Grand Rapids Motorcar Service seems to be one of the few places in town that has the equipment to properly flush the automatic gear box fluid.I contacted them at 4 pm and I have got an appointment for the following day at 8:00am !I am a nasty Italian engineer who just drive domestic (my domestic) cars, I have a lot of prejudices about the US mechanics yet after a short conversation I have realized I was in the right place.They did the job smoothly and the car was ready in the afternoon as promised.The total cost was affected by the actual cost of the ZF fluid, but beside this the cost of labor itself was honest even if it is a qualified labor.A final note, I have appreciated the fact they use the text messages to keep you posted about any phase of the repair processSo in few words:Grand Rapids Motorcar Service is fast, competent efficient and honest.

Scott, Rob and the others there are awesome. Very friendly and helpful. Extremely impressed with the correspondence thru email and text of keeping me updated with issues with my car, estimates and even pictures of problem areas. Thank you too for getting the car done so quickly. Being a classic car, I'm used to it being gone for weeks at a time. I had my car back in 3 days! I just can't thank you all enough!

So far my experience has been GREAT with Grand Rapids Motor Car. We have some final business to attend to and I and I don't feel apprehensive. At this point they would receive 5 stars. I'll be back......Waaait for it.

The best service in GR. Quick response time and solid prices. They tell you what is wrong with the car, and what needs to be immediately fixed, what will need to be fixed in the future, and what is currently running well. 5 stars!

The diagnostic report with photos was awesome. Appreciated getting status updates via text and getting timely replies back to my text messages. Price seemed fair and was cheaper than the Chevy dealership quoted me.

I told people about where I bring my business to while I waited for my car to be fixed so strong 10 on telling friends and famliy.. I bought a 2015 Chrysler Town n Country with an extended warranty on it and long story short had a ton of transmission problems. Grand Rapids Motor Car handled everything with the warranty company and the dealership I bought it from, and had been running excellent since. I trust these guys. Cody was extremely helpful. I also had them work on my 2014 Jeep Cherokee. And they are reasonably priced... highly recommended...Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I live in Grand Rspids and was a former customer of Crown Toyota of Holland because I am very particular about who works on our cars. Due to changes in personnel/mechanics at their service facility, I was looking for a place closer to home that would meet my needs. Grand Rapids MotorCar has exceeded my expectations and I have/would highly recommend them to anyone looking for superior service. Cody Anderson, the service advisor, is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and does a thorough job explaining any repair issues. He has won me over in the trust department, a rare achievement for someone as fussy as I am. In addition, the rest of the personnel are genuinely friendly and welcoming. Sam at GR Motorcar did a great job with the repair on our 2019 Subaru Outback & Cody handled all the paperwork with our warranty coverage. The ball joint & tie rod repair was done in a timely manner. Grand Rapids Motorcar has always treated me as their most valuable customer even though I know that is how they treat ever one of their customers. They repair exactly what need repairing, give me a heads up on anything that may need looking at in the future, and ALWAYS use the best technician for my make of car. I could not speak more highly of Grand Rapids Motorcar! The service team here provides high quality work, but more importantly - they truly value their customers and are very intentional about customer appreciation. Rob and the team are always there to help for all of my car care needs and routinely go above and beyond to provide assistance (they even helped connect me to a reputable service provider when my car needed repairs when I was out of town!). They always explain everything in a way that I can understand, which empowers me to make more informed decisions about my vehicle.
