Expect them to take good care of you. The entire staff recognizes me and knows my name every single time I walk in. Familial atmosphere here. They are quick to let you know what s wrong and ALWAYS give me a call before doing any work. Pricing definitely seems to be reasonable and fair. They have always been willing to work with me in times of financial distress. The mechanics who work there are very knowledgeable and skilled at their craft.

Although this business may be appealing, I will warn you of the deceptive tactics they are known for. They sneakily (or so they thought) charged me thousands of dollars for a service when only shortly afterwards did I discover the same service could have been done for $500; long story short, they promptly refunded me after a conversation with them. Their reviews may look decent, but I promise you they do not reflect their operations.Do your research, compare prices, do not settle for Palmer s.

The staff at Palmer's are awesome people. They always treat my husband and I with respect. They are very affordable. We have been to them three times (separate issues). Each time they gave us a time frame of 2-3 hours and they haven't disappointed us yet. Palmer has been my go to shop for years. First heard about them from a coworker, they have always been able to get my car in and repaired on time. Their staff patiently listed the cost of all the individual parts I needed over the phone so I could cost compare, and are always willing to do a smaller repair to keep your car going if that s all you can afford at the time. So many shops don t listen to your personal car knowledge, but they respect your knowledge and will take the time to explain what repairs are needed and why. I ve had a lot of bad experiences with other shops in the past, with managers side eyeing my ability to do my own brakes. Not here! They have a diverse staff who are all are patient, straightforward, and honest. Can t recommend them enough.

Took our car in for alignment and wheel sensor issues. Got it done for right price and done well. Started having issues with traction control right after. They fixed this with an hour of labor and refused to charge us. This is what integrity and standing behind your work looks like. I will continue to recommend them to everyone I talk to. Absolutely great people.

Everyone at Palmer's service was incredible. They worked around my schedule and were able to not only assess my vehicle issues but get them fixed within a week. The estimates they gave me or actually higher than what I ended up paying as well which was always nice especially with mechanics who can often gouge customers with erroneous fees for labor.Everyone there was professional and the itemized statement I was given afterwards explaining every part and every detailed moment in the labor description really put my mind at ease.The mechanic even showed me my old worn parts afterward and explained the issues thoroughly.I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I m so appreciative of Nick s recommendation for our new tires. With returning back to MI from CA we were worried about our vehicle and the tires in the snow. He recommended these hybrid tires and they have been awesome for us! Before we were slipping all over the place, but not any more.I felt their pricing was fair. I enjoyed their family business and you can tell they have generations of return customers who get treated just like family too. I had my control arms and battery replaced a couple weeks ago and Palmer's was great. Erika was very pleasant and gave me estimates for everything my car needed. When they replaced my battery a fuse shorted out, but they repaired it free of charge. Highly recommended.

This company is amazing!! Best shop around. Honest and very reasonable. They always go above and beyond to assure your vehicle is running great and safe. This place just made mine and someone else's day. Upon needing a plug for a tire with a nail it, I call Palmer's. The nice lady on the phone asks if I'm close (which I was) and if I could be there soon. I arrived in 6 minutes. While waiting, the nice lady in the office and I spoke about how I was visiting my Mother here and in the process of moving. I pulled my debit card out and asked if they take card, she smiled and subtly said "I'm not gonna make you pay this time, cause I can do that". In appreciating awe, I asked why. She said "cause it's good, aren't you gonna pay it forward?"I replied, "yes, yes ma'am I will"....Faith in humanity, well restored.Thank youService: Tires

I was having issues with my vehicle and brought it to Palmer's as they had a long history of positive reviews (always important with a mechanic!). They called me within hours and let me know that there was something majorly wrong with my transmission and referred me to another (trustworthy!) shop who could do the work for me. They did not even charge me for the diagnosis! I am so pleased that they were upfront and honest--I will definitely be bringing my vehicle back to Palmer's for any servicing. Thank you!

Originally brought my vehicle in for a wheel alignment but was informed that I had some bad upper and lower control arms and other suspension parts that needed to be replaced ASAP. Not a cheap fix but I understand that the labor for that fix is extremely arduous and I am happy to pay for quality work. This is NOT a budget shop, but you get what you pay for and these guys are worth it for the piece of mind and work they provide. They completed the job quickly and Nick went through all of the individual parts with me and why they needed to be replaced. At no point did I feel like I was being rushed out the door or that I was trouble for asking for details and information. After driving the vehicle around after the repair it feels better than before I purchased it. Seems like a very reliable and fair shop and I will be bringing my vehicle here from now on. Thanks guys!

I went in for an alignment and was taken care of, Nick laid out everything I needed to know about my vibration problem.Car repairs are a touchy subject, it's extremely hard to find an honest grease monkey. Palmer's took care of me.I highly recommend them!

I took my sons car in for a tuneup. $150.00 Did not sound to expensiveWhen I picked it up I asked what all was involved and was told they replaced the 4 spark plugs. That is it! $20 parts and $130 for 10 min of labor When I said you have to be kidding me. They laughed at me. Never going back!

Amazing people working here, they took in my vehicle and were in constant communication, they ended up redirecting my issue with another local shop but that tells me they are honest and give you a great costumer service even if they didn't take the job. I will bring my other vehicles to this place for sure. Thank you!

I take all of my cars here. Palmer's is a very reasonably priced, friendly autoshop. I started going there after a bad experience with the MufflerMan on Lake Michigan Dr.

Bought a broken car from a customer of theirs, they came out helped me load the car and made sure I was all set, great group of guys! (have not had repairs done my review is of the techs very nice people)
