Eric and the folks took great care of me. I went in with a last minute, emergency request. They installed 4 new tires on my wife's vehicle in record time! The price was very competitive compared to national box stores. Support local!

They put some used tires I had bought from a junk yard on my car. And one was bad. I explained I was going on a 3 hr road trip. So he just swapped the tire for another he already had at no extra cost because he wanted to make sure we were safe. I appreciate the sentiment. All around good guys there.

After having a flat tire at Hartwick Pines I googled tire repair nearby and drove to Upper Lakes tire in Grayling. I arrived just as they were opening and although he had two 8:00 appointments, the owner was able to get me in quickly to remove the donut and fix my tire. Customer service was excellent and after only charging me25.00 I was on my way within an hour. So refreshing to find great service and reasonable charges. I will tell all my family and friends in the Gaylord area to go to grayling for all their tire needs.

I was coming from Kalkaska on my way home to Glennie. My tires were shaking and pulling to the left. Stopped to have them check it out. He was able to squeeze me in and i needed two new front tires. Mine were in pretty bad shape with metal ahowibg. Thank you soo much. I wouldn't have made it home.

For the love of all that is holy this place just made our day we have taken our car to the shop 3 times over it shaking uncontrollably down in hillsdale where we bought the car, attached is what the car tire looked like they removed all those little dinky weights and put new and few on and now we have no shaking what's sooooo ever thank you so much upper lakes!!! You made our day and we feel much safer in our car

On June 9 I had a tire blow out on my boat trailer as I traveled north. I put on my spare and began calling to find who carried tires for my trailer as I don't like traveling without a spare. Upper Lakes tire took care of me promptly. Salesperson Eric Brinks was very pleasant and professional. He made sure we did not have a long wait and that everything was done correctly. Great service and reasonably priced. I definitely highly recommend Upper Lakes Tire.

We were headed up north and started to get a message that we were losing tire pressure. They were able to check it out right away and didn t even charge us when they couldn t find a leak. This business has good integrity and were very helpful. Thank you!

I had a reoccurring flat and brought it here. Tht were able to get me in quickly and repair the problem quickly. I always call Eric when I have an issue of this kind and he is always friendly, courteous, and always willing to help if they are able. I highly recommend this business to everyone I meet needing quick inexpensive tires or repairs.

Awesome service! We were traveling on I 75 and developed a slow leak. We called just before they were closing and said come on in as they would be there for us. Got us back on the road in no time. Wonderful shop! Had a slow leak while heading to Georgia, they got us in right away, fixed it so we could get back on the road. Would go there for all our tire needs if we lived in Grayling.

I Want to Say Thank you Thank you, We was heading to our Cabin in the UP and got a Flat we was Recommended this place from the Marathon Gas station so we went, and boy are we ever happy, customer service was Excellent and they was able to get us in and replaced our Tire and back on the Highway to our Weekend in less than 30 minutes. Hands down this is an Excellent place. Thank you again for the Friendly Service and and Quick service we received.

We came in with a hole in our tire that couldn t be patched. They didn t have our exact tire size so we were loaned a tire a bit bigger until the order came in the following day, without charging for the loaned tire, so we could get to our doc appointment that day. Good People n Great service.

Went in for a second opinion on brakes and leaks. Excellent customer service! They showed my husband everything. We received an honest inspection that nothing was wrong. We'll definitely use Upper Lakes for tires and service.

Went in to get a tire fixed, but it was not repairable. My other tires were about 80% worn, so decided to get new tires. They were helpful, offered several options, with no pressure. Even put a loaner tire on at no charge until my new tires came in. Highly recommend these guys. Friendly, professional, decent prices.

Friendly and helpful. I had an appointment but arrived 45 minutes early but I brought a book to read so I didn't worry. With in 20 minutes I was told that they were done which surprised me. Very satisfied.

This place is amazing. We were traveling when we blew a tire on our camper. Upon further inspection , we realized we needed 4 new tires. They got us in , replaced 4 tires and got us on our way in under 40 minutes. Price was awesome, too.

We stopped to Upper Lakes Tire shop after driving 8 hours from Pennsylvania, in a panic, needing a new tire. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, changing and applying the new tire in under 20 minutes. We are so thankful for their service and highly recommend this business.

Kind. Courteous. Professional.On my way to the UP with 3 kids, one of my tires started losing air...at 5 pm on a Friday of course. I called ahead after finding Upper Lakes info and explained my situation to the gentleman who answered. He told me to keep driving and he would hold some of his crew past closing time (if needed) to make sure we wouldn t be stranded.As promised, when I pulled up, he and 3 other guys were waiting. They promptly pulled my tire off to start inspecting it for leaks while also checking all of the other tires. A faulty valve stem was discovered and everything was broken down and repaired in a short amount of time. All the while, the whole crew chatted with my 2 toddlers who had already had enough car seat time at that point.Soon, we were back in the truck and headed North. The guys at Upper Lakes have my greatest appreciation and thanks. If they treat a pass through customer this way, I can only imagine the service provided to their routine customers!Thank you again!

Surprise flat tire in Grayling on our way home. Upper lakes tire was fast , friendly , and efficient ! So great!So lucky to be in their area when we had a tire problem!!Highly recommend them

This is the best tire shop in Northern Michigan, possibly the state. Owned by a local family for decades! GREAT customer service and the best prices. Our family has supported this business for as long as I can remember. We now drive from the greater Detroit area to make sure we continue support local, small businesses. This is NOT associated with any other Upper Lakes Tires so don t be confused. If you want great prices, even better expertise and world class customer service, come here!

Stopped in for an emergency tire change on my camper. Ended up buying 2 new tires and swapped one over to the spare. These people had me in and out in 30 minutes and back on the road. Definitely 5 star rating!!
