Extremely quick to diagnose problems, as well as quick to communicate what was wrong with my vehicle to me. Had all the work finished by the end of the day and gave me my oil change on the house simply because it was my first visit with them. Came into town this afternoon and my brakes started making awful grinding noises. Was able to get my car into the shop in minutes and the team replaced them in an hour and a half. Crazy efficient, inexpensive, and incredible service. I am so grateful!

These guys are great! They went so far above and beyond for me I couldn't be any more grateful to them. They worked with my warranty company really well and got everything taken care of for me. They do great work and they surely know their stuff. I know they have a loyal following and I'll be a loyal customer to them until the day I leave this city. Right as we were heading out for a road trip, our check engine light came on and found out we needed a new purge valve. After calling over 10 places with no luck to have this repair done last minute, when we called Quality Auto Service Tommy ordered the part while we were on the phone and get us in immediately. The mechanic was also awesome and we where in and out with a new valve within 15 minutes! Quality Auto Service and their guys literally saved our day and trip! Amazing customer service, worked with my schedule, and good value price for work done. My car wouldn t start and every other shop in town that I called was fully booked for a month. The guys at quality auto are by far the best mechanics I've ever been too. They are honest an keep you up to date on what's going on with your vehicle so there are no surprises when you get your bill. They are always willing to explain in detail what they will be doing to correct whatever issue you brought your car in for. They have great customer service. I would and have recommended them to anyone.

Top-notch service! I've brought my car here for service in the past and always for oil changes. I checked their prices and they were always competitive and their service is excellent. Today really topped it though. Had a flat tire, my jack broke while changing it, and I was frustrated. I brought in the tire and they were able to fix it in minutes and get me back on my way. Thanks for the great service!

Fast. Friendly. Affordable. Local. As a young woman in a city I am always anxious about taking my car in. When my brakes started doing something crazy I was panicked. All my family that knows about cars are hundreds of miles away and only so much can be done over the phone. I called Quality Tuesday afternoon and was on hold for a while but it wasn't anything unreasonable. Due to my work schedule I decided to bring in it at 8am Wednesday.As I handed my keys over I mentioned I had to work at noon and would like my car back as soon as possible. They were so understanding, even offering to drive me somewhere. I opted to wait the few hours it would take at a coffee shop a few blocks away. Within minutes they had my problem diagnosed and gave me a quote. They replaced my front wheel bearings, pads, and rotors in 3 hours for a reasonable and low price. I was able to drive to work and my anxiety has since dissipated. I'll definitely go back.

Tommy at Quality Auto service does it again. I have a 2010 Buick Lacross and my engine went straight out. I had three options, get a new car, rebuilt engine, or a new engine. That was simple I couldn't afford a new car so that was out and I've heard enough horror stories about rebuilt engines. So new engine it was. I wasn't thrilled but I knew it had to be done. Next question was who do I take it to Buick who quoted me 2,000 in labor along with some other garbage and a outrageous quote mind you, subject to change depending on what they saw once they started working on my car ( right get outta hear). It didn't matter I already knew where my car was going, Quality Auto Service. I even knew who'd do the job Tommy. I wanted to see how crazy of a price Buick would give me. Quality was $ 2000 cheaper with the warranty. Seriously my car is important so when it's down I'm down. Quality Auto had my car up and me running in three days. My car don't drive, it's floats . It's drives that smooth. Bottom line if your looking for a good mechanic at a place with people who are real. Also, friendly, professional, and no- nonsense service and comparable prices(I ain't talking about no sweat shops or boot leg mechanics either) then check out Quality Auto. Tell em Patty sent you! A good mechanic is like a good doctor. When you find one that knows his or her stuff then you keep em, no matter what others think. Check em out,Quality Auto in Grand Rapids. Mitch was a wonderful mechanic. He was very nice and helpful, didn't try to push a sale on anything I didn't need or anything like that, and genuinely seemed to care about my safety.(I hate that this even has to be said, but other women will probably understand what I'm talking about...) He was also very respectful and didn't talk down to me at all, like some mechanics do to women (in my experience).The pricing was very fair and reasonable.I would gladly take my car back to Quality and highly recommend this garage.

Quality Auto Service is top notch! Tommy and the team helped me with a muffler pipe that went bad while under warranty from another shop in a city far away. Tommy was kind enough to work with the part supplier and got the warranty honored. He made the repair quickly so I could be on my way. This is a real deal auto service shop! Kind, knowledgeable, and there to help people with any car problem you might have.

Quality Auto showed great professionalism when it came to working on my car and getting me back behind the wheel. I had an accident and I didn t know where else to take my vehicle. I tried to take it to a shop near where my accident happened. That was a bad idea on my part. We all have to learn the hard way sometime. After much delay and waiting for my car to get approval to be worked on I finally made the right choice and had my vehicle moved to Quality Auto Service. Quality Auto s expert staff worked with myself and my Insurance to save me money and get my car back on the road in no time at all. Great, friendly, and hard working people who care about you and your vehicle. I ll definitely continue to bring my car back for any future issues. Thanks you Quality Auto for all your hard work!

This is an honest shop. Tommy took the time to make sure I understood what he fixed and why and what warning signs to watch for in case there's a deeper issue. The repair was affordable, and he told me he'd work with me to get a deal if I do have to bring my car in again. I chose this place based on its great reviews and they are all true!

Such great people! I got a nail in my tire as I was bringing my daughter to an appointment at the hospital and they stayed open late and waited for me to get there because I live an hour away and had two kiddos with me. He patched my tire perfectly. I cannot be more appreciative!

Brought my vehicle to this establishment because it wouldn t start, I asked them to fix the problem as well as find any significant problems wrong with my vehicle. I get my vehicle back a day later and not even 20 miles later.. (or 24 hrs at that) my vehicle starts to overheat, something it never has never done before in my possession! When i called the following morning to report the inconvenience, as well as request a discount/ money back the mechanic exploded in anger! As I tried to remain calm, the mechanic that specifically worked on my vehicle violently explained that I wouldn t receive any discount nor money back for the random inconvenience they have caused simply because they turned my vehicle back on!! Overall, their service isn t accurate, having to take my vehicle to more than one auto shop because of the trauma i endure under their care! I say this with certainty that they will never receive my business again! Thanks for nothing ;)

My cars tire came off the axel and Tommy went above and beyond to get my car fixed and did it at a fair price and was super quick! I was in a tight spot and all other shops were backed up 2 weeks. Tommy, got me in and fixed my car the next day. I will definitely be back!

Great service! I m not from this area so I was very pleased with not only the quality of service but friendliness. They went above and beyond by squeezing me into their schedule after I ran over a caution cone (smh), and even checked to make sure that all fluids and tire pressure were good. Thanks you guys! S/o to Joe who was also very helpful in breaking down what all was going with my car!

Exceptional service, I have an older vehicle (1991) that would not stay running and was told by another shop they could not fix it. Within 2 days of being at quality auto they had diagnosed and repaired the problem for a price I was completely satisfied with. They also performed a routine safety inspection to make sure my almost 30 year old wagon was in top shape.Service: Engine repair

After having my truck breakdown as I was driving through town on a road trip (truck was overheating), Quality Auto Service was welcoming and fit me in. They were very accommodating, did a wonderful job, had a great price, and even let us borrow their loaner car for free for the day as they replaced my radiator. If I lived in GR, I would rely on them to do all my future auto work.
