My favorite car wash since high school always washed my cars here great price and everything always works . The new Lazer wash isn't as good as the old one in my opinion got the $13 wash and still had dirty wheels and dirt in the wheel wells but still my favorite place . I hope this wash is around for along time to come .

Honestly, not a bad carwash. Facility is clean, nothing was "out of order"... Stopped here after driving from the Ann Arbor area and I had a bunch of bugs on my jeep from the ride. I did feel kind of deflated though, that the pressure of the "high pressure" wash wasn't quite strong enough to blast bugs off of my windshield. And it seemed like there was very little (if any) soap with the high pressure wash...It's an easy enough location for me and I don't need any free washes to give this place another shot, but I'd love to see some more soap and some more power behind the wash....

Used my credit card in the machine wouldn't let me stop at an amount the buttons weren't working they charged my account $10 and the car wash never turned on, then had to cash in a $10 bill to get money and go to a different Bay to wash it so needless to say a very expensive car wash today. And that was my first visit there ever so then the owner tells me my account was only charged $3 instead of $10, when my fifth third account shows I have been deducted $10, then proceeds to tell me I don't know how to use it.. lol and I've used my card in plenty of washes before, as soon as I swipe my card and it was immediately deducted $10 it read on the screen please deposit $3 to start wash... He proceeds to tell me you swipe your card and start washing well it's pretty hard to do when it says deposit $3 and none of the buttons will let you start washing.. never going back

This place is perfect! I honestly don t understand some of the off-hand comments and reviews from some people. The facility is very well kept, the equipment and brush work great, and the owner Brett was extremely kind enough to guide me through the wash operation. He also even refunded me a dollar because I had some trouble starting the wash gun (my fault). I think the highlight for me is when he stated thank you for allowing me to serve you today. That to me is the mark of someone with outstanding character. Will definitely be back for another wash with the kiddos. Washing the car is actually fun!

Automatic wash does a great job, much better then the more expensive car washes with people who spray and half attempting to clean the automobile. My back hatch is much cleaner at this much smaller and no attendant.

Very happy with car wash. The self car wash works great and does a nice job for good price. Automatic is a nice option as well. Owner stands behind his business and will help anytime needed. Very friendly and responds quickly. This is my new regular car wash stop!! So glad I found it!!

Sometimes the sprayer is somewhat janky, and it takes a bit to start really working which costs you money. Also don't try the dispensers with towels or air fresheners. Never actually seen anyone use them, and the only time I've tried it was empty and stole my dollar.

The owner of the car wash showed up because he checked his cameras and said we were there for too long. I didn t know there was a time limit on washing your car. Keep in mind there was NO ONE there so it s not like we were holding up traffic. Just crazy that after giving you business you try to kick us out. Your attitude was super rude but then you tried to play it off by asking us questions about our cars and then telling us some of our modifications were illegal. We will not be coming back here, great way to lose customers.

Auto wash sprayed the soap on but the rinse never came on. Had to spend another $3 and use the hand wash to finish the job.

This is one of the very few places you can clean your car and leave the buckets and hoses at home. Value is decent for what you get. They take debit cards. These are well taken care of and upkeep is good. Value for your money, just add elbow grease and walls your car is clean.

Great. The place is convenient; right off of and than back onto Plainfield Ave. I have never encountered any Staff cuz the place is self-serve but it is always clean and the the equipment is always working. I can wash my motorcycle for under $3 dollars and my car for usually about $4 dollars. Not too bad a price if I do say so myself...and I do!

Majority of the reviews mention service, but this is a SELF-SERVICE car wash. There is a car wash next door/behind that is a car wash with friendly service.I enjoy that they offer every bay to allow credit cards. I do wish that they would being back some type of discount program (similar to the red key they used to have) for people that frequent this car wash often (such as myself). I often use the touch free auto car wash and while it could be better (for the price), it is sufficient.

I went to carlovers on December 26th. It was good my car was really clean I went back 2 time because my car was clean. Best touchless car wash in grand rapids mi and Rockford mi. When I went there there was a lot of people wash there car's. I highly recommend to anyone who lives in grand rapids mi. Your car will be clean. There also have vacuums and maul car wash bays. Best car wash

First I spend 3 dollars to use the manual pre-soak. Wasted my money for there was no pre-soak solution coming out. I used the remaining time for high pressure soap. Then I go to the Automatic car wash. Run my card and chose the 7 dollar wash. Got the 7 dollar wash. And my card was charged 10 dollar. Even though I received the 7 dollar wash. Not coming back to car lovers screw job.

Overall good. But underbody wash doesn't work. It's primary reason why I pay $10 in winter here at Plainfield location. Washed 2 cars today and none was flushed underside. Fix it please.

This is definitely the one of the clearner do it yourself carwashes around grand rapids. I have tried about three of them and this is definitely my favorite. It doesn't smell like some of them I have been too and it's a nice area.

10 percent half great. 80 percent half greatYou might half to stay you fix but only 10 percent half greatI went to carlovers car wash on Plainfield mi today the I tried to use it the money thing gives my money back really. Also the money thing was making a noise when the money went in it really sorry to say but a new one that works so I had to leave the Rockford mi works great

The staff here are friendly and attentive to detail. They will take the time to answer questions, and I am a fan of the extra amenities (the interior detail is suspended due to Covid). It's also a quieter area than others, if you wish to clean your car out monk-style.

The touch free automatic wash isn't worth your time. It does spray water and dry your car but the spray pattern is inconsistent and leaves behind streaks of dirt in random places. I've had good luck with the manual spray bays and will use those in the future.

Typical manual car wash station. You can pay with a credit card which is a nice addition rather than fishing for quarters. Facility was clean and the sprayer/brush were in good condition.

Good place to get a self serve car wash. It s simple and has always worked for me. Maybe been here 15 times or so over the last three years.

Touchless wash does a good job and doesn't seem to break in the winter like other local washes.

I always go here because it's near my house. Only thing I do not like is that it gives dollar coins instead of quarters because you can't use them with the vacuums. Also don't like that at night the place is incredibly infested with spiders everywhere on everything so if you're scared of spiders like I am to not ever bother going when it's dusk or night time because you will not be able to wash your car or vacuum it even if you go through the automatic car wash because you can't put your money in because of spiders always over the part as well

This is by far one of my favorite autowashes..the only issue I've had lately is that the underwash DOES NOT WORK..

There does not appear to be under body clean and rust inhibitor offered after the latest change. I would hope that it is still offered at the full service wash.
