we didn't know to a main road. We had a man from the American Legion help us immediately. How you could leave a family stranded and refusing to come get them is beyond me. When we returned the ATV, they had no comment no apology nothing. Would definitely not recommend them for a rental!!!!

I couldn t be more pleased with this dealership and the guys that work there. Chad, Jim and John went above and beyond normal customer service. I live in St. Louis, but was traveling across Michigan s UP on my motorcycle when the front wheel bearing went out about 20 miles from Hancock. Finding a Suzuki dealer in town was a surprise in and of itself, but that they were willing to look at my problem right away made me ecstatic! Not only that, but they had the parts in stock! Two hours later (after lunch across the street), they had me back on the road again. Not only were these guys sympathetic to an outside traveler with mechanical issues, but they were actually nice about it! Thank you so much for being a dealer with such great customer service! If I lived in the area, I would not hesitate to go to M&M PowerSports for purchasing a new bike, sled, four-wheeler, or for servicing them.

I was up four years ago riding my new 2013 F1100RR when it stopped running with 100 miles on it. We towed it in there to M and M to find the CDI box was bad. They did not have the module in stock. So they proceeded to tear down a brand new sled in the showroom to remove this part which is under the gas tank and you have to tear the whole sled apart to get to it. A major repair. They dropped everything and did this repair while we waited there. So you people bashing them need to know they bent over backwards for me and got me back on the trail. I can say they serviced my sled 100%. I read these reviews and some of you people need to grow up man!Rob Talbott. Kendallville,IN

I was on a road trip with my Harley Davidson and needed an emergency repair. The people at M & M quickly got me back to safety and my vacation without charging me a fortune. Very good customer service and John is a knowledgeable technician. Would highly recommend them!

Great experience with Mike and Paul. Had some issues with my skidoo sled and they went above and beyond to assist me. Even though its not a brand they sell, they tried to help fix my throttle cable. I would recommend this shop for all you motorsports needs. Thanks again for your help today.

called there service dept m & m last year to just get the size of a bolt for rear bogeys so we could get a stranded sled out of the woods. Service guy said it was too close to closing to look it up for us on the computer. Thanks for leaving a 16 year kid stranded. Dealership in Greenland loaned us tools and gave us two bolts they thought would work, and they did. Thank you Pat's Motorsports for caring.

I rode my snowmobile to M&M Powersports in need of some serious repairs to the rear axle and suspension. The staff at M&M had the parts in stock and had me back on the trail in under 1 hour. I feltthe final bill was very fair and I highly recommend this dealership!

STAY CLEAR!!! If you are looking to get ratted out of your money or have your off road vehicle or on road motorcycle be worked on by dumb "mechanics", you're in luck, you found the right place!!! Can see them also taking advantage of anyone who is not mechanically inclined. I had brought my motocross engine here a few years back to have a rebuild done. I had taken the engine out for them because I knew something would get messed up and to save labor(but it actually did not, the price was still too high for a simple rebuild), was hoping it went smoothly though. I would have done it myself but did not have the right tools and wanted it to get done quicker, yeah right eh. Took them 1 month before I finally received it back (Called once a week, and I guess they were waiting for parts to get in) weird... Set the engine in the bike and put everything back together. Started fine, 30 mins later I check my oil again to make sure it is not dirty and at the right level, took the engine oil cap out and here comes engine oil mixed with tranny oil gushing out(The cases were not sealed properly). Brought it back, they just changed the oil and said it was "good to go". Told them up straight there were seals not sealing, they did nothing for me.

I'm really surprised at the other negative reviews on M&M Power Sports. I've been dealing with Chad for eight years with my Suzuki ATV's and have had nothing but positive experiences. His folks have kept my machines running well, he is always accomodating of my schedule and always has stuff done when he promises. I bought my last King Quad from him - his price was good as was his trade in value.I've never rented from Chad, but I plan to do so this summer.

Rented from them once and the experience was ok, but my latest experience was not so good. I was having trouble with my sled during a trip to the area, the fuel pump on my yamaha apex was not turning on. I knew the fuel pump relay was a warranty item and a common problem on these units. When I brought the sled in and explained the problem, the tech looked into my nose area and found some oily residue on the rectifier connection and proceed to tell me that i rolled my sled and this was my problem. (I have NEVER rolled my sled as I'm very careful and don't let others drive my machine, told him so, and he got argumentative and very rude and condescending, obviously not wanting to cover the warranty item thinking he was correct, conversation was actually getting heated as I don't enjoy being told I abuse my things when take great pride in keeping everything brand new and meticulous maintenance.) I finally gave in and said fine, if you think that is the problem, fix it and get me on my way. He rolled the sled in their building, cleaned the connector out, and sent me on my way (took 15 minutes, he billed me $35 for this labor). Sled started up and I left (basically sled started at that point b/c faulty frozen fuel pump relay had thawed when it was in their building, it had nothing to do with that connector in the front). I was then stranded multiple times that day and had to jump my sled repeatedly (thank goodness I carry little jumper cables) because the fuel pump relay was not fixed and was indeed the problem. A couple times my battery was so dead I had to let it hooked up to another sled for quite a while before it would crank. I brought the sled back to my hometown dealer in Green Bay, explained the problem, and they said "oh yeah, definitely the relay, and definitely covered under your YES warranty, no idea what the dealer up north was talking about in regard to that front connector". They also diagnosed my exhaust donuts as being bad and replaced those under warranty as well (something that M&M didn't even mention, but should have been able to tell by starting it up and hearing it run....had a horrible rattle coming from the exhaust). Long story short, I won't be using M&M again, but I've had a lot of positive experience from my hometown dealer (Team Motorsports in De Pere, WI).

Had a couple hiccups the first time I stopped by, however I stopped in again and the owner helped us out. He knows his product and he helped immensely! Happy to say all is good and I will return in the future.

Purchased a windshield for my 18 Arctic Cat and was wrong part. Brought in and parts guys said drill holes. I Said no it s not correct part. I Provided correct part number and he brought me the correct part and paid another $40. This was in addition to payment for initial windshield but I needed the part to ride now or would have ordered on line. Also wanted a artic cat modular helmet in gray and black with arctic cat logo. Parts guy says he only orders black because he can sell those to any sled owner and not just AC. Did not have parts or instructions for the windshield and asked about this and then they took parts and instructions from another windshield. Very poor Parts desk and I can look up my own parts and order on line from here forward if it has to do with M&M. Ordered my new helmet from Amazon.

I was touring the UP on my motorcycle with my father and uncle when it started making all sorts of noise. I luckily stopped at a gas station that was near M&M Powersports, and was directed there for help. I ended up having a worn out chain, and these guys did everything they could to get me back on the road. Since they didn't have my size, they took a chain off a newer showroom model. I can't thank these guys enough! I won't forget your generosity and hard work that saved the trip. Thanks again!

Stopped in yesterday. Mike and the guys were super helpful and friendly. Came in with a torn track and 100 miles to get home. They hooked us up and did the work in a couple hours. Enabled us to get home in one piece. This place is awesome.
