I just bought a 04 Grand Prix with tons of issues. I was sure it would take forever to get everything fixed, but Brian was able to knock everything out in a little over a day. He's a super honest guy and all the work he did was more than affordable. I'm so happy to have a drivable car again and will be coming back to him for any future repairs!

Giving a HUGE shoutout to the guys at Quality Express Car Care on Plainfield. I had a code red problem heading into work this morning and they were able to pull me in and get the work truck sorted TODAY and have me back on the road for work tomorrow. It's super important for busy people that dont have much downtime available. They have payment plans available, and Jessie there has given me some really in depth feedback with service. They don't dig for more money, but the will dig to find problems and make sure you're safe. 5 Stars, feed them your future car maintenance needs.

Our daughter has an older Jeep that we brough to Quality because it wasn't running right. Jesse worked on it for 2 days straight, wasn't able to solve the issue despite putting in several new parts. He didn't charge her a penny because "we didn't fix it so we won't charge you". That kind of integrity is so rare in today's world. Obviously we now give Jesse and his mechanics all of our car service work. I can't recommend their work enough. Every other service they have done for us on multiple cars has been top notch in every respect.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Drop my vehicle off for service Besides my truck getting vadelized , took boxes and tools going , truck mirrors gone and I told him they were about two weeks before be able to afford the money to get it fixed turn around and they had it towed out cost me $600 Not even a phone call or anything just towed my vehicle out of there. And I asked why didn t you call me I would ve gladly came got the vehicle oh we lost your number put his response. Did not put ABS speed sensor rings on the new brake drums for my 2007 Ford Focus then claimed otherwise. Had it redone elsewhere since I didn't trust them after that. I won't be bringing any of my vehicles to Quality Express again. You shouldn't either. There are plenty of other shops around. Terrible.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Communication with customers is certainly lacking here. Based on my most up to date conversation with the manager I expected to have my car done on a certain date, and at 4:55 I called to follow up about not hearing from them and he said that they'd need another day.Just generally not professional, and very much unlike my experience there the previous year. I wouldn't go there again.

They got me in quickly,diagnose the problem and will have the same day service.The guy was really nice and explained things thoroughly.Would recommend them highly.

This is the best place to get your car fixed. The mechanic's are honest and do a great job. Jeremih is also great to work with and never ever gave us the runaround. I have never had any issues after we got our cars fixed here. Keep up the good work guys....you guys are awesome.

Phenomenal! I own a high end car in which everything maintenance related is an expensive pain in the A$$. I brought my car here for the first time for an urgent repair that was too time consuming for me to do on my own. The repair was done in half the time and half the price of what they originally quoted me. I'm a former jet mechanic with extensive knowledge in mechanical repairs...these guys are wizards. Thank you fellas for not emptying my pockets and for quickly getting me back on the road. Much appreciated!

Called to get a 2nd quote from them as the 1st quote from another auto show was $170 more then Quality Express was. Jessie was very up front about the service let us know what to expect and when it was a little more then what he had quoted he gave me a coupon they have offered right now which brought it to the quoted price. It took less then an hour and a half and we have our vehicle back in service. Thank you Jessie and team we will see you again.Service: Steering & suspension repair

My roommate and I just moved here and we both drive 15 year old cars. We've had to go in a few times for a variety of problems and each time the guys have explained what was wrong, Jeremi even went so far as to pop my hood and the hood of another car to show where my coolant thermostat was and where the average one was. These guys give great deals and genuinely care about the customer. I love this shop and I'm so glad my roommate found it.

DO NOT GO HERE! I brought my car here and it is so unprofessional! Jeremy, the manager, screws with your car. He told me I had a bunch of stuff wrong with the car and when I talked to another mechanic he said none of the stuff that Jeremy said was wrong with the car was true. THEY USE YOU FOR INCOME! Jeremy is a liar! They take advantage of young people who don't know anything about cars. I got my brakes done there and then a few weeks later my brakes went out. So I brought it back and they fixed it again AND made me pay for it. Then the day after I got my brakes done I went to pick the car up and the entire front end started smoking terribly! Jeremy said he "forget to mention" there was something wrong under the hood. Why was he under my hood if he was fixing my brakes?! And why is there all of a sudden something wrong under my hood out of nowhere when he said not even two weeks before that day that everything under the hood was fine! And before that, he confused my trailblazer for someone elses trailblazer and almost fixed something that was meant to be fixed on another car! Just a scheme to make more money. They're liars there. Don't let them take advantage of you!

Wouldn t even give this place a one star if I could. Had my car towed to it they told me $1,170 to fix it when I can get the parts for $300. One of the workers told me he d buy it from me for $150 but he wouldn t be able to get the money to me for 4 days. Went past didn t see my car, went in and the guy threw away all my stuff that was in my car and told me that I could get all my stuff out of the dumpster myself. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone they over charge.

Jesse, FYI I found the fill and drain plug locations for my vehicle in less than 5 minutes on YouTube when I got home.It's on top of the tranny underneath the air intake duct, a plastic plug. I will do it myself since it seems simple enough. Thank for helping me save the $100 you would have charged.

This review will speak to my opinion of the service manager, Joe Smith, at the Plainfield garage. I had front axle shafts replaced by the garage approx. 16 months ago. The seals on both shafts failed(through no fault of Quality Express) and were replaced by another mechanic(friend of my son) as part of other work that I was having done. As these shafts were relatively new, they should have been covered under the parts distributors warranty. Because Quality Express did not replace the shafts, the warranty coverage was initially denied. Joe made a special effort to reverse this position, and I received a full refund. This in my view is real customer service, Joe did not have to do this but he did. In addition to customer service, Joe has outstanding technical knowledge, having supervised work on my vehicle that other garages would not take on because of the difficultly of the work. Joe took it on and resolved my vehicles issues.

Was referred here by another garage that didn't work on brakes. Was going to fix them myself and really just went to ask a question. After talking to the mechanic I asked what it would cost. It wasn't much more than it would cost to do it myself and they got me right in so I had them do it. An hour and a half later I was back on the road. Synthetic oil changes cost what I pay for regular oil.

This Monday 4/19/21 - They offered affordable and competitive prices! Their service was quick, honest, and friendly. I am new to the area and will be coming back here in the future if needed. I would 100% recommend this place to family and friends! I sat in their waiting area and saw them interact with many customers and witnessed their expertise.

Had them mount a tire and now it leaks. No warranty. Says they clean the wheel when they mount tires but won t repair the leak if it s from a dirty wheel. Don t get scammed by these amateurs.

Every time we have taken a vehicle here for repairs, it has taken at least 24 hours longer than the stated time in order for the car to be ready for pick-up. Worse, they continually give a time it wil be done, and then when that time comes and goes they fail to apologize or explain, but simply give a time farther out. We have now seen that this is a pattern, not a one-time occurrence, and will not bring our vehicles here again.

My car was running fine when I took it there. Just needed a spark plug. They tried to say they would have to take apart the whole engine so I took my car and left. It broke down when it had been running fine all day. I m furious.

I bought a car that has had nothing but issues. I always bring my car here to get it fixed. Never disappointed. They solve the issues quick and have great customer service.

I would not recommend going to this place they charged me 900+ to put headers on my truck only to start leaking 2 weeks later when I brought it back they said there was nothing they could do and that they wernt leaking clearly they have non profes6 mechanics who dont stand behind there work horrible services I had to pay another shop to fix there work!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Love the service here. These guys will tell you if it's actually worth spending more money on a lost cause or not. Will def keep coming here for repair work.

Was quoted $1000 for fixing head gasket, but when we went to get the car, we were charged $1500 with the explanation that the starter had gone bad and the manifold needed to be replaced. I was never notified of any required additional work or asked to modify the quote.

I brought my car in for a water pump.They fixed it as well as another part and gave me a discount which helped me out alot.They were very helpful and professional i definitely recommend them.

Austin at Quality express on plainfield in grand rapids saved this Veteran more than once when others wouldnt or told me it was going to be days before they could even look at my vehicles not him honest and fair go see Austin for all your mechanic needs Godbless Quality for hiring Austin

Thought I had a major problem. Turned out to be a simple seal. Work done quick and right. Best of all a great price.
