I'm so glad a friend I trust told me to go to Hamtramck and buy a car from Tom. I bought a 2007 Toyota Prius at a very affordable price. I've been delighted with the car. I had Tom service the car for a few years and then I moved to South Florida and HE STILL takes my phone calls whenever I have a question about the Prius. I had a significant problem with the car last week and Tom talked me through it. He even went so far as to talk to the Toyota dealer I took it to here in Florida. He pointed out to me and the dealer how they were taking me for a bit of a ride suggesting repairs that were not necessary! I haven't seen nor paid Tom anything in a year and HE STILL HELPS!!

Two years ago we bought a 2012 Prius from Tom after a recommendation from friends. Just took the car for an oil change today and it has another clean bill of health. Tom does great work!

Best auto dealer/garage I've ever used, hands down. I bought a Prius from them, even though I'm all the way out in Grand Rapids and would have difficulty taking advantage of the warranty their cars come with. Even with the distance, Tom went out of his way to address the minor issues or questions I've had. The level of accessibility and personal attention this place offers is really rare and very appreciated. I would definitely recommend fixing or buying your next car here.

Best auto dealer I've ever been to, by a long shot. His prices are fantastic and the warranty is excellent. Tom goes out of his way to be helpful - whether it be explaining what needs to be done (and why!) or fixing small issues as they come up. Plus he's a nice guy - making for a top notch customer experience. I would highly recommend reaching out to Tom if you're looking for a car or looking to get your car fixed.

Tom is INCREDIBLE, I can't give this place enough praise. He fixed my Lexus hybrid which needed a new battery, and completely revamped its tubing system as well. He was very communicative, had a fast turnaround, and is clearly an expert at what he does. To top it all off, his pricing was much more affordable than the other options in town. My rating? 10/5! Thank you so much Tom!

Tom is amazing, finally a mechanic that is honest, on time, extremely fair priced, and really really knows his stuff. I have brought my car to him twice now; I live in Ohio and happily figure out a way to get my car to Hamtramck, almost 100 miles away. He rebuilt my Hybrid Battery on my Prius, replaced a wheel bearing, fixed my A/C, fixed my Exhaust, and minor repairs, he is extremely well rounded and I think he is able to diagnose anything and everything very accurately.

Tom and his mother and dad have incredible deals on Pruis s That is their specialty and they know how to fix him inexpensively and I bought two of them from V K motors. I can t emphasize that this is the only place I would ever buy a Prius.

I've had better luck here buying a used car than I have at dealerships buying a new car. This place has won me over that's for sure. I bought a regular used car from them years ago and everything was great but it wasn't until my next purchase that I really learned how loyal VK auto is to their customers. My second car was a hybrid and I had a few problems due to my lack of knowledge of the car. I would call them and they would always take their time with me and make sure i was good to go.. Now looking back I realize my questions were almost pointless but at the time they were big concerns of mine and this place always spent time with me and would even go the extra mile and call me the next day to make sure everything was ok. I am very pleased with this company and I strongly suggest to anyone looking for a car. Thank you VK Auto Sales!

I was referred to Tom by someone i met that had a prius like myself.....i had some questions and gave him a call and he was very helpful and spent a lot of time on the phone with me thoroughly explaining things....anytime i had a question i called Tom and he always took the time to help me out....I finally took my car to him yesterday to have some modifications that i've been wanting to get done on my 3rd Gen Prius.....he installed some aftermarket fog lights, installed some new LED low and high beam headlights, installed some hybrid chrome lower door moldings, restored my headlight lenses along with a few other things and was able to get everything done in 6 hours....needless to say i was blown away by how the car looked when i picked it up....the door moldings and the new grill with the fog lights were professionally done and looked incredible.....i'm very glad that i was referred to him and now have someone i can trust and someone who really knows his hybrids....i fully trust his ability and would take my car to him over a dealer any day....those days of taking my car to a dealership are over now that i found a highly competent and honest mechanic....i wouldn't think twice about purchasing a hybrid from him and his family when i'm ready for another one....Can't thank Tom enough and would highly recommend him and his family owned and operated business to anyone who needs to purchase or repair a vehicle especially a Toyota Hybrid.
