When Gary found out we weren't getting any more money from our insurance company but were paying more out of pocket at this point, he worked with us to keep prices down repairing the parts that he could instead of replacing them with brand new. He saved us a good amount of money. When we got our car back it looked excellent. Van Eck displays Christian messages on their sign out front and Gary and others we dealt with were great examples of this. Every one was kind, friendly, considerate and understanding toward us. It was a great overall experience. We totally recommend this business for body work on your vehicle.

I have had these guys do work on a couple of my vehicles now. These guys are fantastic. The biggest thing for me is communication. With the recent work i had done, they called me multiple times a day to give me updates. Whether it be bad news that my vehicle will take longer or letting me know it will be done sooner than expected. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience. Everything went exactly as promised and the body work and paint is perfect. Jamison kept me up to speed and delivered exactly as promised. It was nice to have the rental car pick up at the shop and all I needed to do was drop the keys right there when I picked up my car. Highly recommended.

TLDR version of my review:Took my 2019 Ford Expedition Max Platinum to Van Eck Auto Body after I struck a deer in Cadillac, MI on 8/14/2020. Initially it was estimated it would probably be done on 9/4. I got a call on 8/28 that it was done! I did have them make some adjustments as I was super picky, getting it back on 9/1. I found a software glitch with the 360 camera and brought it back on 9/2 for that correction, which was fixed that day. No issues, no hassles, super easy to deal with, friendly, professional, and did phenomenal work! I'm pretty particular about my vehicles, and especially so on a vehicle we spent so much money on and had intended to keep for the next decade while our kids are growing up. Anything less than exactly factory quality wasn't going to make me happy. They delivered.More detail for those that want to know more:The vehicle in question had 8,500 miles on it and hitting the deer at 50ish demolished the driver side of the vehicle. Sensors torn, fog light wrecked, head lamp wrecked, fender torn, driver door wouldn't open, cooling shutters falling out the front, radiator leaking, A/C condenser damaged, etc. The end result was 3 full pages of parts and labor! Van Eck got the estimate to our insurance quickly and the repairs got under way almost right away. I figured I'd give them a week or so before calling to see if I could come check on progress and bring my kids so they could see the repairs in progress...only to find out that after just 1 week after starting the repairs they were wrapping up and I might have it back the next day! Gary, who is phenomenal, called the next day on Friday 8/28 to come get it. I did discover a fitment snafu with the top edge of the bumper cover that was hard to spot, and I wanted the gap tightened between the fender and the door. The door/fender gap I think was due to the magician working on my car deciding to follow the line of the A-Pillar, when I preferred to focus on the door gap. Just a difference of preference I think. No questions asked, they brought it back in and got to work. Tuesday 9/1 they called to come pick it up. Looked exactly as if nothing had ever happened. The paint is called "magnetic" and it is a metal flake. Matched perfectly. They blended the door expertly, fender looks perfect, and bumper cover fitment and paint is flawless. Fender & door gap are exactly what I was looking for. Upon pulling into my garage I noticed the front view of the 360 camera was black, but the camera was functioning because the full front view was fine. Brought it back on 9/2 and they worked their wizardry on the camera and now all is well. Had it back same day. It seems exactly as I received it from Ford. Nothing else was going to make me happy; either I would have needed Van Eck Auto Body to deliver that at some point or I was resolved to trade it in on a Lincoln Navigator L Reserve. They delivered, no need to consider trading in. Even though it took a little tweaking to get there, it was a LOT of parts and a lot of little detail work so I can't fault anything or anyone there. They never gave me any push back, just agreed to do whatever it took to make me happy with their work. Top notch. If you are even unfortunate enough to need their services take some solace in the fact Van Eck Auto Body are literally magicians that can make your vehicle right again.Before and after photos of their work included with this post.Big shout out to Gary who worked with me the entire way through this "project" . My 2011 gmc yukon got swiped by a semi in a parking lot and van eck did the repair for me. 1 week later to the day my paint started to bubble above my fender where they did the repair so I brought it back to them so they could see it. They told me "we did the best we could and unfortunately there's nothing we can do." No solution or plan to fix it. I do not recommend taking your vehicle to this body shop. Now the insurance company is out the money to do the repair that wasnt done right and I have to pay someone else to fix their mess.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I highly recommend Van Eck Auto Body to anyone who needs body work done. They are super easy to work with and the work is fantastic.We hit a hawk and it went through our front grille and damaged our evaporator. I just got my Jeep back from being repaired at Van Eck and I couldn't be happier. They did the estimate right away and got the parts ordered promptly. Unfortunately my drivers door has been on backorder since March but they decided to fix the windshield right away so I could drive it. The rest of the damage was cosmetic. If they hadn't done that for me I would've been without my vehicle for 6 months! Jeremiah kept me informed during the whole process and the rest of their team took great care of me and did amazing work.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I recently had the pleasure of working with Van Eck Auto Body to repair the bodywork on my wife's car, and I have to say, I was extremely impressed with their service. From start to finish, the team at Van Eck Auto Body were professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful.The repair work itself was excellent. They were able to fix the damage on the car perfectly, and it looks as good as new. They even took the time to clean the car inside and out before returning it to us.But what really stood out to me about Van Eck Auto Body was the level of customer service they provided. I would highly recommend this place. They did some amazing work on my car after I hit a turkey and ripped off part of my front bumper and tire well. I hit a deer on the highway. Van Eck ordered a new front bumper (plus undersheilds the deer tore off), and painted it. They also worked with Muffler Man to rebuild my custom exhaust. Everything looks great! They were very professional and even cleaned my car inside and out, and my exhaust tips! The front bumper paint matches perfectly to the rest of the body just as it was off the factory floor. Gave me new fog light bulbs for free. They we're fast and delivered before they said it would be done. Shout out to Jeremiah at Van Eck for his professional service.

Recently, sitting at a light I was rear ended on 28th Street, I know, shocker. Long story short, I had the privilege of dealing with VanEck Autobody. I highly recommend them. Their customer service was impressive and communication was impeccable. To boot, my car looks great. I can't express enough gratitude. You won't be disappointed. Good customer service is hard to come by these days.

Hit a deer less than 2 weeks before my lease end. VanEck worked seamlessly with my insurance and got the work done before I had to turn my vehicle in! Excellent customer service! Had my Flex in for front bumper damage (was hit in a parking lot) and they worked to fix while we were out of town so I could be back on the road for work when we returned. Two weeks later I was rear ended (nothing like driving for work) and again they were able to work with my trip schedule to avoid me being without my car upon returning. On April 28th of this year, 2023, our 2020 Toyota Camry was hit in the driver's door by a deer that must have been moving at a dead run. Drivers door, front fender and every airbag on drivers side, went boom. Car was not drivable. Called 4 collision repair businesses. None of the 1st 3 could even get the car in until near the end of May. Spoke with Andrew at Van Eck. He said they were scheduling out into June BUT they always kept openings for cars that were not drivable (mine). I told him that I had to wait for the adjuster, he asked what insurance company I was with and said that if (absolutely no pressure) I wanted them to do the work he would be allowed by my insurance company to be the adjuster and I would be dealing only with him. I said yes. And this is the important part, within 20 minutes he had a wrecker pick up the car. Before the end of the business day he had emailed me a 6 page detailed estimate and had ordered the parts. When I complimented him on his speed he said "I don't like things piling up on my desk!". He warned me that he could do nothing to speed up parts delivery (still supply chain issues from Covid) and I already knew that.Bottom line, car is in our garage. It looks like new. Every panel seam is perfectly even. The paint is perfect. We have zero complaints. All in slightly less than a month. We are truly impressed. I pray that I never need the services of a body shop again but if I do there is no other place I will even consider going to.

I've used Van Eck Auto Body twice now and both times I have been more than impressed on the job they did. Being a Christian family business is what got me to go there. So glad I did. Even though I'm a half hour away, they will always be the body shop I'll be going to.
