Very knowledgeable, to the point the man I was speaking was basically able to diagnose my issue over the phone. He gave me lots of helpful insights to both help my issue with my Buick Lacrosse, and to help reassure me that my transmission likely won't fail anytime soon. I highly recommend this service! My faith in humanity has been renewed. My college age twins were traveling from Charlevoix Michigan to Cleveland Ohio and a "hot trans fluid" light popped on in their car and it was stuttering and jerking. I called Will at Ideal Transmission and asked if my daughters could stop in to have him check the car and make sure they were safe. Without hesitation, he said absolutely. When the girls stopped, he dropped everything and immediately took care of them. In the process, he told them what to look for as they continue driving, how to handle the car if anything goes wrong, and gave them a brief lesson on transmissions and the importance of checking and taking care of the fluids. I am so very very grateful to Will for his kindness, professionalism, and genuine willingness to help in a situation where no family or friends were nearby to assist. I am so grateful for you Will! My husband and I were on our way up north when our transmission started having issues. We had our suburban towed here. Hoping we could get answers in the morning. Will was very helpful with my husband Will. He told us he thought my suburban would make it 150 miles away. Guess what it did!? We went slow and steady but I appreciate his advice.

Broke down after hours on a Friday night. Middle of nowhere. Called several auto places with no luck. Found Ideal on Google and got help right away. Owner and his son went out of their way to find us a tow to their shop and got us going under 30 minutes after that. Super super thankful for them. Great experience.

Will did a great job-fixed both of my front window regulators before lunchtime. Nice guy-seemed genuinely eager to help. He was absolutely willing to fix them the day I brought my Cruze in, but we had to schedule an appointment due to the parts not being available same day (he tried). I would definitely recommend and will continue take my vehicle to him in the future.Service: Auto power window repair
