Called 10 other shops in town. Earl s was the only one willing/able to work on my 1983 Toyota, and they did an incredible job! Ignacio replaced my clutch and fixed up the root cause. Could tell he was proud of the work as he showed me everything under the hood before I paid, even though I showed up to pick up after 5pm on a weekday. Couldn t have been happier with the service, and looking forward to another 100K miles in this old beast. Thanks Ignacio!!

Hands down honest! Fair price honest work. Took my sons car prepared to buy a transmission but they understood given the amount of miles left on the car that we should just try to use the life left in the transmission we already had. We did some small repairs and I think we may have another year or two on it

Man - if I could give a zero - it would be a fat bagel. On Thursday I took my car to Earl's to see what the problem was I was having. I asked if I left the car Friday morning would it be done the following Thursday (6 full days). The guy that runs the place (Ignacio ?) Said no problem - it would be done when I got back to town.When I got back they hadn't even started it yet. He said he'd call in the next couple of days when parts came in. It's now a week after I returned - no call yet. So I took it to Real Pro and they did it in 6 hours.

Nice people, probably overwhelmed and overworked. Wrong diagnosis and in a hurry to get rid of the vehicle. Wanted to replace the transmission without even looking at it $$$$$$$$$$$$

tMy truck would not start so I went to Earl's transmission and spoke to the owner and he assured me that he would be able to work on my truck right away. They had my vehicle for a week before they even looked at it. Then I was informed that my truck needed a tune-up and that it would cost $545. That price was crazy! When I went to pick up my truck , I was inspecting the work and realized that they only changed the wires and wanted to charge $545. I said"you must be crazy", then he reduced the price to $400, but he refused to give me a receipt. I didn't want to leave my truck there anymore so I paid him. Please DO NOT go here, this company is CROOKS.

Amazing and knowledgeable technicians here ! Definitely the best transmission shop in Michigan. Better service then the dealers themselves I would highly recommend this place if you want your car or truck done right ! Big shout out to Nacho at Earl's Transmission!!! I thought my power steering pump was toast and gave him a call, he said bring it in and he'll figure it out.Long story short, my serpentine belt was just a little too loose and wasn't putting enough pressure on the pulley. He tightened it up and sent me on my way.That shop has always done me right. Not only are they fair and HONEST, which is hard to find these days, but they will always give you options on parts and they get the job done FAST!If you ever need mechanical work done, I highly recommend Earl's Transmission.

Watched one of their repair men burn the tires on someones car. Hopefully his but probably not, either way dont go here for service unless you want your car abused and have to spend a bunch more money fixing the things they screw up by driving that way..Day 2, watched them do same things in a different vehicle, 1st day was a jaguar, today he smoked the tired on a white Chevy truck. Very professional. Stay far away.

The service and quality workmanship is hard to match! These guys know their stuff and will get it done right!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone with transmission issues. Ask for Juan Gomez who will go the extra mile! Thanks again Juan!

I highly recommend this place nice and friendly they willing to work with you, I felt comfortable I like that they didn t try take advantage of me being a women like most auto shops do, they good At what they do

No honor amongst thieves, they do not honor anything they say! Unprofessional, untimely, and understaffed. They rebuilt my transmission and had my vehicle over three weeks, it s draining mentally and financially dealing with Earl s. Would never go back there and wouldn t recommend them to anyone!

Earl's Transmission rebuilt the transmission in my wife's Mercury Mountaineer two weeks ago. The service was very prompt, they charged a fair price and provided a two-year warranty.
