My first experience here was after I was in an accident. The tow driver recommended them. Then I find out my dad has known the owner for 35 years and I see why. Anything to do with vehicles this shop handles even all the insurance stuff. Their work is amazing. My car is beautiful and they were always nice and helpful. I called several times and they never were rude. I probably bothered them more than most and they still were always kind.

My experience here with Pro Am Collision has been so wonderful! All of the staff are so friendly and helpful. They will work with the insurance company so that you don t have to, it really takes away the stress of getting your car repaired. Olivia in particular was very very kind :) will definitely be recommending this shop!

I only have good things to say about both the quality and integrity of this shop. I experienced an unfortunate situation where expectations were not initially met, but the dignity and professionalism with which they handled things and made every effort to rectify things and make me a happy customer was superb. The body repair work they did seems to have been of a high quality as well, but I appreciate the human side of the business even more! They won a customer!

Been taking my vehicles to Pro Am for the past 20+ years and never once had a bad experience. Doug, Stacey, Josh, Jordan, Cade, Tyler, Lauren, Jake, Jimmy, Kyle, Josh, Shelley - you name them, I've dealt with them and they've always been responsive and done outstanding work. If I could give 6 stars I would. Plus they have cool dogs......

Incredibly helpful and accommodating! I brought in my RV needing last minute oil change and a few other things and they took care of it promptly! Great service!

UPDATE....I Did also reach out to Doug the Owner & He never returned my call & I highly doubt he will at this point, there won't be a solution because they know they are in the Wrong!But I'll Gladly keep my post updated with pics!!PROCEED at your own RISK! Had rear quarter panels rusting that they supposedly "cut out" & welding in a new pieces then repainted barely 8 Months ago.Now it's all bubbling and coming back. Looks awful. Went back to show them & basically got told ide most likely be responsible for the bill but won't know until they completely tear into it again..Not very quality work if you ask me. Had my truck for 13 months and left the window down damaged the inside of vehicle and left scratches all over that were not in the original pictures. Avoid at all cost unless your looking for a cheap fix. Have to take to another body shop now so insurance can pay them to redo their work.

Had my wife's 2017 explorer fixed twice from separate accidents, front bumper and whole right side has been repaired by them and it looks better than ever!Another time they worked with our extended warranty company and covered the water pump getting replaced on the explorer too, every repair has shown quality workmanship

Quality work, but took twice as long as originally told. Communication was horrible and didn t receive a straight answer when requesting updates past the anticipated completion date. Two days after receiving the truck back, I realized I m missing $100 worth of tools from my backseat that were there when I dropped it off. I would recommend for the quality of work but don t expect the stated timeline to be accurate or good communication.

This is absolutely one of the worst organized shops around. I actually had this shop recommended to me by an employee of theirs who witnessed my accident. He assured me they were good people and that they would help me out well if by help me out he meant never communicate and lie about the status of my car he was right! They did! They had my car towed to them about two weeks ago, this being my first time in a major accident by myself I had no idea the mistake I was making. They then made promises of talking to my insurance and getting the car covered but after two weeks of me calling and them never knowing what was going on I finally showed up and was told there was nothing they could do. They then notified me that they had been charging me $100 a day to store my car. This is something I believed they should have told me up front before having the car towed and Rick himself disagreed and began arguing with me when I wouldn t hand over my title without an itemized receipt of what exactly they were charging me for. He became irritated stating that there were even more fees from them working with the insurance companies (also never mentioned prior) and demanded I walk away from the conversation because he clearly couldn t take my line of questioning. (Why don t I have an itemized receipt? What exactly are you charging me for? Why didn t you tell me about the 100 a day fee? Why did you keep my car for weeks saying you could get my insurance to cover it when one of your own employees witnessed the accident and knew the story?) basically he didn t want to admit his wrongs. He then told me to return in a day or two for the receipt (probably so they could make up extra fees and charge me more) I ended up giving in and handed over the title (after consulting my lawyer and deciding it wasn t worth the hassle) but the moral of this story is they don t communicate, never tell you what and why you are being charged, and purposely take forever to get back to you to rack up the bill on your car. I do NOT recommend and I will never be giving them my business or recommending them after this awful experience. Procede at your own risk.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Body & Trim

10/10 The best of the best.Doug and his team at Pro Am are absolutely amazing, from start to finish. They are exceptional at keeping you updated on your vehicle throughout the process and are extremely helpful with any questions at all you may have.The work they did on my classic car was the most consistent I have had in the Grand Rapids area.They take pride in their work and made sure everything was done right and went above and beyond also fixing problems I was not aware of.I will definitely be going to them in the future and let everyone I know how satisfied I was with their service.To everyone at Pro Am, Thanks again!Service: Body & Trim

Super friendly staff and did a great job! They took care of all of my insurance issues so I didn t really have to get involved. I reached out to a few other shops but they weren t accepting new jobs and are a few months behind before they could even get my car in, but they got us in right away! I like to recommend Pro AM Collision Mechanical services.My Mazda 2017 got the thick long damage done by key scratch vandalism on the multiple car's body sections.The processing of the job was smooth, pricing offer excellent. These people are amazing! I live 45 minutes away but I got into an accident on the Beltline. I knew I couldn t drive it home because my radiator was cracked and leaking fluid! I drove down the road to them. They immediately took a look at it and gave me an estimate. They offered to take me home, 45 minutes away! They were the kindest and easiest to work with! Doug the owner, he s letting me make payments on it because I couldn t afford that money up front! The staff was so kind and even our driver who took us home was so polite and kind to my 12 year old son! 1st thing my son said to his dad when we got home , the man who drove us home was funny! I brought my car here and originally made a poor review, because there was no communication and it had been there a while. I ended up speaking with them and we agreed that more regular "progress reports" would be beneficial and after that they were much better able keeping me in the loop.And then after 6 weeks for a 2 day job the car leaks antifreeze, the labor is under warranty but good luck getting your car in for them to fix. Next week Wednesday you need to drop it off in the morning and once we diagnose it we'll call you they said. I asked for an appointment time and they said they'd call me to see if they could arrange that. Still no call still leaks antifreeze. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere elseService: Auto engine diagnostic

We had body work done on our 13 year old garaged vehicle. In 10 months the rust returned. When I took the vehicle back in to see if it could be fixed, the owner stated he "would take care of it". He said a few days later there would be a charge. This was disappointing, but understandable. We never received a call to approve the $1600 worth of work (which was done without approval), which we had paid $2100 for the same work 10 months prior. We had to argue and negotiate to get the price reduced, since we paid for the inadequate job done the first time. There is more, but you get the point. Beware! I was told car would take 3-5 business days to complete. It has now been 14 business days and still not expected to be finished for another 3days. I ve had to call multiple times to get any updates. For the past two weeks they keep saying it will be done the next day if not the one after for sure. I would have been fine if it needed longer as long as they were honest and told me instead of stringing me along.Service: Body & Trim

Absolute terrible service they had my car now 2 months and still dont have it ready they keep saying a day and dont have it close ready they say they top notch facility clearly not because they cant paint correctly and than they want take my money as well and not have any sense urgency and dont even bother tell any updates ever we have call them like today mfs said was gonna be ready and yet again its not so never take ur car here unless u know the owner clearly cuz this one those kind places
