Mike & his team do outstanding work. In addition to the outstanding work they do they are upfront and honest with their customers at all times. There is nobody else in town I would trust with the custom work I had done on my Jeep or any other car service in town. I recommend them to all my friends and whenever anybody asks who is a good mechanic.

I cannot speak highly enough of Mike and his shop. They came recommended by another shop that was booked out. He was professional and transparent. I ve lived all over Michigan and travel for work. Their service, quality, and prices are hands down some of the best I ve seen in all of Michigan. It s great to see someone that s honest and takes pride in their work.Thank you soo much for the amazing service! I d recommend then to anyone I know, especially women who have struggled with dealerships trying to take advantage of them. You will not have that with this shop.Highly recommend!!Thank you guys again for the great work and amazing experience.

Mike made room for our Silverado with dual-lies when our brakes went out during our home move!Our regular mechanic was filled up, and they gave me M & R as a recommendation! He s forthright, professional and personable!Could not be more pleased

Mike, Lucas, and Andrea run a local shop with certified, professional techs. They are upfront and honest. We are making a military move from Washington state to Virginia and they were more than willing to accommodate us last minute. We are from Grand Rapids originally, and they definitely epitomize the old school west-side mechanics that did honest work for their local community.

Incredibly kind and helpful! As a woman, I am usually anxious about going to auto shops and am very cautious of being taken advantage of. Thankfully, these concerns were unwarranted at M&R. They were able to fit me in at the last minute, communicated my car's problems in a clear and easy to understand way, and broke down the price of each concern.Because of this, I was able to come to the conclusion that it was unsafe to continue driving my car and would cost too much to continue trying to fix it; I had been to 4 auto shops in less than a year and they were the only ones to communicate the concern for safety and the price in the long run. In the end, I bought a new car and was able to get a great trade in due to their diagnostic report.

Haven t even had any services performed on my car and I can confidently say this place is 5 stars!! Mike & his team are incredibly nice and helpful and were willing to help ASAP when my car broke down. Thank you guys!!!

This is one of the best repair shops I have ever encountered. I came to them when Valvoline messed up my Air filter housing on my Jeep Cherokee. Valvoline took me through a lot just for them to pay for the damage their employee caused. M & R provided me with excellent customer service! They actually care and was empathetic to my situation. They let me use their company phone and assisted me when I was on the phone with Valvoline for 2 hours getting the run around. M & R got me in immediately, right before thanksgiving when other shops told me they were too booked up to help. My part was ordered same day and they put it on in like 2 minutes and got me on my way. If you re looking for an affordable, reliable, and caring establishment then this is the place. Mike and his team at M&R Undercar are amazing to work with. I took my 2006 F-250 with a bad radiator to them and they had me back on the road the next day. Despite my truck being a diesel and notoriously hard to work on, Mike took the project head on, with amazing customer service and professionalism. Great, honest, and fair mechanic. M&R Up undercar will tell you everything that is wrong with your vehicle. But will not push you into repairs that aren't necessarily needed.My mom brought her vehicle here and was on a tight budget. Mike and Ryan gave her a huge break on the transmission replacement and break work!Thanks again!Definitely recommend them as a mechanic in the Grand Rapids area!
