I just left your location after a 40 minute ordeal. One of your employees tried to change a filter behind my glove box and it s now broke.*edit to my review, the new, soon to be owner was the one who damaged my glove box as THEY requested to check my cabin filter. Told me he never did one but watched a YouTube video on it. That should have been my first indication that they had no idea what they were doing. They damaged the glove box as they attempted and numerously failed to remove it and access the cabin filter. He stated he was going to start raging if he had to continue to work on it. After he was able to get it to shut, he said it s fine as long as you re okay with it not hatching properly . I just wanted out of this 40 minute oil change that their own building is called 10 minute express. If it was such an easy fix, then they shouldn t have had an issue checking and changing the cabin filter. While calling to try and get the issued the resolved, the semi-owner tried to place blame on myself and prior damage to the EXTERIOR of my car resulting in the glove box damage.

Great experience here. I use Valvoline Instant Oil Change as a rule but I was gifted an oil change and decided to use this close location at Pennzoil.Very informative due to my high mileage/low usage of my car. Gave great tips of how to keep my car in it's best shape with low usage.Very reasonable price with recommendations moving forward.Great customer service and will continue to use this service again.

This place is predatory, destructive, and prey on people with a lack of car knowledge. DO NOT GO HERE. I went to this Pennzoil for a quick oil change. In the midst of the oil change, they pulled out my air filters in an attempt to upsell me new ones (typical). While doing so they destroyed my air filter box ($400 to get fixed). Upon realizing the issue, I called to see if they would fix their destruction they refused. To say I am disappointed and frustrated is an understatement. Save yourself the issues, take your money literally anywhere else.

Fast and good service. I went for an oil change for my Audi A4, along with the oil change they checked other oil levels and filled it for free. The best part is they will provide a quote before the process starts and no hidden charges.

Have came to this location every 4-6 weeks for an oil change as I am on the road 1,000+ a week. The previous time Inhad left due to them not having the oil my vehicle needed, but offered a full synthetic for $20 more which didn t make sense for me to do with the amount of driving I do. This time and last time I will be there, I pulled up to the door that didn t have a vehicle in front of it as there is not much room as it is. The technician finished with the car that was in the bay I was in line for first and then came out and asked me to move so the other car could go ahead of me. If I am in line at a fast food chain and the other line moves faster they don t come out and play musical cars because the other guy was here first. It s a quick oil change facility? It seems they have had staffing changes or I came on the wrong days because I do not see familiar faces from previous visits. After leaving twice now without an oil change I won t be back and just can t recommend them at this point.Service: Oil change

Standale MI Pennzoil location is hands down the best place to get an oil change. They are fast, friendly and fair priced. I've gone here twice now. Both times great customer service and affordable prices. As a young female it's hard finding a car place that doesn't take advantage. After getting an oil change I had to drive over 2 hours home. While driving I heard a scraping noise under my car and realized when I got home that they didn t screw my skid plate back on at all. It was hanging from 1 screw. Upon calling to get this resolved I talked to a manager named Jeff and he was very disrespectful from the start of the phone call. He never apologized and told me to resolve the problem I should have changed my own oil. Avoid this place at all costs.Service: Oil change

After reading a few reviews I felt I MUST write a review. I moved to Standale two years ago. My car needed an oil change. I ve never used a Pennzoil before for oil changes. This one was almost around the corner so I decided too. Am I glad I did. What a pleasant surprise! I drove in, they opened their garage door and I pulled in. They were young but treated me with respect. They greeted me and I told them what I needed. They gad the job done within 10 minutes while I sat inside my car enjoying my music. Honestly I didn t know what to expect. They rang me up, I paid and was on my way! I couldn t believe it. It cost me about $20 more than what I m used to paying but the convenience was WORTH it!!! I m used to waiting about an hour when I go elsewhere. I have been back to them for FREE air in my tires. I will definitely return for oil changes. The entire experience was worth it! Rude even as i was pulling in. Asked to get my oil filter switched out because I couldn't. I brought my own filter and they said they wanted $15. The place down the road did it free. Unreal.

I pulled in with my malibu and asked him to check my transmission I own a 2012 malibu. In order to check my Trans you have to loosen the check fill bolt located underneath the car. I said hey man sry I don't need a oil change do you know how to check the Trans on this..if not a a certified auto technician....he then proceeded to be rude and say well then why don't you check it your self .....rude old man and I will never return

I've been going here for years without any issues but this most recent visit they screwed up my oil change really bad. (Went in early December) They messed up so bad my car started leaking oil and possibly caused other issues. My car is now at a mechanic fixing their screw ups. Been going here for about a year now, haven t had a problem til the last time I came in. I went in for an oil change the day before thanksgiving around 3pm. The online hours for this location said that hours may vary due to it being the day before thanksgiving. I called the store to confirm they were open and the jack*** who answered the phone said I have cars in the parking lot and guys inside clearly we are open. When I arrived the open sign was OFF. After arriving and pulling into the garage the same guy was like yeah usually when the light is off it means we are closed and I responded your light was off . Get a new manager, I will NEVER be back and will make sure everyone I know will never give you business.Service: Oil change

The company I work for uses this location for our whole fleet of vehicles.I decided to give them a shot and ran in for an oil change on my lunch break and they had me in and out in no time. I appreciated that they didn't push extras on me (although I did spring for a filter change -- my old one was pretty dirt-caked!) and that they were thorough checking my lights, fluids, etc. The guys were SUPER nice, too, which is always appreciated! They also made sure to tell me about free service checks (??? bot sure exactly sure what they called them) between oil changes, for things like topping off oil or getting air in tires. Bonus: If you go to their website, there are coupons for discounted oil changes so I got $10 off today. It's a little pricier than the dealership I had been using but I'm definitely changing over -- way better customer service and quicker changes here.

If you end up going here check your vehicle after. They never put my oil cap back on and the car was driven >100miles in the next day and a half.

If you read bad reviews about this place: BELIEVE IT!! I can t recall the last time I felt so under-valued and disrespected by a business. Older guy with the white beard was quite unprofessional and told me not to bother coming back. As a service professional myself, I can honestly say I was not rude or disrespectful. If someone treats you badly, lies to you, then attacks you for being upset: it s not only poor service, it s a lawsuit waiting to happen. You couldn t pay me to go back there.Service: Oil change

I brought my 2005 Cadillac CTS here for an oil change. BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE!!!! It never leaked oil until the day the changed my oil and on top of that they added the wrong coolant to my reservoir (which as a "service center" they should know you cant mix between colors of coolant in a Cadillac) and they blew my radiator in the middle of winter 5� and Im stranded. I go back the next day the worker takes no responsibility and ends up blaming me. Again my car was perfect til I brought it here. They offered no help with repairing the damage they did and it ended up costing me $700 I never would have had to pay. F this place. I dont know how they are still allowed to operate after reading these other reviews. Never again!!!!Service: Oil change

I had a great experience! In today s world it was nice to have not only amazing service but it was fast. They made me feel very comfortable and never pressured to spend more money! I just moved to this area and this will be the place I will come to have my oil changed from now on! Thank you for the great service!

This is our go to place for an oil change. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We had an oil change 6 days ago before leaving for vacation and came home to oil in our garage under the vehicle. After calling this location to let them know, they promptly sent someone to our home to fill the car back up with oil and to clean up the spill. This may have been an error on their part, but they are going above and beyond to correct the problem. Even after this mishap, I highly recommend this location for your oil change needs!

I went here to get a oil change and they noticed the transmission fluid was bad, so I let them change it and the showed me the new color. They mentioned it s still a little dirty from when it was before because of how dirty it was, so I shrugged it off, like it s changed. So I brought my car in to my mechanic to do a daily check up on my vehicle. They showed me the transmission fluid and was so dark it was unreal. They didn t actually change it and it s 70 dollars down the drain. I hope people realize this place is a scam, who takes your money and does not do the work.

I come to this place all the time and I never had a problem with them until my last visit on 11/11/2106 I got my oil changed and the total was 50.68 after some other parts I needed. I looked at my bank statement and they charged my credit card an extra 5.08. They claim it was a computer error, I'm assuming some greedy old man wanted an extra tip so he added more money. One reason you shouldn't go here anymore and ALWAYS check your bank accounts. Untrustworthy people.

Do not go here... I bought a car with 68k miles on it had the transmission completely rebuilt (yes it had mild transmission problems it was flaring when switching to 4th gear.) everything ran smooth until I brought my car here for an oil change. As I mentioned above the tranny was rebuilt (about a week before I brought it here.) all the fluids had been at the proper levels I checked and double checked everyday. but for some reason they decided the transmission fluid was low so they added more. After driving off the lot the car started acting funny. Took it to a real mechanic he went to test drive it, pulled out of the parking lot and boom the car was done. I ended up taking apart the engine and found that 4 out of 6 pistons had seized up and shattered and ripped apart a large majority of the engine. The car didn't even have 75k miles on it! I will however thank them for the learning experience (yes this was my first car.) now I know how to take apart an engine for a 99 ford contour. Also, that big ass engine does not belong in that tiny little car.

Jim and his staff were friendly, quick and made sure my vehicle was squared away; letting me know what was going on with my vehicle the whole time really put me at ease! I would recommend this place to anyone! You won't be disappointed.

Beware! This place doubled sealed my oil filter and wrecked my engine. I ended up having to buy a new car because their insurance claimed the value of my car was not worth fixing. They gave me a decent buyout, but the entire ordeal was very frustrating and costly.
