Amazing service. Rick and his team are great. I have an older Range Rover and they were very knowledgeable and willing to do what it takes to get it in perfect running order. I ve had my car serviced at many different European specialty shops but the guys here are what you expect from a great local shop. Incredibly kind, helpful and very fairly priced. I d highly recommend having any of your automotive work done through them. It s hard to find an honorable auto shop nowadays but these guys are the real deal.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

I highly recommend Leo & Ed's! My car was in need of immediate attention. My regular repair shop said they were booked for two weeks. I called Leo & Ed's because I had heard good things about them and they're in my neighborhood. Although I was not a customer of their's, Rick told me to bring the car in right away and he'd get it repaired for me. It was misfiring and he called a couple of times to give me an update and suggested repairs. He was honest in suggesting repairs that needed immediate attention and some that could wait.Fast, friendly and honest service!I suggest you give them a try next time you need a repair.Service: Electrical

My husband and I needed to find someone that was knowledgeable and reliable to fix our car. We were not impressed with the local dealership. Leo and Ed's were highly recommended, so we decided to bring our car to Rick. It was the best decision we made! He quickly got our vehicle looked at, let us know how much we were looking at for parts and repair, and a time frame. Our car was ready on time, and he checked in with us to make sure we were happy with our service! Go here! Leo & Ed's!! These guys are 100% honest every single time i have car problems, and usually over-quote on time and labor cost. Yet again, today they were punctual, communicative, and treated me with respect. Replaced my shocks and the car feels beautiful. 10/10 highly recommend these guys. Rick (owner) and his team are simply the best in Grand Rapids, maybe even the entire region.

I called early on a Monday morning-first real cold day and snow was imminent- to get my tires swapped out. They said can you bring it in today by 2:30? I was expecting to get in line behind everybody rushing to get snow tires on. We can do it today they said. Then they discovered a bad tie-rod and proceeded to fix it before they sent me on my way. I have used Leo and Ed s often and recommend them without reservation.

I live in the neighborhood and got a flat tire right before leaving for work. I wasn't able to change it on my own so I called up this shop and they saw me right away and changed my tire to my spare to for hardly any cost. You know that a major chain would never have done that. i got in and out in 15 mins flat and made it to work! such a great neighborhood shop.

These guys are the best mechanics in town and they re very straight forward and honest right down to the details. Rick is always super friendly and a very down to earth guy. They ve been very flexible with my schedule since I drive a ton for work, which is great. I m always recommending Leo and Ed s to all my friends in the GR area, so definitely check them out next time you re having car troubles.

Unfortunately, I would rate this shop a 0 star if I could. Rick cares more about not getting a bad review than taking care of his customers.I scheduled my car for spark plugs to be replaced (simple routine maintenance at 60k miles). Rick decided to chalk it up that I had a blown gasket and refused to replace the bad spark plugs due to this. At first he told me my spark plugs looked great, but when I proceeded to tell him that I didn t want to do the 2k in service he recommended he didn t want to do my spark plugs anymore and THEN proceeded to tell me that cylinder two spark plug is bad and THEN put it back into the car after my initial request was to replace the spark plugs and I will go on my way. Not to mention he kept reiterating that it was difficult to replace plugs in turbo charged cars (he just didn t want to do it). This doesn t make any sense. My coolant levels were fine, engine has never over heated and I wasn t having any problems other than a spark plug misfiring one time. The car drove great.When I arrived to pick the car up he said he parked down the road at the church . I found my car with a dead battery in a neighboring lot that was a sketch area.He said you told me it didn t start several times and that why you brought it in not once did I ever say this to them. Not once.I would take your vehicle to a more experienced mechanic.

I've been a regular customer for the past several years. Recenrly had an urgent visit for a leaky tire. Rick called and asked if I also wanted the oil change done because he noticed it was due. They also caught that the car had a burned out brake light. BY FAR WORST EXPERIENCE AND THEY DONT EVEN DESERVE A STAR! So today March 27th I drove there and dropped off my car and placed the keys in the glove box. And I locked all the doors except the passenger side. So I get a call while I am at work about them being unable to find the keys. Which I informed them that the keys were in the glove box and I left the passenger door open. I also got another call in the afternoon telling me that he took the car for a drive and was unable to find anything major wrong just some minor things that he was under the impression that just some balancing needed to be done with the tires. And he was going to take it for another ride. After i explained that usually the wobbling happens upon me slowing down. So I let them know I would be there before 330p. I get to the dirty shop and walk uo to the garage to notice, a gentlemen using tools to try prying my door open. I am confused abd stop him by asking him what was he doing. My car is on RUNNING and slightly lifted in the air. I tell him i have a spare and out comes the owner i assume. Attempting to tell me to cut that out and get the spare. I get my spare open the door and my car door is completely scratched and chipped up from the prying. I ask him why was i not called before they got to trying to pry the door open. He responds saying that the door locks when you shut it. DUH IF THE CAR IS ON AND IN DRIVE! he starts speaking about his reviews blah, blah. And apologized and it was complety not sincere. We exchange words and he is again trying to talk over me And i told him to put my car down and i was done with the rudeness. Because i was paying him and not him paying me. Of course he responds extremely rude and before i know it. Im yelling arguing with the man. He pulls my car out and im arguing about the service. He had my car from 7a-3p and could only suggest the car needed some balancing. Horrible place and glad i didnt spend my money. Money is never the issue. So good reviews this one star!

Charged me $410 for a part that did not need changed. They advertise as a napa service center drawing you in with quality parts then install the cheapest stuff they can source. They installed a duralast basic part that was $85 at autozone yet they marked it up to $168.. Charged me $15 for less than a cup of brake fluid, hours of time and didn't even bleed the part or fix the issue. Told me it needed a clutch and would be thousands. Got a second opinion it took them less than 10 seconds to diagnose the actual problem of a broken clutch fork and had it repaired the next day. I would not wish this kind of service on my worst enemy. STEER CLEAR OF THESE SCAMMERS.

The Integrity! Brought my trax in for issues stalling and hesitating. Took them a bit to diagnose the problem because my car has a lot of codes coming back from an accident but they narrowed it down to a few issues. I only had them replace a valve cover gasket because that is all I could afford at the time. A couple days later the trax was having serious misfiring problems. I called them up and he explained to me how it was almost certainly my damaged ignition coil. They offered to replace the part free of labor since they had it off before. That's unheard of nowadays. Thank you leo and Ed's for helping me out in a tight situation!! Will definitely be back later this year for more repairs!

They have done ok work for me in the past, but I was very disappointed in them the last time I went and will not be backI was going to have a lot of work done while I was out of town for almost a week. They lost the record of my initial appointment, but assured me they could get the work done. I did not hear from them, which was kind of weird but I was busy so I didn't think about it too much. Finally, I got a call from them while I am at the airport for my RETURN flight that they have just now started to look at my car. They kept the car for an extra day and got nothing done on it aside from an oil change.
