Maaco in Grand Rapids did a fantastic job on my son s Jetta. His car had a lot of rust issues and tired paint. The car looks brand new again and the paint match was spot on from the factory. The price was also very competitive compared to other quotes I received. I would recommend this location for anyone needing some body work and paint done!

Update after warranty call: I believe a good gauge for any company is how it handles exceptions. An issue occurred with the paint on my rear bumper (photo). It appeared as though the bumper was not primed before painting. The issue was likely only discovered after someone had bumped my car. This would not be covered under warranty - though the underlying issue would. The owner was prompt, courteous, and knowledge as he worked to find a solution. He went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of and had the option to keep the warranty in the future. The issue was fixed quickly and to high standard.I have zero hesitations recommending them to others. Solid customer service. Good team that cares about the person and not just getting the job done.

Friend of mine paid 4k dollar to have this truck painted.They did not remove anything or even take the time to send the rocker down to get the surface rust offTape lines everywhereOrange peel from wet sanding, but not finishing the wheel process.Cheap paintIt s a $1500 paint job at max.Owner will argue with you, but the truth is they suck at painted and business.Was brought back twice because they forgot to paint the roof.

This places is the worst place to ever take your car. Don t take your car there. I made an appointment for an estimate at 10:45. I made it right on time. The person that was supposed to do the estimate wasn t there the boss told me there wasn t a problem he would have the guy thoroughly looking over and give me a estimate when I called back and asked about the estimate. The guy said you don t need an estimate you just got an estimate from your insurance. I said my insurance sent me here, sir, and that s what I told the boss and he already knew that well he said well I ll just have to go outside and match the list up to see if everything s on the list act like it bothered him to give me an estimate so I took my business elsewhere and I advise you too also.

Great pricing. Good quality paint job. Owner did final inspection and had it brought back in for a redo in several spots. Good attention to detail. Would go there again.

This place ROCKED it out!!! I bought a used Corolla... that had been repaired and self painted (it was horrible) Took it here and they made my car BEAUTIFUL!! super fast, friendly, professional...and they did a great paint job!!! Hands down...will never go anywhere else!! YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!!I wish we could post phones for proof...almost too good to be true!!!

If you are thinking about having your car repainted do not hesitate to take it to Grand Rapids Maaco. This ibusiness is very well run you will not be dissapointed. I wouldn t consider taking it anywhere else. I took my 2007 Grand caravan to have some body work completed and to have it repainted. I met Paul the manager he was very friendly. He explained the process and told us what we could expect. We dropped the car off several days later. Paul immediately emailed us and gave us an approximate time when the work would be completed every day or two he updated us. His communication was excellent. Within a week he call scans said we coulpick up our car. The completed work exceeded my expectations. Thank you Paul and the entire Grand Rapids team for making our vehicle look almost new again. I only wanted to give 1 star, but I thought about the couple guys we met that work there, that were respectful and had nothing to do with our issue. We had the top half of our Cadillac painted and a pin stripe applied. The paint job is crap. When we went to pick it up after 1 week, we ended up having to leave it for another few days for them to fix the problems the messiness of the work.I won't even go into the entire story, but now...only a few months later... we have chiped paint and half of the pin stripe is gone. I will not be taking our other vehicles there.

My vehicle has been done for over a month now. I look at the work that was done and it wasn't a very professional job. I hope they see this and give me a call wondering why. But, in reality, they know, if they really are professional.

Look, I get it, paint on plastic doesn't last but what about the fender and trunk parts. Cheap paint tbh, leaves bad texture. Some corners are not even painted. They did take 250 off but honestly still wasn't worth it. Don't sign the contract until after tbh

I was really skeptical .... it came out amazing at this location just the basic urethane coat... They detailed the inside.... It took a while but don't rush perfection.... I mean it looks solid it's a Saab 9-3....

Maaco GR did a great job! I brought in my son's car and had it repainted as a surprise for him. Paul was able to schedule the work very quickly. I was very pleased with how good it looked and a few extras they covered. The price was very reasonable. Thanks Paul!

I was very clear I wanted to dents take out bumper repaired and was told this was no problem. None of that was done. Went over the hard removal for the convertible and yet they forget to take it off to paint, had to go back a second time, glue a badge to the car that ripped paint off when they washed it. Mirror trims was ripped off the car, half of the viechel was sanded not to mention when brought to the so called managers attention he flipped out on me.Response to owner, NO ATTEMPT OR EFFORT WAS EVER MADE.Service: Painting

Do not take your car there . Very bad place bad paint job an didn t put my truck back together the write way an an told me to have a nice day yes I am upset if the body work was done write the rust would not have came back in lest than a year an what about the fake a$$ warranty that covers nothing not even my door handles that got broken an almost 3000.00 dollars later an not to Mention the over spray on my wife car this place is a rip off save your money an go some where that s Honest and appreciate your dollarService: Painting

I took a car in for a scheduled estimate last week and was greeted by a male introducing himself as the owner. He was rude, lacking in social skill, and was discourteous. There are dozens of body shops in the area and some are better than others, but if the personnel will not even try to adopt a customer friendly attitude - as though I were the purpose of has being there and not an interruption - I positively refuse to do business with such people.

Took two cars here recently for fender bender repair. I like what they look like now, and the price was exactly what was quoted which was reasonable given the damage. Paul provides Professional Service and is a nice guy. Repairs were performed in a reasonable amount of time. Two weeks.

Got my rear archs fixed on my silverado. Had overspray onto the cab. ( which they fixed once I talked to them). They did not do a good job taping off the bed. I had just got line x installed a few weeks prior and now there's blue in it. They didn't reinstall my attena. They also had my truck for 12 business days when I was told it would take 7-10 business days. I would not recommend this place for rust repair.

Unfortunately, I have a particular proclivity for bumper damage, and as such, I am a return customer. Both times I have used their services; the entire process from quote to fix was as painless as possible. The shop's recent work was completed well and faster than I expected service in our COVID-19 existence. Social distancing and safety protocols are in place. 10:10 would recommend (the service, not the repeat bumper crunch)Service: Body & Trim

They really helped me out big time at a low point for me. Maaco was able to repair my car at a very affordable rate. They were so easy to work with and my car came back from the shop looking better than when I had bought it.

The customer service was horrible and nonchalant from the OWNER . Paint job was ok but for them to have a 4.0 rating I found many flaws for the price. Considering I used this business during a pandemic the time frame was way off ! Will not recommend nor use againService: PaintingService: Painting

The owner is not a reasonable person at all the work they did on my 03 Durango is unacceptable who puts parts that doesn't fit on a vehicle without having permission from customer the truck was never taped off properly the door jams were unpainted the whole roof had never been clear coated at all parts were also taken off and not put back correctly still surface rust between bumper on both sides the driver side fender was so bad I couldn't get a both in to hold headlights this was a rush job just to get me out the way and to top this all off they had my truck for over a month this is definitely not a place you want to take a vehicle that you care about after I conforted the owner he denied everything and refused to correct this poor service issue far as I'm concerned maaco in GR is a fraud I never received any type of financial reimbursement their was no structural damage to the vehicle whatsoever it's more than obvious to see that the owner invested in a cheap aftermarket fender and pocketed the rest of my money and once I brought these issues to the owner's attention as I said before he snapped out on me and my girlfriend and told us to leave his store immediately
