I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tuffy Auto Services for some much-needed car maintenance, and I must say, they exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I walked through their doors, I was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff who were eager to assist me.First and foremost, the level of expertise displayed by the Tuffy Auto Services team was truly impressive. Dropped my car off for the free AC check. I was told the following needs repair: A/C Refrigerant (R134a)AC Leak Tracer Dye A/C Charge Port Valves. That was almost $300. Drove it for a few days and it was running hot AGAIN. Took it back and they proceeded to tell me that it needed a new condenser ($659). I let them know that I was disappointed that they did not inform me about this initially which would have determined if I would have moved forward with repair. Now I m out $300 and still no AC. Will be contacting corporate. I ll also note that they found a million things wrong with my car that I didnt ask for but failed to properly check the AC in which I came in for!UPDATE!!!!!WARNING!! When you go in to get your AC fixed, just know (according to the manager) that they don t like working with AC s because leaks are hard to find the first time. That this is a step process. You could pull off and a couple days later be back to them again with another price quote. Make sure they explain the process to you, get it in writing as well. Oh and according to the manger at this location, they could fix it at step 2 and you may need to come back again! I will say they offered to fix my condenser for a discounted rate but proceeded to tell me that there s no guarantee it would work. So basically gave me no confidence to go back. Also had a representative at the corporate level to help me and that was a waste of two weeks. And it s clear that they want to get on this platform like they offered stellar service. No thanks

We broke down a couple doors down after eating lunch right before heading out of town for a wedding. A tech was able to walk over and check it out and tried his best to get the car started so we wouldn't need a tow, to no avail. They were able to get it towed over and identified the issue and replaced the part with no notice and with some one running out themselves to get the replacement part. Real life savers! We were able to get to our event just in time! Great people.Service: General repairs & maintenance

You know these guys get a bad rep. Had to get my water coolant pump and TBI unit replaced and things didn't work right after my car being worked on just because a small detail was missed but brought it back the following next day and my car was only in shop for 4 says. This is nice since I didn't have to schedule an appointment and my car is totally fix and in sound! I'm satisfied

Bryan is the man I did business with. He was very professional and very helpful in figuring out what was wrong with my car. He explained everything in detail that needed to be fixed and went all over pricing once on the phone and again in person with me to make sure I understood what was wrong. My car is now running great. I honestly will never go anywhere else. Since the moment I dropped off my car they were very helpful communicated efficiently. Found me an engine with 6800 miles. They guys were wonderful. I highly recommend to anymore. The prices are great, flexible payment options. Highly satisfied. Everything was great. My car runs great. Thanks guys I really appreciate all your hard work

I had my car repaired at this Tuffy location and had an AWSOME EXPERIENCE!!!! The Staff including the Managers went ABOVE and BEYOND EXCELLENT customer service for me...They were very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable, not to mention reasonable prices. I had to drop my car off for repairs and needed another car to get back and forth to work, they offered me a loaner car until my repairs were made...I have never been offered a loaner car at any other Tuffy I had ever gone to in the past...I will definitely refer family and friends to this location. I am very pleased how they have taken good care of me and my car!

Edit*** store owner contacted me already and wanted to discuss the situation. Definitely appreciated that. Adding a couple stars! That goes a long way.will say, typically, I only have had good things to say about this location. My husband goes often and the guys who help him are great. However, my 17 year old daughter went today with a coupon for a free A/C inspection. It's her first car and it was blowing warm air. She made an appointment, went in and was told that the coupon isn't really going to work and told her the charge would be 130-160 to INSPECT the system. I was furious. I went in and tried to find out because I thought she must have misunderstood. No. same thing was told to me. We left and she was so upset. I just don't understand. I would hate to think that he was trying to take advantage of a young woman but man, it wasn't cool. Don't give a coupon that isn't real. We will definitely go somewhere else.

I was extremely impressed with Steve and his crew. I first called looking for a quote to fix the starter on my 1991 Toyota Corolla. Steve told me to bring it in and they would run a free electric system check to confirm my diagnosis which, as always, was wrong. My starter and clutch safety switch are both fine. Steve and his mechanic had me in, checked, and back out within minutes of arriving. The problem ended up being a loose negative battery cable. Now, they could have been like others and gave me a whole list of things wrong and try to scam me but he and his peeps did not. The price he did quote me at first was very reasonable at a max of $250 but likely less and in the end Steve's machinc tightened my cables and sent me on my way without charging me a red cent. Thank you very much Steve and crew. I would highly recommend your services to friends and family.

My wife and I drop our 08 Buick Enclave off here. Told them what we wanted looked at.. 2 days later was told 1300.00 or so to fix it by one employee then 1700.00 or so to fix it. Then 5400.00 to fix it by another employee. Now I understand that sometimes there can be confusion on repairs... but really the difference between prices is insane. We decided that after talking with an employee about the services listed and a so called technician talking in the background during the phone call. The price for struts, shocks front brakes and an aliment. 1794.38. When we pick up our vehicle it was over 1800.00 for the repairs and our front tires on our vehicle squeals going down the road and even more around corners or when the tires touch the painted lines on the road. My guess is that the aliment was never done. Why would anyone put new front struts on and not do an aliment on a vehicle is beyond me. Also all the sudden our AC doesn't work. Worked just fine before it went in now it doesn't. I don't know who is running this place but we got 4 different prices and a car we can't drive. Now I will be contacting the manager and owner... if there is one. This has been extremely expensive and a giant waste of time. CONSUMERS BEWARE. THERE IS SOMETHING GOING ON AT THIS PLACE. YOU SHOULD NEVER GET 4 DIFFERENT PRICES FOR SERVICES. IT SHOULD NEVER TAKE LONGER TO LOOK AT A VEHICLE THAN TO REPAIR IT.... IMPROPERLY. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. PERIOD

*** WARNING, TUFFY IS NOT A REPUTABLE BUSINESS*** tons of bad reviews and TUFFY IS NOT ACCREDITED BY THE BBB!!!Got inspection on front tires shaking when braking, was told I need new pads and rotors. Paid too much for a year warranty. Whatever. A few months later same issue, was told the back brakes and rotors should also be done along with the warranted front rotors being replaced to prevent future wear. More money, whatever, I need my car fixed, fix it. Months later, warranty expires but same issue is still present, now I m told to PURCHASE a whole new set of rotors and the problem should magically be fixed. Only solution given.***DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH THIS BUSINESS***Service: General repairs & maintenance

My wife believes in giving a second chances. She took the car there herself and got a more positive result. They did have her wait a long time like they had me last month. But no time frame was give. They are great at repairs, but a little pricey. She dealt with a different person at the desk. I came up there later in the day. Saw no smoking and the mechanics doing their thing.

Had to called them about update about my dodge journey....went and picked my journey up and found out they will leave your vehicle unlock. Someone went inside searched my vehicle and took my other coat I left there inside and it was parked the same way I left it . Basically I feel they never looked at it....made a video recording how the other vehicles parked next to mines were also unlocked!! Very unprofessional if you asked me!!! They were nice and polite, but don't let this fool you. Their online prices don't match with what they offer, which was the main reason I chose to go there. Plus I asked them to just check if there was anything wrong with my car, they refused saying that was not included on the oil change.

employee brad pulled his truck in front of my car and burned his tires causing a bunch of chips in my paint, management done absolutely nothing. he then proceeded to throw a frozen bottle at my car. stay far away unless you want to have to have your car brought to a body shop.
