I've been going to this location since I first moved to Grand Rapids in 2018. I had found them via a reddit post and have been happily getting oil changes there for six years now. They are always very sweet. As a woman who knows very little about cars, I'm always nervous about being swindled into unnecessary fixes and they've never put me in that position. Very grateful for their service!

These guys are great, prices are reasonable. They are never pushy, and always helpful and kind. They do a quick and thorough job. I have been going here for a few years now, and don't want to go anywhere else.

I asked before entering how much was an oil change for my car. They gave me a price and did it. Then they took my card and charged me an additional $6 without explaining it or asking me. What if I couldn t afford that or was on a tight budget? Or just don t like to be bamboozled? I won t return because that is just rude. When a customer asks the price beforehand and if you have to put in more oil (or something) you ASK and explain first, not just charge it. It s a poor practice of ethics.

I've been going here for years and have always got excellent service and a quality oil change. They check your tire pressure and make sure you are good to go before you hit the road. Wish I could give 6 stars.

The Whole Entire Staff are sooo attentive to detail, Fast, and extremely polite . They also let you know exactly what you need and what was performed. Rapid Oil & Lube Definitely My ONLY Place for an oil change

I've been going to Rapid Oil & Lube since I moved to Grand Rapids ~15 years ago. Me and my (now) wife lived close by and it was just easy in and out. We've since moved all over the Greater Grand Rapids area (Rockford, Comstock Park, and now Grandville). I still go out of my way to get my oil changed here. Darreyl & Mike are very friendly and don't try to upsell you on anything unless it's truly needed. They will give advice on things if it's concerning and shoot you straight on what is or isn't needed (filters, wipers, oil leaks, out headlights, etc.). This is a radically different experience from dealerships and other places I've gone. I currently get free oil changes from the dealer I bought my car and still drive here and PAY to get my oil changed. Figured it was worth a 5-star review after ~15 years of going here.

They are always super nice to me very efficient never charged for anything extra or do anything beyond what I've asked. If I've asked for them to do something that doesn't need to be done and they will be honest with me and let me know that too. That's invaluable.

Did an oil change for us for the first time. Engine light came on the next day. We took it back to them and they didn t investigate, just told us the oil change had nothing to do with it. We took it to Veenstras and the discovered the wrong oil filter was placed. They repaired it. Called rapid oil. They wouldn t do anything over the phone. They made me come in. I came in at 10 am. They said their manager wasn t in and I left copies of the receipt from work done at Veenstras. The manager never called. Really poor customer service and faulty work. They just bet I would be exhausted by the process and they won. I do not recommend this place to anyone. This was Feb 2023.Service: Oil change

They were so professional and so nice!! They showed me my air filter and showed me the new one they put in! They showed me my new clean oil as well! The guy told me that if I ever need air in my tire to come back and they will fill it it for free. They were so polite and just so nice! Most oil change places are just trying to sell you stuff and make money. They genuinely cared. Thank you so much for your help!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Oil change

An absolute bargain. Amazing service. I needed to have a chassis lubed, and they did it while we waited and for an extremely reasonable price.

Ivebeen going there for a little while for service and rhe guys are always polite. I came in on a whim this morning to get my fluids checked on vehicle I'd bought and ended up getting coolant flush. I'll tell you Darreyl, Mike and Todd are awesome. From fluids to wipers they take care of me and the wife's vehicles. AWESOME family atmosphere there!

I was in and out in about 15 minutes. They offered me some recommendations. No pressure or trying to up sale me. My dog in the back seat even got a treat. It was probably the most enjoyable oil change I've ever gotten. Exceptional and friendly service. I will see them again in 3 to 5 thousand miles for sure.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Called, asked about an appointment. They advised that they are drop-in.When I arrived, I asked ironically, "you busy?" (They weren't. It's a joke!)They changed my oil, affixed a sticker for next time. While I was in the bay, a couple more customers pulled up -- look what I started!The staff was friendly and efficient, and since this is less than a mile from my house I will be back.EDIT: it turns out that Tuesday is "ladies day" and a $5 discount. How about that.

Good place, with good prices on Full-Syn. They gave me a small discount, because I brought my own filter.Very quick service, was in an out, in maybe 15 minutes or so. Good people, with friendly interaction.

These guys always take good care of me. If I'm in between an oil change they'll top off wiper fluid and check tire pressure for free. On certain days of the week, they offer a ladies day discount and an educator discount - so appreciated!!

Darryl is the best...he has a great attitude and he gets me in and out w the best advice for my truck. Love the free top offs in between your oil changes as well.Update: went by recently for an oil change and Darryl told me I didn t need one quite yet, they are super honest. They mean rapid! Easy drive up oil change where you stay in your car while they do it all. They knew exactly what kind of oil I needed, topped off all of my fluids, replaced the mileage sticker, made sure I reset the oil guage on the dash, and topped off the air in my tires. This was my first time here and I will continue to come back every 5000 miles. Thanks for quality, speedy, friendly service!Service: Oil change

The owner is of the old school way of treating others. He is truly customer oriented I'd gladly spend extra if it were extra just for the service and the fact they go above and beyond to take care of you and your needs without trying to rob you like other place. Fair prices and great service. Thats why there getting 5 stars

Just left this place after my car pretty much freaked out after waiting a few weeks over on an oil change. They were right near my home so I called and pulled right in. Everyone was really nice and didn't make me feel awful for missing my oil change. The best part was that there was no pressure to upgrade my oil or "sell" me on anything. As a woman, this made me feel like I was in good hands and not being taken advantage of. I appreciated how friendly and efficient they were. In the end, this was a great place to drop in to.

Very fast oil change and friendly/knowledgeable staff. Was shown my requested oil was brand new and unopened, before they poured it in. Was shown the condition of my air filter and recommended I wait on replacing it. Was shown the oil level on my car before/after they replaced it. And finally the mechanic made sure to reset the oil life meter on my dashboard, and explained how to do that as well. A+ service and fair prices. Thanks!

For oil changes, I usually take my car to the dealership, which results in trying to be up-sold on my cars needs and feeling like I m getting ripped off. I pulled in, was help right away and was treated respectfully! The service was so very quick and I left feeling really great about my experience. I will be back!
