This shop was recommended by another place of business. It was a good send. They got me right in, quoted a great price. Did not try to sell me something I did not need. Fixed the exhaust and sent me on my way. Very fast, very nice. Definitely recommend this business. It was the Kentwood muffler man

I live very close to this muffler man and my mechanic I normally use couldn t get my jeep in until Tuesday. Yesterday my jeep starting creaking and making weird noises when I turned so I brought it here and it was taken in and fixed within 24 hours..Reasonably priced too! Thank you Muffler Man in wyoming..Kylee the receptionist was great too!

Highway robbery prices, unknowledgable front end while making stuff up. Not a recipe for long term business.Update to my review from a week ago. I went to this place to give them an opportunity as I usually go to Leo's Muffler Man on 28th near Grandville, but they were busy. Stopped in, told them I wanted a used section of pipe which included the flex pipe and muffler welded in. I just wanted to quiet it down as the muffler had been removed and I didn't like how loud it was. Pulled it around back, the girl came back 5min later and proceeded to tell me all the noise was from the flex pipe (which it wasn't) and all the welds would fail over winter and the muffler was shot. Proceeded to quote me 1.5hrs labor for $210, on what know for a fact is about 20min worth of work. I basically laughed at her, told her that was ridiculous and left. Went to Leo's Muffler Man today, spent $80 and the expected 20min and what do ya know, vehicle is quiet and exactly what I wanted with an additional hanger. Avoid this place, as apparently they are clueless and are basically committing highway robbery

Honest price, was completed in 3 hours complete muffler replacement on my Equinox. I will definitely continue to be a Muffler Man customer.

Brought my truck in in July to have a dual exhaust run. I came from out of town- they told me it would be about a 3-4 hour job. I said I will wait with it. 8 hours later I was begging them to quit talking and finish the job so I can leave. I was told he only works fast for good tippers. He asked me to go down the road and grab him a Red Bull- thinking this may motivate him to start working I did. Out of my pocket .the problem wasn t slow work it was the guy working on my truck had to tell me every story of his rock band career. He would t stop talking long enough to do any work.I understand these things take time. They were well aware of my situation- with no regard for time. And this wasn t a matter of slow work- just a lazy employee that wanted to fill a day with my vehicle so he wouldn t have to touch another.And to top it all off I ve spent over $200 replacing broken hangers and to have three separate holes in the exhaust pipe repaired and it hasn t been on the truck three months. This shop is trash and I d highly recommend going anywhere else.If Muffler Man would like to propose a solution I d be all ears, however my truck will not ever be worked on at this location again.Edit 6/28/22 added photo of my situation out of town just shy of the 1 year mark.Service: Exhaust

Worst place to go, quote you one price so you bring your vehicle to them but when you get there they skyrocket the quote on you with no explanation of why. Not a trustworthy business at all, would never recommend anyone to use them.

Took my car to have two mufflers installed, I was told I had the wrong parts had to remove my tow hitch cause mufflers are too big and tried to charge me 541.00 for 30 min worth of work..took my car to one stop mechanic shop, they installed same mufflers for 250 and installed tips..muffler man use to be my spot , not anymore will never go back

I've brought my vehicles here in the past for exhaust work. Has always been good service and great prices. Today I brought in my vehicle for what I assumed to be a oil leak. They couldn't tell where it was coming from, so they cleaned it up and took for a drive free of charge. Will be back in to see where the issue lies next week. I highly recommend this shop.

My fuel injection module went out in my 2019. The general manager at muffler man was amazing from the start! Called around to find the part I needed and pricing! The GM kept me update on the progress of my vehicle being fixed the whole entire time. I haven t had any issues since. I would definitely recommend taking your vehicle there! Thx again

I was very pleased. I brought my car in because it was making a weird noise in the back that a few mechanics told me they couldnt find the reason why it was making that noise. They found the issue and fixed it and i didnt come out of pocket alot. I definitely will be going back in the future.

They don t know what they re talking about they will misdiagnose your car. I brought my equinox in with a complaint for rear noise and they had me replace brakes rotors and shocks over $1200 worth of work and that didn t fix the issue. Then they finally found the problem a drive shaft and got it out the junkyard and charged me another $800! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I received an oil change for $13.69 while I waited. The owner is Dean and he is amazing. He is always happy and friendly. I totally trust Dean to charge a fair price. I have had many repairs completed here over the years and I often wonder how he makes any money. Fair and friendly service.

Stopped in to get a price estimate, the price was way better than I had anticipated and they were able to squeeze it in today too!The female working the desk is wonderful!All staff that wandered through while I was waiting were polite.

Battery was dead, but all it needed was a charge. They did it for free. Will be throwing our business its way for the foreseeable future. Appreciate their not looking for a way to charge me for something I didn't need. Trust earned.

Dean is the best! He cares a lot about his customers and I've been a repeat customer since 2010! Even when my husband and I moved north, we still bring our vehicles here to be serviced. His prices are fair as well. I recommend his shop to anyone! Thanks Dean! :o)

I came here because no one else had resonators and these guys installed a new resonator on my car same day for a great price like 130 dollars, got rid of my drone problem and they did a great job. Great prices great service their a lot less uptight then other shops.

Our exhaust system came apart while heading north on the expressway and we had to make a quick decision where to go. We had some good experiences with the brand in Kalamazoo so we chose this shop. These guys were busy, but it was obviously because their quality work had earned it.They were able to get our car in quickly, and referred us to food within walking distance while we waited.Great prices, hardworking staff, the owner is right there, keeping everything running smoothly.We will definitely be using this shop whenever feasible.

I've never felt the need to review a place before, but I always have such a good experience here I just have to. I've only been here a few times, but each time I feel like I'm getting a fair price for the quality of work done on my car. I make it pretty obvious that I don't know squat about cars, and Dean takes the time to explain it to me so I understand what's going on. I recently went in for a loud exhaust and a squeaky belt. He said that it wasn't necessary to replace the belt, but he would if I wanted. Knowing that I clearly don't know much, he could have taken advantage of that and replaced it anyway, but he didn't and I greatly appreciate it.

Took my van in to have an adaptor that I clamped in welded after pipe broke. Total of 4 inches of welding(2 inch pipe two sides to weld). Time spent welding was 15 minutes start to finish. I was charged over 100$. Good service but feel I was price gouged. I don't mind paying extra for good service normally. But at that rate labor is 400 an hour?Service: Exhaust

This shop is always busy, because people come here and get great service at a good price. So people who appreciate a good shop keep coming back. Honest management and mechanics, fair prices, great service (like really great service). If you need a mechanic this is the shop to use. They can do lots more than mufflers. Dean will treat you right. (If you have a Ford, ask for Bob, he knows his stuff.)

I've taken my vehicles here multiple times and never left unsatisfied. In fact I've always left more than satisfied. I've had work done there and not been charged! Not even for labor! It was a quick weld job on my exhaust but that was quite a surprise. I've recommended this place to everyone that needs service. Good, dependable and reliable.

They did a good job for a very good price. Joe was helpful and made sure the job was done quick. Brought my car in for exhaust work and it ended up being I just needed a new muffler. Was fixed in two hours on a very busy day!

I had the split exhaust from hell! I stopped in on a whim to see how far backed up they were thinking a week or so, and was very surprised to find they could fit me in within 30 min. and the repair took about 40 min. all quiet and working fine. they might look a shoddy, but they do good work at a good cost. and are honest with their quotes. Give them a try and I think you will be happy with the results.05/18/17 New Review:I brought another vehicle to this location, because I had such a great experience the last time. Again I got Fast, Professional, Accurate quotes and Service. No trying to over sell any un-needed repairs, just honest prices for the work that needed to be done, and in a timely manner. They just do good work here. If you have to have work done here, plan on leaving the vehicle, but 9 out of 10 times they will have it finished that day. The Only thing I would suggest is if you have a light or really clean interior put down a seat cover of your own. But all in all a good honest repair shop the does good, honest, and timely repairs! That's a rare thing to find now a days. 2 different vehicles, varying repairs, and still give them 9 / 10.
