Wow! I can't say enough great things about these guys. I called EARLY on a Saturday because my newer Expedition wouldn't heat up. I was sure I needed a new thermostat. Frank said to check the coolant levels beforehand to be sure, when he could've just had me come in and charged me. I had low coolant and after refilling, problem solved! What an honest bunch of guys, so hard to find in the auto repair world! I will be back if we ever need help. Thank you for your honesty!!

I m in Florida my daughter live in Grand Rapids she was hearing squeaking from her brakes had them inspect the brakes they advised there were no issues and checked hubs and bearings. Everything checked OK they didn t make unnecessary repairs or change unnecessary parts, very up front and honest, much appreciated thank you

Mark and his shop were amazing! Helped me get my older RV checked over and running smoothly, brakes fixed and other mechanicals checked and repaired safely for the big trip out west for my dads memorial. The big RV did so amazing no one could believe she climbed the mountains and down steep grades without a problem.Friendly, fast and fair pricing. Mark was great. Frank too, as he was responsive and set me up with Mark right away. Had the A/C go out on our way home from vacation. Our four young kids quickly made it clear we were not going to be able to make it the rest of the way home without a fix. How did the grandparents ever do road-trips without A/C?!? Lots of parental yelling ?! Fortunately, they were able to fit us in and make short work of a potential big problem (as the wife and kiddos hung out at the zoo!). I had expected a short-term fix, just to get us home, but Mark worked some magic and said he did a long-lasting fix, that I may not need to get adjusted for quite some time! Mark came out to our RV location in the cold to change our 5th Tire. The rim had been destroyed and we would have been stuck for a few a days without him. Mark told us to say, "he did a terrible job" but that would make us liars! Job well down we feel safe to travel and are grateful there are still talented, skilled kind people like him! I commuted long miles to an out-of-town worksite from Grand Rapids. On Sunday afternoon, my check engine light went on. I found out it was for my spark plug and coils. Who would be open on a Sunday afternoon in GR?! Not many places! And not many with openings! But THIS ONE WAS!! And I'm so glad it was!Scheduling:-Mark immediately answered my call, scheduled me, and fixed my car that day.Service:-They not only did an excellent repair, but had great clear and open communication, friendly service, and went above and beyond with making sure my car was ready for the week.-They made the whole experience pain-free and really saved me when I was in a lurch!Pricing:-They worked with me as a student to make sure it affordable!Great Location on West Side:-It is walking distance from great coffee shops (there is one in Bridgestreet Market open on Sundays!), grocery shopping (WIC accepted at Bridge Street Market), and eateries!-I went to Bridgestreet while I waited and used their office for some studying.Extras:-They also have a cute cat you can meet (but for those with allergies, don't worry as the cat is not in the office) and WIFI to work on things while you wait.Hope more people can know about and visit here when they have an auto repair need!Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Vehicle safety inspection, Auto maintenance

Had a wonderful experience with Rodney! We were told by a dealership one story and come to find out it was nothing like that at all! Rodney was able to assist us and get our car fixed for an extremely reasonable price! Thank you very much for all your help! We will definitely be returning!

We were traveling through the area on a very long trip to go see some family out of state on a Sunday and these fine gentlemen took their day off to help us out. without their help we would ve had to call off the trip. Both guys went above and beyond helping us get our parts same day, and they didn t let a tough to get off wheel stop them either. I highly highly recommend.Service: Steering & suspension repair

December 26th, I was passing through Grand Rapids en route to do some hiking.My vehicle started to overheat. It was a Saturday evening so I got a hotel room.Sunday morning I Google searched for any mechanic that would happen to be open on a Sunday...during a holiday weekend. GR repair came up.I didn't expect a response, nor did I expect a very good experience.I called the cellphone number on their web site...he answered !!He asked me questions...and told me a recent water pump replacement was probably my problem and to buy some premix antifreeze because the coolant system probably just needed to be burped.I did what he said...and it worked.He texted me to check up on me, on a Sunday morning...during a holiday weekend.I asked him to please let me pay them for the over the phone diagnostic and literally saving me hundreds of dollars and being stuck in town.He refused payment and said he only wanted to be sure I was safe.This shows the character of this business.They had every opportunity to take advantage of me, but chose to do the right thing and show kindness.I can't say enough good things about this place.Hopefully my review will push some business your way, you deserve it.I'm from out of town (but a GR native), I will definitely keep your number and recommend you to everyone I know in Grand Rapids.Thank you.

I work weird hours and GR Repair was willing to work with me to get my car in to fix an alternator. They were very transparent and fairly priced. I will be going back for any future auto repair needs!
